Want E1P04AV: usb not working do not envy 15 t-j100

Hi, I would like to submit a request for assistance.

Last week, after that I downloaded an update, all my USB ports stopped working. I tried a restore to prior to this date, and I tried to uninstall the USB driver (and, curiously, two unidentifiable).

Strangely, power flows to the USB ports only in BIOS mode. Once I leave, LED the mouse turns off.

I really want to try a full system restore again. Any ideas?

Hi @Appletank,

Please try a system recovery:

    Hi all!

I have a HP ENVY 15 t-j100 Quad Edition CTO Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR), and most recently updated Windows 10 Saturday (a set of recommended updates), and after parts of the update on my keyboard no longer works. The bottom three rows of keys work fine, but the top row is 1) keys do not work, or 2) keys randomly type other keys (ex. The 'P' key types';  5, 6, t and touch still works well, the rest do nothing). I have Windows 10 build 1511 and connecting an external keyboard (wired and wireless) and keyboards work fine. I ran a system restore to remove all applications, while preserving my files yesterday with success, no improvement. I also cleaned the keyboard with air compressed and removed the oil on the surface with alcohol isopropyl (to friction) (of use). In addition, my updates are currently blocked at 39%. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the drivers for the keyboard through the devices, and update manager different drivers through the HP Web site. I also have many resets have little hard done to solve this problem.

Any help to fix this would be appreciated! I don't know what to do!

  • Software BlackBerry BB link 1.2.2.13: Z10 is shown "trendy" on USB, not via Wi - Fi

Windows 7 Ultimate x 64, all current patches, firewall Windows 7 standard of Microsoft with the rules set up by BB link 1.2.2.13; no anti-virus (MS Windows Defender and MS enhanced mitigation experience Toolkit 4.1). PC user account is user regular, not administrative.

Z10 BB 10.2.0.1803. (New first time BB user.)

Two devices on the same subnet of Wi - Fi home, IPv4 in 10.x.x.x address space assigned by DHCP. 'Updating of the devices' on BB link shows correct that peripheral named Z10.

Problem: BB link installed first worked on USB and Wi - Fi, i.e. peripheral was shown as 'connected' to the BB link once I had put in place the USB link, I was able to navigate Z10 volumes on PC and PC link shared folders BB appeared in the file manager BB Z10 even when the USB cable is removed.

However, it did not last more than a few days (I keep a Wi - Fi connection on both phone and PC, this last is turned on and off several times a day), but I managed after fighting re-establish the Wi - Fi connection in both directions between the two devices several times. No consistent recipe can't find yet chance just silent.

But now the navigation (and synchronization of files/music/etc.) works only PC--> Z10 and * only * USB connected, BB watch Z10 disconnected when not link USB connected. also displays the shared folders is no longer under the name of PC in the Z10 file manager when USB connected!

Tried to BB link uninstall, restart, clear all records link BB config, restart, reinstall link BB restart, connect to BB ID on link BB, configure access to the USB device, restart, try Wi - Fi access to the device to PC: bad luck, the navigation works only PC--> Z10.

Can anyone help with this issue? (I've never used BBM before--no one among my friends and family use phones BB - but maybe you can direct your PIN messages and we can talk - all pins will be treated in the strictest confidence.)

The Z10/PC BB two-way file sharing is a really useful feature, I want to make it work!

I'm sorry that the problem still persists.

The options of resting to try (I don't know whether you did or not):
    1. install BlackBerry link in another PC that never installed BB or BBDS link to know is that BB link works well here. If other works in this PC, means your recent PC is the problem.
    2. clean uninstall link in your recent PC.
3 restoration of the PC system date of your link was fine (I did once and solved the problem).
    4 reset.

If still fails, you can contact BlackBerry support at http://helpblog.blackberry.com/ to get a formal support. Forums Guru is welcome to another direction. Thank you.

