Do a hard reset of the printer.
Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

I would say for updating the firmware of the printer, to see if that can help, printer All - in - One HP ENVY 4520

  • Want all-in-one 4507: Bluetooth

Please can you let me know which Bluetooth dongles are compatible with this printer please?

    Thank you

    Hey @Helpmeprint1,

Welcome to the Forum from HP Support.  I hope you enjoy your experience here.

I understand that you are curious about what Bluetooth dongles are compatible with your HP ENVY 4507 e-all-in-one printer. I would like to help.

Just for your information, Bluetooth is not supported by this printer.  I see that you are an Android user however - this is for you with a few different printing options thanks to the combination of the unit.

The simplest option available is integrated Android printing solution.  Click here to find out how to use this method.  If you are looking for options to interface a little more, read on.

    • Front panel of the printer, press the icon of webservices/ePrint:
    • If you haven't already done so, activate your webservices and press OK to enable automatic updates to printer
    • When finished your printer will print a sheet of info announced his claimcode (which is the first part of the ePrint address preceding [email protected]).
    • If you were able to activate Web services successfully, you now have two additional printing methods that you can use with your Android device:
    1. ePrint by email - to use this feature, simply send the content you want to print (emails, photos and file attachments) by e-mail to the address @hpeprint.com of your printer.  You can use the email app on your Android device to do and for convenience, you can save the address of your printer to your contacts.  Earlier in this post, remember that the address of your ePrint printer would have appeared at the bottom of the slip of webservices.  Click here to learn more about customizing your ePrint printer's address.
    2. ePrint HP ePrint App - click here to install the HP ePrint app.  I generally recommend this method above others as the ePrint application give you the ability to customize your print jobs, print the photo and files stored on your device and print from the web.  Click here for more information on how to use the HP ePrint app.

Let me know if you have any questions beyond that.  If I helped you to solve the problem, feel free to say "You rock!" by clicking the "Thumbs Up" icon below and by clicking to accept this solution.

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.  Have a great day!

  • OfficeJet 6500 has more All-In-one: network of disabled features

hP 6500 has more all - in-one E710 gives the message "integrated network capabilities have been disabled contact your network administrator" when I go to network menu.  I rest to factory default and get restarted three times and still the same message.  Powered down of every thing.  Same result.

    Hello @Walt101,

I would like to help you today to correct the message 'integrated network features have been disabled. Contact your network administrator' on the front panel of your HP Officejet 6500 a Plus e-All-in-One. This feature is programmed into the printer itself and can be disabled under webserver shipped as part of its security printers.

If you have configured an admin lock on your printer, you must collect the IP address, your printer off and access the printers built-in web server by entering the IP address in the address bar of the internet browser on your computer. Once you access the built-in web server, you can configure the administrator lock settings.

If you have not set up a lock on this machine to 'lock' the network capabilities, I'll have to send you a private Message with the semi-complete programming reset so that you can win your network of return capabilities. Please check your private Messages for instructions.

    Good luck!

  • Want 4500: Option of PDF indexable 4500 want all-in-one software?

    Hello

I just replaced my Photosmart C5280 All-in-one with an fancy 4500 all-in-one printer/scanner. To my horror the 4500 want does not scan to Searchable PDF Format. (I find this very dissapointing and think it should be clearly advertised on the box.)

My Photosmart C5280 OCR software must always be installed on my computer (Windows 8) and there are OCR software on the market. But is it possible (installation, download, purchase, etc.) to get the 'Searchable PDF' option available to the envy of 4500 software of scans? I want to prevent additional steps for each document that I will be scanning.

    Thanks for all the help,

    HenriPe.

    Hello

A lot of HP printers have this add as an option. Customers can download from the site of the 3rd seller, install, then activate. During the activation process, it will check the printer and if in the list, it will activate the software otherwise it won't and the softeware will expire in a week or a month (I don't remember). The 4500 envy and many other printers Envy is not in the list.

Also, customers can purchase the full version of the software, but I think that it is more expensive than buying the printer option. Since many printers is now very cheap, adding even a USB cable, the software will make printers are more expensive.

    Kind regards.

  • Want 4520 all-in-one: 4520 want does not print from internet

The printer prints documents from Word and other programs, but NOT the internet. I checked the network printer is connected to and I am connected to this network. I checked to see if it was a driver issue I saw one when I checked the device. I downloaded it, but it has not made a difference. I do not see a network called Direct 85 HP Envy 4520 series listed in network connections options, but when I select this option, I have no internet connection, only the printer. I want to be able to be on the internet and be able to print from it. Please help, thanks.

