  When the computer is turned off, the network adapter has NO of LIGHTS.  Does that mean than the Wake on LAN is not configured correctly?  Which setting I'm missing?

  I am trying to configure wake on LAN on laptop ProBook 640 G1, but it does not work
  
  I configured the BIOS settings and also tried different magic packet WOL tools with no luck. I have already updated the BIOS to the latest available version. Also I tried various BIOS settings, but it simply doesn't.
  
  I read the various messages with some advice (as configuration options of Windows drivers, also put my laptop in standby mode, the standby modes available with the POWERCFG command verification) but still I can't make it work.
  
  I tested my network using a utility to check if my phone is received the magic packet and network is fine.
  
  I already work with Wake On LAN function in another HP laptop and it works fine. The problem is with this new model (I have 2 new laptops and it does not work in any of them).

  I solved my problem.

  The origin of the problem is the way in which Windows 8 turns off your computer.

  If I run the "shutdown-s" command to CMD then I can start my computer with magic packet WOL.

  But if I use the option stop with the mouse, then I can't.

  I had to disable the hybrid boot in my windows, so it's no more a problem. I found there is a command to do this:

  ' bcdedit/set disabledynamictick Yes.

  Now it works fine.

  I had my monitor for about two weeks and it works fine, but yesterday the menu and power buttons unresponsive. The light on the power button is also disabled. If I turn off my PC the picture hangs at the screen closed until I have turn the computer on. Otherwise, the screen seems to work very well. I have not tried to unplug it and by him plugging back in since it's my only monitor at the moment and I won't be able to use my PC the case. Anyone know what could be causing this?

  Not sure, but you should try resetting the monitor =
  * Turn off the monitor
  * Unplug the monitor power cable and all other cables from the rear bottom side of the monitor
  * If a mechanical monitor power button / power off, press the button in 30 seconds (erases all residual power in the circuits). If not a mechanical, just power button wait 30 seconds
  * Reconnect all cables and retest

  I can't get my R7 running Windows 8.1 to wake up from sleep with a WoL «Magic Packet» State I use a Plugable USB2 (6 AX88178/Realtek RTL8211CL) ethernet adapter. I have six other PCs on my home network, all running Windows 7, and WoL works very well on all of them.

  I activated the WoL function in the bios of R7 and the device settings for the NIC Plugable (for which I have downloaded the latest drivers from Plugable), and I tried to wake up the R7 with the QuickStart feature, on and outside. The R7 is lying just through it all.

  I am facing a validation of w.r.t. strange question. I created the validations and successfully tested. For example, I created a "V1" validation that verifies the "P1" property to a value of "False" to determine whether validation is to the success or failure. If the value of the property is set to True, it should not throw any validation error.

  The property P1 is derived the value properly and validations are works fine with assign them the node type. When I assign the node type, the property P1 is derived from the 'False' value, but the node is getting added without lifting a validation error.

  Any suggestions would be helpful.

  I have a really, really strange bug. I have a LabVIEW VI that change a chain on a power supply. I have a start and a stop voltage and use a while loop to increment the device. For example if I want to scan from 1, 2V to 2.2 V in 0.2 V incremements, the program will end when "The current tension" = "stop the tension." And it works very well!

  However, when I start - 3 V and want to stop to say-0.8 (new in 0.2 V incremements) the program does not stop when "The current tension" = "stop the tension."
