W500 Bluetooth poor Audio quality

Hi all

I recently bought a Bose Soundlink speaker bluetooth and have paired with my ipod touch and w500. IPod Touch sounds good, but the audio through the speaker to come via the w500 looks like it's cut, especially at the fort-normal listening level. The soundlink both the w500 have installed bluetooth driver updates. Clipping occurs even when the main (and iTunes/Spotify) volume are at least 50% of power.

My question is if there is a way to reduce the 'power' of the bluetooth signal so it does not cause the speaker to distort. Audio read by the speaker through 3.5 mm of the w500 sounds great even at high volume.

Thanks for any response.

Hello!

It's not the cut, clipping occurs in the analog world.

In the case of Thinkpad Bluetooth - only low bitrate audio is probably set up for A2DP. So you get a large number of artifacts of compression and bandwidth.

The solution to install a third-party Bluetooth Stack instead of Lenovo drivers.

I had the same problem with my speakers wireless X 220 and Creative D200. The audio quality has increased considerably with the BlueSoleil software, but I could still hear a few distortions bit.

Then I tried to install Toshiba Bluetooth Stack, it requires a few changes to the .inf file but can be done.

The sound quality is now close to perfection.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you need details.

  • iPhone Bluetooth SE sound quality

My iPhone with iOS 9.3.1 SE knows a poor audio quality when making calls via Bluetooth when it is connected to my 2011 Toyota Prius C. It seems distorted and scratchy.

My wife more 6s with iOS 9.3.1 IPhone doesn't have this problem, and not more than my old iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S.

Music streaming via Bluetooth sounds great.

I tried to reset network settings, restaurant as a new phone and remove and add it again all Bluetooth devices in my car, but the problem persists.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

My iPhone has the same problems and there also the iOS 9.3.1. Some days, it seems to have no problem with very little crackling, but most of the time she's so cute that I have to cut the Bluetooth to have a conversation. Certainly not something I want in a phone. It is certainly a problem of phone than my previous iPhone 6 is a/a no problem.

  • Why the audio quality of Apple TV 4 film is so bad?

I have my Apple TV (4th generation) hooked up to my receiver Pioneer Elite and the audio quality is very, very bad on all HD, its horrible movies. Everything is fine with my HDMI cable, receiver, or Apple TV. The volume is so low compared to the playback of a blu - ray movie or watch anything on television. When I watch a movie to iTunes HD on my Apple TV, I have to turn up the volume so much, but it does not increase the volume as it should. The audio is so different from a blu - ray movie, seems almost alive compared to watching a movie to iTunes on my Apple TV. Its really, really frustrating. Its almost unacceptable. Whats up, the poor audio quality? In most cases I pay more money for a movie to iTunes that the blu - ray of the same film. I expect the same or better quality audio.

Sorry it's perfectly audible here, you do not have something to get lost with your installation or your equipment.

  • Low Audio quality

I've never had a Smartphone before, so I didn't know what to expect. My recent Droid Razr has terrible sound quality... I'm pretty sure that the built-in speaker can outpreform my professional headphones... Is this a problem with my phone, or just droids have poor audio quality?

I noticed with my headphones in it looks like I'm in a large room... The song somehow echo, but is really hard to hear... The quality of the music of today is very different, it seems that distort too.

I actually got an audiophile, it may just be me, but I can't talk about it...

Edit: It sounded like noise improved 3D... And it was! Check the answer if you have the same problem.

It is possible that the music player is distorting the runway. Also try adjusting the audio effects:

    1: go into settings

    2elect sound

    3: Select Media sound effects

  • CarPlay audio quality of the voice when it is connected through the USB port is poor vs Bluetooth on Pioneer AVH-4200NEX

    Hello!

I recently installed a Pioneer AVH-4200NEX unit, I was super excited to improve my car with the support of CarPlay, and everything works great except for one thing.  When I connect my iPhone (6s +) to the unit via a USB cable and a standard phone call, the audio quality is very bad - hail, very downsampled, and metallic sounding compared to the use of Bluetooth via the unit to pioneer for the same phone call (I'm on LTE, using HD voice, although the quality difference is quite noticeable on the calls not HD and on the 4 G calls).  I looked for an answer to this question, but the best that I can find mention of limited USB bandwidth and try to juggle than the bandwidth for the rest of the CarPlay experience, although I don't buy not because audio via the iPhone connected with USB playback is just as clear that it is through Bluetooth.  So my question is: How can I submit a bug report Apple about this behavior and (b) do you have other CarPlay users also be known this recent problem on a unit of Pioneer NEX (AppRadio included)?  It would be great if this is a bug of Pioneer for which they can release a firmware update, I'm just worried that it is a codec problem specified by the CarPlay, so non repairable.

