  Printer all-in-one Photosmart D110A. Printer works OK to computer when printing black and white or in color. But when using the scan or copy feature the printer does a solid black page. This just started recently. If I try to scan a document from the computer, the analysis that results is black Uni. I guess that it is a hardware problem. If this is correct, how can I get it fixed. Who should I call at HP for parts? Can I fix it myself or the printer fatally broken and that I should buy a new printer?

  It sounds like the scanner lamp turns off.  You can't really repair or replace just the scanner lamp.  The way to resolve this would be to replace the entire printer.  Check your warranty here.  If the warranty is still good, you can join the 1-800-474-6836 technical support in the United States and in Canada, international users click here.

  It would be useful to know what device you ask the subject!   Normally, an Xor the trash icon appears at the top of the screen when you tap and hold the app long enough.

  Drag the application to the trash can to remove from your home screen, but not your device.

  I have problems printing black and yellow of my Photosmart HP 5520. I ran head clean process repeatedly wait between cleanings and it still does not print. Black print cartridge is brand new and yellow is half full. I've been on the link which when black and other color does not print and still no luck.   In my set-up I use it only for color printing. Since black is common to all print jobs, color or B & W and most of the color jobs have a large black (text at least), the result is that the small black cartridge is depletd long before one of the color, while the black ink cartridges big remains alone and not used.

  It is hard to believe the printer can be set up is required to use the black great when black ink cartridge. Is this just a way to sell more ink cartridges?

  The largest black tank is made from pigments and is used for the standard black prints only on plain paper.  The black pigment ink is not supposed to be used with the photo paper, because it's a heavier type of ink and perhaps do not dry on this type of media.

  The smaller black ink tank is tinted as the other color inks and is used for photos of photo output and graphics on the types of media other than plain paper.  Tinted ink works with other color inks to improve contrast and image stabilization of the color and black and white photography exceptional production.

  The inks are designed to complement each other, which allows the printer produce best quality of output or a picture of possible black text as appropriate.

  All of a sudden my printer does not print any black.  I have cleaned the print head (by using tools of the printer), came out of the cartridge and shook to see if he has really ink in it (printer says that it is complete), and it spend it.  The printer has been used regularly - it's not dry.  I tried to print the "status report" and the only thing that prints is the ink supply photos.  The thick black cartridge shows nothing, as if the cartridge is empty.  Can anyone help?

  my HP Photosmart Premium C309a was partially by printing in black and white only, when black has failed. I thought that the startup ink level may have been wrong on the front panel, so I bought a new black ink cartridge. Same problem and so I found this forum. I did a clean cartridge and the black began to work again. It is certainly a matter of keep an eye, and not one I am happy to know. My printer is only 1 month.

• HP PSC1410 'off' when it is 'on '.

  The printer is connected to a Samsung laptop by usb port. He has been erratic for a week, sometimes black printing OK, sometimes in red, when black is the color required.

  Today, I tried to solve the problems but could not make it past the obvious fact that the printer has been turned off, when he was on. I tried to disconnect and reconnect the usb cable, nothing helps. When you try to reset the default printer, the printer status shows as off.   Hello everyone, having a little trouble with my laptop. It has Windows Vista Home Basic, and that's all that works well for the two years that I got it. Today, but just the screen when black after I opened it upward. I Googled it of course and a bunchg of other cases set came. But mine was a little different, as most of the people said they still had their cursor on the screen. Mine doesn't work. And also, an error window appears saying that Windows Explorer cannot be started. Tried booting in safe mode, the same except that now the cursor is there. Help?

  Here is the complete, just troubleshooting tool in case you win a partial access and use safe mode.
  Even if you do not have a cursor in Windows the same patches must be tempted.

  You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel - device
  Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - then right click
  on devices and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

  Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure)
  CTRL + ALT + DELETE and on the tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - then
  on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is reached
  by tapping F8 as you start several times.

  Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
  That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the

• strange problem of black ink 3110

  A few days ago I was at halfway by feel something urgent when black ink expired. He gave me the option to continue using only the colors and I agreed that finished fine print.

  OK, then insert the installation CD and explore its contents. Now, go to the folder Util > ccc and run the Uninstall_L2.bat file and let the uninstall complete. Now install the software again, and then, when you try to print, you should not get this msg again.