  • Device USB not recognized - device connected USB has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it

I have a HP Pavilion dv4 laptop running Windows 7 Home Edition Premium and the USB ports worked well for a HP deskjet printer and an older Casio digital camera. Then one day, the laptop decided not to recognize the Casio digital camera and gave the error message "USB device not recognized" and also indicated that the device connected to the computer has malfunctioned. This prompted me to buy a new digital camera Canon. Well, a new camera has not fixed the problem. Now, anything that is connected to one of the 2 ports USB will not be recognized by my laptop. Help!  I am at a loss to understand this.  I tried using Microsoft suggested below:

Suggestion 1: the problem with USB devices, uninstall and reinstall all USB controllers. This allows controllers to recover the port USB of his condition does not respond.
USB controllers represent the USB ports in Device Manager.

    a. Click Start, type Manager of devices in the search box of start and press ENTER.
    b. expand Bus USB controllers.
Note: you may scroll through the list to find this point.
    c. the first USB controller under Bus USB controllers right click and then click on uninstall to remove it.
    d. Repeat steps above for each controller USB is listed under Bus USB controllers.
    e. restart the computer. After the computer starts, Windows will automatically check for changes on the hardware and reinstall all USB controllers that you uninstalled.
    f. check the USB device to see if it works.

This has not fixed the problem.  Then the Device Manager, I tried to update the drivers on all the USB controllers and root hubs. While some may have received software updates downloaded, it still has not corrected the problem of unrecognized USB device after the computer is restarted.  I hope that someone knows the solution to this situation and can pass it on to me. Thanks for reading and any help display.

Read previous messages revealed the solution for USB devices not recognized on my HP Pavilion as well as several other laptop models.  Shut down the computer and remove the battery and wait for about 15 minutes. Reinstall the battery and restart the computer.  USB ports are working to download pictures from my digital camera from Canon and charging a cell phone, etc...   I hope it helps others with this problem!

  • HP LaserJet P1102: USB not recognized during installation of HP LaserJet P1102

I have a Sony Vaio VPCEH computer laptop with Windows 7 and when I run the disk I got with the printer on my laptop, that the installation procedure works in what concerns the section "Install printer Software". When you are prompted to turn on the printer and connect the cable USB to the laptop it says 'USB not recognized '.  I tried all 4 slots USB into my laptop but the USB still appears as an unknown device with an exclamation point in a yellow triangle. I searched internet solutions and tried to uninstall the unknown device in Device Manager and restart the installation with the disc, I also tried clicking on the unknown device driver software update but it says the software driver is up to date and still, it shows as an unknown device and is not recognized. I also tried to uninstall the HP software from the disc on my laptop and that reinstall but nothing has worked. I felt for over 2 weeks now and have not been able to use it because of this problem and I really need for University, so I would be very happy if someone could please give me a solution to this problem

    Hi @Janemaguire,

Have you tried another USB cable?

Because the printer is not detected on the Mac, it may be the USB port of the printer.

What happened when you tried to install the printer on Mac?

    Error messages?

What is the model Laserjet P1102w?

    Let me know. Thank you.

  • Envy 15 t-j100 card reader does not

I have a HP ENVY 15 t-j100 Quad Edition running Windows 7. His card reader does not work. When I insert an SD card, I get a message that the device is not installed correctly. Windows prompts you to update me the driver, so I let him, but he can't find the driver. In devices with SD card inserted, Manager it shows a symbol in the "Other devices" section "hard drive"with a yellow "!"  The State of the device reads:

"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

To find a driver for this device, click Update driver. »

I tried to update the driver from there, but still no driver is reported to be found.

Furthermore, Device Manager indicates that the Realtek PCIE card reader works properly. I updated the driver using sp66065.exe, but there is no difference. The card reader is still not read, nor is it a drive letter appear to the inserted card.

If I disable the Realtek PCIE card reader, then the "other devices" "Hard drive" in the Device Manager goes. But the card reader does not work as long. If I activate the card reader, the same error comes back with a yellow '! ' under 'other devices' "Hard drive" in the Device Manager.

Could you please tell me how to resolve this situation? Thank you in advance!

    jacksan1

    You are the very welcome!

Oh... It's big, happy that the problem was solved after recovery

It would very probably be updates of Windows.

Try to create a system restore manually each time before performing any installation of update or something important. You can restore to a previous restore points you have created, if a problem occurs after an update.
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/697-system-restore-point-create.html

You can also create a shortcut to a button in your office so that you can easily create manual restore - Option 1 point in the following tutorial:
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/494-system-restore-point-shortcut.html

    System Restore: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html

I would also change the Windows Manual Automatic Update settings.
This must be done in the HP support assistant program too - its control panel.

    I hope this helps.

    Have a good weekend
    God bless you.