    Thank you!

    Hello served,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand that when you use the USB cable for your iPhone in your car with the audio CarPlay is mediocre. I know how it is important for you to hear your calls clearly. In a situation like this, I recommend the steps described in the following article to help solve the problem.

Configure CarPlay to use with your iPhone

Specifically the section to get help:

    Get help

If CarPlay does not work as you expect, here's what you can check. After each step, try to use CarPlay again.

    1. Make sure that Siri is turned on.
    2. Restart your iPhone and your car. Depending on your car, you can see the CarPlay home screen when you turn it on. If you do not, look for the CarPlay logo on the screen of your car.
    3. If possible, connect your iPhone to a different USB port in your car.
    4. Try a different lightning to a USB cable. Make sure that the cable is certified.
    5. Update to the latest version of iOS.
    6. Check the manual using your car. You may need to install updates of firmware for your stereo.

    See you soon

  • Xperia Z3 Bluetooth audio quality Kenwood DDX8034

I have Kenwood DDX-8034 in my car. When I got an iPhone 4S bluetooth quality was perfect. I bought Xperia Z3 and its bluetooth has become blurred. There is a huge difference. It would be just great if Z3 had a few bluetooth configurations to match its different bluetooth. (default auto + manual Protocol and encoding configuration)

Xperia Z3 4.4.4 Kitkat. Cannot find out what is happening on Lollipop yet. My customization has not yet obtained lollipop.

PS: I also noticed that all android devices have bluetooth of poor quality with DDX8034. all the sounds of perfect apple devices.

If your Kenwood auxiliary, a solution would be to use a cable instead or if you do not want any son, look for a bluetooth receiver that connect to THE in on the Kenwood and then connect to your phone instead. For the best audio quality, look for a bluetooth receiver that supports aptX.

    Edit:

    Something like our BM10.

  • Windows 7 - audio system sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Soundcard Question. Issue of the audio recording. Poor sound quality from the speakers.

I connect on - the work of sound system very well.  Media player works fine.  The next time I log on - no sound system.  Everything is plugged, convenience store finds no problems, Media player goes through all the steps and looks that don't worry, still no sound.  I have download a fix for the VIA recommended by Dell Driver.  I did, and it still has the same problem.  I can close, reconnect, and then the sound will work.  Sometimes I have to close and log on twice in a row so he can launch.

Can someone point me in the right direction to solve this problem?  I am working on a Dell Inspiron 546 AMD Athlon II x 2 215 2.70 GHz and 64-bit with 400 GB of RAM.  I installed Windows 7 but when I dug deeper into the service code for this machine which found at some point in time he had installed Vista.  This could be the same Vista to Windows 7 problem audio, everyone seems to have?  I bought this Staples announced new with Windows 7 as operating system.

I did research on all forums and responses and am unable to check if I have a "sound card".  I'm not used with the terminology so even if I follow the Microsoft instructions to find the right place to check and see, I do not understand what I see when I'm there.  It is said: ATI high definition Audio Device and VIA High Definition Audio.  Is this to say that I have a sound card or I should get it a?  If I buy a sound card will it fix my audio problem?

Even though I had my audio problem fixed, I was disappointed by the sound quality of the speakers on this new system up to date.  My speakers on my old computer (which lasted from Windows 98) were by far superior in sound quality.  I don't understand why they sound so crappy and barely louder, and when you show the to they have a rattle for them.  I tried plugging my old speakers on my new computer, but nothing happens.  My new speakers have a Plug and a USB port.  I don't know what is... why goal can not use my 'old'?

Finally, I want to record my vinyl on discs and need a great sound system.  Any advice?

I removed all the ATI Audio as suggested.  The result in the short term is that the audio quality is improved.  I no longer hear the "crackling" when the sound is turned on.  I'll answer more if the issue of audio (works) continues to be a problem because the fix.  If you don't hear from me, then please consider the problem solved and my thanks to you.

  • hp beats audio quality

I was hoping to ask for some advice on the poor quality of the sound I get from my new laptop (DV7-4069) Hp. Music played on it sounds bit deep & slender at best despite the presence of a subwoofer bass & audio beats technology. The parameters Panel audio beats Hp makes no difference significant in my opinion. I have naturally draw comparisons with my last laptop (Hp pavilion ze2000) which, with its altec lansing speakers have a fantastic audio quality. Makes me wonder what all the hype is around the hp beats technology unfortunately.