  I just got my new BB bold 9900. Has updated the OS to v7.1.714. Now I see not a helmet on the homescreen icon when I plug the headphones of BB. Although I get sound when I plug from the 3.5 mm plug.

  Another issue is when I receive a call I am not able to hear the call, ringing on the headset, rather that I hear from the speaker as I would when no headset is plugged.

  I heard that it is a common problem when an upgrade of the OS is made. Is there a solution? Help, please!

  Thank you for your question about the helmet on the BlackBerry 7.1 software feature.

  The headphones icon should only appear in within the phone application and not on the home screen when connected and on a call.

  The ringtone will also go through the speakers of the device and not on taking 3.5 mm connected headphones. This is normal.

  I have a problem with my printer, a Photosmart all-in-One b210a, connected wireless to my network. The problem occurs when printing: it seems that the printer doesn't print anything that uses the color black or black color itself.
  I tried to clean the print head and it only prints the other colors (one line). I tried also to change the ink cartridge, but nothing to do; I tried to align the cartridges aaaand it is said that the alignment is not (it only printed the blue lines) and everything in the Tools menu, but not reset the configuration.

  I also tried to print 10 Windows and OS X (a color and a black and white document). The same result at a time when black and white document printing: not black.

  Looks like you did most of the resolution of the problems already. The print head is probably clogged or will need to be replaced.

  NOTE: I would be cleaning several times to try to resolve the problem with the print head.

  Please confirm that you have tried the steps in this guide: HP Photosmart Plus B210 printer - color or black ink printing not.

  If the problem persists, the print head should be cleaned.

  Check the status of print head warranty:
  If you have a faulty cartridge or print head, it might be under warranty. To check the warranty on your ink supplies, go to tohp.com/go/learnaboutsupplies, select your country/region, and then review the information of limited warranty for your supplies.

  Printhead replacement games are available from HP customer or authorized service providers assistance.
  ATTENTION: Wait until you have a new available print head Assembly before you remove the ink cartridges. Do not leave the ink cartridges out of the printer longer than 30 minutes. Can result in damage to the printer and ink cartridges.

  If the printer is out of warranty, you can try the procedure in the video below. Please use at your own discretion.

• Black print is not on AIO 7280

  My wife and I are that both connected to 7280 which we have had for about 2 years and working well until yesterday when black stopped printing. I tried to install a new print cartridge, tried to clean the heads and tried printing alignment with the result that it says alignment failed. I have tried cleaning the contacts with the swab.   I do not know (or understand) how to have access to the print heads and if thaey are thye or printer cartridges. I read everything I can find already on the topic in the forum. All prints and works OK except the black printing. Can you help me please?

  This problem was solved later help of? Which computer Help Desk.  They directed me to clean the print heads using the Toolbox for the C7280 on my computer. Previously, I had used the Toolbox on the screen of the printer itself that has been without success. When I used the command "clean printhead" from my computer, the first attempt was also unsuccessful, but he then gave me the opportunity to own intermediate printhead if the initial cleanup will not produce a satisfactory result. I guess the intermediate clean print head is a deep cleaning. When I did the pure Intermedaite test page (which automatically printed) printed in BLACK, but also all of the colors. Eureka! HP would not help me because I'm out of warranty, but I am so grateful to? That because I'm almost about to buy another printer.

  You are right that this is not as simple as you might think at first.  You asked for succinct, but there are several steps involved in mode Code (horror!)

  1) first add this script just before the closing tag () on your page head and then insert all your path/imagenames where see you mine.  Notice of the ORDER OF THE IMAGES must match the order of your choice to be called with the list of drop-down selection in your form! :

  2) in second place, in your form, add the below onchange event for thetag.  Note that in this example, the ID on the we will work with the tag is "theImg", change that, as needed.  If youdo not already own one identifying the tag (see further below), just use "theImg".

  So here's a form with a select field.  Use whatever values you need to do this, just add my onchange event as shown:

  3) Finally, you can click on thetag, then click on the Tag/behavior window, click sound + plus sign and select "Preload Images" and adds all imagenames so they will appear more quickly when the selection list is used.
