• Want 4507: Printing problems with envy 4507

  I bought my printer a couple of months and everything worked fine. I have not used for a few weeks and now it seems to be a problem. When I print a PDF for example, any black text to print at all. For a Word document, the text (black) comes out as a very light gray. Color of text is fine in both cases. A printer test page prints just color bars, but also some Black hooks. The print quality is fine, its only missing bits.

  This happens if im wireless for my laptop or phone, or via USB connection.  The ink levels are high in the two cartridges, I tried cleaning cartridges and putting back them in place. I also re-installed the latest version of the software on my laptop (Windows 10) and I reset the printer to factory settings. Nothing seems to solve this problem. Someone at - it other suggestions I can try?

  I do not print a lot of pictures but I recently tried to get the print without margins on HP 4 x 6 Premium Photo paper.  However, I can't figure out how to get the image in the whole paper without borders.  I did research on the web and tried some settings of the printer, but still not get borderless prints.  I don't remember if the settings gave me an option for borderless prints.  I can without borders on my printer?  I'd hate to take what I want the printer in Photo development store to get prints when I have a printer that prints great color with the exception of the border of the nuisance.

  Research on the form located here, it does not seem that without borders are supported. One solution might be to cut the borders on the pictures, but it is understandable that this might be the least favorite.

  I understand you are trying to print photos on photo paper. If you use a device the Hp ePrint home and Biz app android and iPhone download Hp ePrint app download. With the application after you have selected the photo, you can go into the settings and select paper size.

• I can't get the photo I want to print to display.

  In the print module, I can't get the photo I want to print to display.  I just get a blank white print range in the print module.  I select the picture I want to print in the library and then go to the print module and it is empty.  If I go to one of my collections, it will display the 1st photo of the collection only.  What am I missing?

  Go to the Lightroom print module and select "Selected pictures" in the menu drop-down 'Use' in the toolbar.

  If the toolbar is not enabled, go to the view menu and choose Show toolbar.

  Thank you for your response. Now, I found that my problem was actually confused by a number of coincidences.

  I install the printer and run test print page & copied from the scanner and printing from an sd card until the problem of the "band" appeared. When I tried to print from a photo already stored on the computer, it was when he showed first really upward. I ran the Print Tool of doctor and no problems have been reported. Similarly, the printed test page seemed ok even though of course only small colored sections there. Finally, after running test after test, the ink ran out and I had to put in a new cartridge - Eureka! problem disappeared.

  I find, therefore, that I had a faulty cartridge that was causing the problem. I have since run a photo on the 'best quality' on Photo paper and it looks perfect. The high price of the cartridges, it was a costly exercise, but at least I'm now able to print my photos which is what I bought it for.

  When you say small, do you want to say you want to print the image on a smaller paper size, or you want to reduce the size of the image on a selected paper size (a large border around the image)?

  When you use HP ePrint, try to play around with scaling, cropping, and correspond to the options on the page. Sometimes, due to the aspect ration of the differences between the original photo and the size of the chosen medium, it is not always possible to get exactly what you want, but you should be able to get close to you're desired output.

  You need to install the HP ePrint app.

  Getting started with HP ePrint Mobile Apps

  Once you are connected to the network printers, open the eprint application and select the photo or item that you want to print.

  You will then see a preview before printing with advanced options.

  This will allow you to change the paper type and size.

• 7640 ENVY: Envy 7640 cannot print borderless Photos

  For some time, I was able to print borderless photos.  Do not know what has changed, but I can no longer print borderless photos.  I'm printing my Canon camera software as I always have.  When I click on the HP of the app to Canon printer properties I chose as always borderless photo printing.  The pictures come out of the printer with a white border.  I read the other posts discuss the same problem here.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the HP software and that it was not fixed.  I installed HP Photo Creations and that did not help.  Can anyone offer me a different fix please?   I take photos and the frame then and I don't want a border on them.  Someone please help!

  I called HP Tech Support this afternoon.  Could taken tech to control my computer using remote access.  For 90 minutes, he tried different things.  Finally, it uninstalled and reinstalled software suite complements and this corrected the problem.  I tried this 2 weeks ago and it did nothing, but problem is solved!

  The concession was not able to help or assistance HP or these forums. The dealer had the unit for two weeks to run tests and concluded that this is how the unit is. That I do not accept.

  Before holding the camera in I noticed that there is a small amount of adjustment available if you install the software from the CD provided, called 'Toolbox '.

  There is a parameter called "print quality" or something like that and inside, there is a list of parameters and a drop for each parameter. There should be adjustment of-5 to + 5 for each.

  I had some success using these to adjust the output closer to the screen, but not exactly. I'm not after photoshop quality

  Looks like Yes, you remove normal documents. I ran a few tests on my printer ready 7640 want and he knows the size of the photo paper, that I put (from the screen of the printer), but ONLY 4 x 6 prints.