    Dear concerned

My PC: Model: 20-a220l > HP Pavillion all-in - one PC series 20,.

    Operating system: WIndows 7

AV - SS USB not detected by any modem or USB key left right back side - USB 2.0 work.

    Hello:

You can have a TI USB controller.  See if this driver USB3 works...

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=CP-104401-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&OS=4063&product=5192630&sw_lang=

If this driver does not work either, please complete the following steps so I can know what model USB3 controller motherboard in your PC is using.

Go to Device Manager, find the other devices category, then click on the USB controller needing drivers.

Then click on the Details tab in the upper part of the window USB controller.

Now, you see a drop-down list of property and it is set by default to the Description of the unit.

Drop down on it and select the second item in the list (Hardware ID).

After the first string of characters you see in the window.

  • "Usb not recognized" keeps blinking and endangered

Hello, the notebook of a colleague, she has the message "USB not recognized" that appears for a few seconds, then disappear. Sometimes it will come back repeatedly, sometimes he disappears for long periods of time. When I was reviewing its system, is come/gone several times, disappeared for a few minutes, then flashed again once again.

She uses a laptop HP ProBook 4310 S. It uses two USB ports. One for its wireless mouse and the other to a Kensington Displaylink (allows for laptop > Displaylink > external monitor via the USB port), who worked without interruption throughout my check.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi phill.

  • Why am I suddenly "USB not recognized, one of the devices USB has malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize"

Hi all. If anyone out there in Cyber Land can solve this problem for me so I've personally you will issue an eight-pack of ice-cold beer (or a bottle of wine for the ladies lol)...

I'll try not to waffle too guys, so here's...

Right my PC running Windows XP. I also have itunes installed on my PC (I have an iphone 4). Upward until yesterday my iphone and itunes were working well, (once I plugged my iphone in the itunes USB port recognised that my iphone was plugged and synchronization was fine etc.).

But now when I plug my iphone to PC to sync with itunes, I get a pop up box on the lower right part of the screen that reads... "USB not recognized one of the USB devices has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize."

After visiting about 5 different sites now "Ways to solve this problem", believe it or not, I still have the problem bloody! :(

A site proposed shutdown PC and unplug it from the power supply, then plug it back start-up and back... this as did not work!
The other they say that I should go to Device Manager, uninstall all the USBs then restart... it did not work either.
    Tried a system restore
    Tried to reinstall itunes

When I check the names USB in Device Manager, there is one who reads unknown device. I am literally pulling what's left of my hair now. I tried to solve this problem for almost 2 days now and still no joy. That's why no matter what input you guys would be very appreciated. I'm no PC Wizard, so please, don't think you're patronizing me if you break down things step by step for me.

Thank you comrades, cordially, Freddy frustrated. :)

Another said I should go to Device Manager, uninstall all the USBs and restart.

Usually, this works... but can be very dangerous, unless you have a PS/2 keyboard.

I also assume that you have tried all other USB ports on the computer. tried a verified USB device (for example, a flash drive) in the USB usually when you plug in your iPhone. and I tried your iPhone in another computer (I know it's rare for an error message Windows really means what he says, but sometimes the material lacks).

Is the charge of the iPhone when it is connected to the USB port (I don't think)?  This happened to me recently, but a reboot fixed it.  I guess that that happened to you.

I guess that you don't see the error messages in Device Manager or you must declare them.

You can uninstall all USB devices that do not exist as follows:

    • Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
    • Enter the following command and press enter

    Set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices = 1

    • Start the Device Manager by typing the following in the same command prompt window

    devmgmt.msc

    • In Device Manager, click the view menu and select "Show hidden devices".
    • You should see a category just after "Non-Plug and Play drivers" named "other devices."  Chances are that there will be a big exclamation yellow mark beside it.  When you expand the "other devices" you should see several non identified "USB devices."  Uninstall all this.
    • Reboot (with the iPhone NOT connected).
  • Device USB not recognized (malfunction)

I went on my external hard drive and an error message came - USB not recognized - device due to a malfunction. I tried switching off all voltage and turn support but still the same voltage. Then I went to print something and the same message came. However, I used my printer today without any problem. I don't know what happened. Advice please? Thank you very much. Aide-de-camp

Hello ~ thanks for the reply.

Just to say that I read somewhere switch all switch off and leave it for half an hour - then turn on everthing. Miraculously - it worked!