Any suggestions to get a fuller, better sound? Thank you very much

I just got my phone yesterday and I tried to figure why sounds audio beats like Doo - Doo.

I found a way to make the balanced sound and not uber hectic.

Go to Control Panel > sounds

Click on the speakers and headphones > Properties

Under improvements you can choose what you want to improve.

I clicked on Bass Boost, Virtual Surround and collected Loudness.

Next is the most important, click levels.

When I first clicked it my bass was equal to-20 and my treble 4. 100% opposite poles and it was the default settings!

I put my bass 4-0 and I hear not and crack or break. I'm happy now.

You may also need to play with the EQ levels in the Interface bat to get straight for you, but the sounds of decent Beats Tour setting now.

    I hope this helps.

  • Audio quality on Satellite C55-A-1

    Hello

I'm considering buying a laptop model Toshiba C55, C55-A-1 to be precise.
However I'm a bit read comments and one or two people were not satisfied with the audio quality of the machine.

I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with the series C55 and can comment on audio quality and the quality of president of these laptops.

How do they get to watch a move, or listen to music?
    They produce audio undistorted clear?
are they strong enough (given the fact that I wear a hearing aid because I have a terrible hearing).

I have a Toshiba laptop at the moment, I have had for nearly six years and feel that it may be time for an upgrade.
My current model is a P300-16 t and has served me very well.

I would appreciate any advice and answers to the questions I asked, I thank you for reading and for any help provided.

    > However I head a little read comments and one or two people were not satisfied with the audio quality of the machine.

+ One of the two people was unsatisfied +: well, I put t appreciate these opinions.
It turns out that you can not compare this notebook with a costly high range support or Playbook. You must always consider the value of price-ration.

This series of portable was equipped with common standard designed speakers and you shouldn't compare the sound for laptop computers equipped with speakers harman cardon.

But the laptop is supported by some sound effects called DTS Sound controlled by software pre-installed. This software enhances the sound quality immensely.
In many cases, people are not aware of such a software and don t use.

  • The range of process buffers affect the audio quality?

I came across some problems of overload on Logic Pro X and I was suggested to increase "Process buffer range" to "Large" to reduce the errors of overload. My question was whether this parameter will affect my audio quality. Thank you!

-Macbook Pro w / Retina display (mid-2014 - 128 GB), OSX El Capitan.

It can affect the latency and should not affect the audio quality.

  • The best Format Possible Rip for Audio quality

I am running Windows XP Professional with Media Player 11. I don't care about the size of the files because I have lots of storage and I don't like using my music on a laptop or device drive. I'm only looking for to get the best possible audio quality, because I want to play with audio equipment high-end. What is the best choice? Audio Windows Media without loss or WAV Lossless? Thank you.

If you worry as marking, then I would certainly recommend WMA Lossless. WAV very bad support of marking - WMP wrote only WAV files once tags during extraction, and they cannot be changed more thereafter. This can cause problems in the future, for example, when moving the files to another PC. For more information, see http://thewelltemperedcomputer.com/SW/WMP/WAV.htm . Tim Baets

  • Audio quality Sony RX100

I own a HX30v, but the audio is so intestine makes videos virtually unusable. I think buying a RX100.

Is the audio quality on the RX100 substantially improved over the HX30v? Is this a switch that I should do?

    Don

I wouldn't assume that the HX30v has an audio volume control where it allows you to adjust the audio volume would?

Other than that, you watch the video on the computer or camera? On the computer, it is generally much stronger than you think.

    Otherwise, who knows...

I have not had the RX100, but I know by the other Cybershot, that the audio was good - but at the end of the day, it depends on the user. Maybe it still won't be enough for what you're looking for?

If possible, see if a store has one that you can try, give it a try. Don't forget, it's going to be soft on the camera from the computer. Or try a few video samples of the RX100.

  • Audio quality in Photo Story 3

I use profiles customized Papa John's for Photo Story 3, it says the audio is supposed to be at 320 Kbps, but when the video is finally created the audio is very fixed, is it possible to improve the audio quality until it should be? I use it for videos from YouTube because it allows me to remove black borders and have the image full screen of the player, if it can not be helped, there there other video editors that allow to remove black borders?

    Thanks for any help :)

I also tried to use mp3 files but had terrible audio results.

Then I read the WMA or WAV files work best. I tried several WAV files and the sound is beautiful!

    Good luck.