    Hello

Looks like you are using the direct wireless feature of your printer that allows your printer generate its own wifi signal and your laptop / PC connect directly to-cela the drawback being that it puts the signal from your laptop / PC to the printer and prevents internet access.

The best way to print wireless while being able to use internet on your device is to connect your printer and your laptop / PC to your home wifi signal. You must disable all direct features active wireless on your printer off and connect to your wifi signal at home (not the 85 HP Envy 4520 series Direct signal).

Pages 36 and 37 of the below user guide shows how to configure the wireless connection.

  • Port HDMI IN WANT all-in-one product 23se-d494

I just bought it at Best Buy. He seems to have a HDMI IN (not out) port, and the seller assured me that I could use, for example, to connect a DVD player or XBox.  I would like to use it to connect a 2nd computer and to switch between the two.  However, I see no way to change the display on the HDMI IN port, and there is no documentation anywhere on this page (or other) functionality of this material.

I would be grateful for any help you can provide.

Thank you, but my computers are connected via a local network.  It works a lot better for me as a peer-to-peer connection, because I have a dozen of devices on my home network.

All I needed was the location of the switch, which toppled the output of the internal graphics card in the flow of the HDMI IN port.  It turns out that it is just below the DVD drive on the side of the system.  It is labeled with cryptic glyphs only, and I thought it was the 'eject' for the DVD player button.  Nope. It inverts the display between the graphical output internal and all that is streaming on the HDMI IN port.

BTW, I spent a VERY frustrating 45 minutes in a session of online help for the so-called with HP support.  First, the tech told me I couldn't use the HDMI port to a 2nd display and was told that I needed an accessory USB HDMI to do.  Five times "she says" it for me.  Of course, I knew that, and in any case this was not what I was asking.  Clearly, she was reading a script and poorly trained.

When she finally understood my question, she told me that what I wanted - display a 2nd computer on my screen output - was impossible (I do it now).  She said that the HDMI IN port would work only with a PS2 or a XBox.  At that time, I discovered the answer just by fiddling with the system.   I gave up and closed the session no need 'help '.  With these "technicians" misinformed, I'm not sure why HP that bothers.

If only HP had thought to have a better online description of the buttons on the right side of the system as the "cookies" I would not have had this problem at all.  Good course, they are of the 'orders '. The question is what that they control!

Thanks for responding in any case.

  • want all-in-one 5532: SD want 5532

I try to scan to the sd card for the first time, but failed to get one of my cards to go in the slot? Very poor help with nowhere! It says sd when I check for the type of card and that's what I have.

can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    Hello

I am lucky to have a craving 553 x Printer series to my office and and SD card. I understand the problem...

    • In my first attempt, with the long edge of the card parallel to the table, I could not insert the card.
    • In my second attempt, with the edge along the map slightly tilted upward (perpendicular to the slope of the printer), I could easily insert the card.

Please try it and let me know how it goes.

  • HP Deskjet f-4272 all-in-one: how to disable printing of the Page number?

    Hello!

My printer always prints the page at the bottom of the pages numbers. How can I disable that?

I use Jarte - free version - which is like WordPad, but with more options such as the spelling checker and the number of words. By default, it is saved as a WordPad document, but by right clicking on the document before you open it (in the list of Documents), the option to open it in Jarte and vice versa.

I found the settings to disable printing page number to this topic in WordPad and Jarte:

In the WordPad document: file > Page Setup > Print Page numbers > (uncheck) > OK.

In the document Jarte: file > Page Settup > header & foot > print header and footer >(Uncheck it) > OK.

    Thank you very much!

  • Envy120 all-in-one not to copy

Our 120 want all-in-one does not copy. Wireless printing works very well. But when I load top something to copy everything that comes out is a full page of dark ink. Is there a light that could be since no light comes from the bar.

    Hi @RetiredRDH

I think that the problem is related to the scanner bulb.

The following document will help use the problem; Copies or Scans have vertical stripes, lines or Black Pages

    I hope this helps.

If the issue persists, I suggest to call HP.  If you are in the Canada, U.S. dial 800-474-6836 or you can Contact HP worldwide.

HP printers usually have a warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase, you can check the warranty using the following if you wish; guarantee cheque.

    I hope this helps.
