Want Phoenix 810: No BeatsAudio / no Audio don't Post update Win10

I've updated to Windows 10 in late June. I've never used my cd/dvd drive, but when I tried, it does not play my cd. I also realized that I had NO Audio when I played YouTube videos, or when I was watching videos on FaceBook or any other Web site. Yesterday while attending a GoToWebinar, you gave me a choice of Format Audio, and I got SOUND! However, I could not repeat this success on YouTube, etc. I use the headphone jack on the top Front of my Tower of envy. I get Audio if I plug in headphones for rear outlet, but I want to know what is the problem with the front Plug and my CD player. I tried updating my Audio drivers and anything else I could find, both on Windows and HP Support. Please: HELP!

You are the very welcome.

If you enter the product number of your PC in the search box on support site, it should direct you to the exact Phoenix 810 model support page.

  • Install the Windows own 8.1 to want Phoenix 810-230qe?

I just bought a HP Envy Phoenix 810-230qe with Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.  It's my first HP system and so far I was impressed by the HP control process, fast delivery and the computer itself from what I can tell so far.   However, I have a question.  How must we do to do a clean install of Windows 8.1, without all the additional software that comes standard with the system?

With my previous Dell systems, I have always asked for a Windows DVD and I downloaded the necessary additional drivers from Dell.  I bought a set of HP System Recovery install discs are expected to be able to do a cleanup, but unless I'm missing something, I don't see any options for loading just the Windows operating system and the related system drivers.  I see there are a few available through HP suspport drivers, but not all that are necessary and I see still no way to do just installing the OS.

How is that possible?  Thank you...

    Hello

You have the Win 8.1 drivers on your PC now located in the folder in C:\SWSETUP.

Copy this folder to an external drive for use later when necessary.

I don't know if you can download the 8.1 Win. ISO from Microsoft with an OEM product key. You couldn't do that when downloading win 8. You need a detail or, I think, a upgrade product key.

If you have a retail key to win 8 you can Win 8.1 free download here.

I would like to delete the stuff you want via programs and features and then create acustom Refresh Image. Then, if you need to recover, use the IRC with no expansion of the seller. Create an image of Microsoft System or use third-party imaging software.

  • No Audio - HP Envy Phoenix 810-145QE

Not audio on the back or the upper connector, using the "Troubleshooting" of the message, it is that no device is connected. My headphone and line connection of the speakers work fine on my old HP computer. HDMI audio output does not work, but I really don't want to use this video out all the time. I tried to reinstall the driver, who was the same as this computer is less than a month. Why she even check to a device 'connected' to the audio output, that kind of thing is just a matter for additional problems.

    Hello BobinLA,

I understand that you are having problems with audio in the upper rear connectors on your desktop HP ENVY Phoenix 810. In view of the new way in which this computer is I think it would be better if you contact HP Technical Support. OK I need help with my HP Envy Phoenix 810-130qe desktop computer. My pc came with Windows Pro 8.1 and it had an audio panel where you can set the audio beats. Kurt, welcome to the forum.

My first thought is a defect power supply unit (PSU).  If you have access to another power supply, it would be good to try.  It is difficult to solve the problems when the computer continues to run.  Here's a guide that will give you suggestions before replacing the power supply.  If none of the suggestions to solve your problem, you should contact the HP customer assistance service.  You want to use the warranty.

  • Want to Phoenix 810-330qe: upgrade, update necessary graphics card power supply?

I'm a Phoenix 810 - 330qe, currently equipped with the stock Nividia GTX 745. I bought a graphics card GTX 970 upgrade for better gameplay and use of possible VR helmet. I have not yet installed, but wonder if my power supply must be upgraded to handle it all. If so, will what power take?

The new card is spec'd to draw 145W and recommend a power of 500W. The 745 GTX is spec'd respectively 55W and 300W. The current stock PSU is rated at 500W, but do not know if that pushes its limit. The only other setting I had installed an SSD alongside that of stock.

    Help suggestions, thank you.

I would upgrade the PSU, considering that you've also added an SSD.

  • HP ENVY Phoenix 810-445qe: specifications of need on 14.79 GB "Disk 1" labelled "Datadrive1 (e).

I spent the last few days setting up a brand new HP ENVY Phoenix 810 - 445qe I ordered from HP.com. (Information system down in the case, it may be necessary.)

I did what all the new owners of the system should do after you set up the system: I did a DVD repair system, and am about to do my first image with Windows 7 (64 bit) backup.

Of course, when you perform an image backup (which is like making a photocopy of your hard drive to a point in time) you can not store this backup on the same drive you're imaging, for the obvious reason that you can not write to disk at the same time you are Imaging it. If the image backup dialog box gave me three options of storage location:

    (1) Datadrive1 (E)
    (2) WD MyBook external hard drive (G)
    (3) Blu - Ray / DVD / CD drive (F)

I was curious about the "Datadrive1" because I didn't know that's where! I don't me read something about it, then I went to control panel > system and security > ' Create and format hard disk partitions "(under administrative tools on the system menu and security - or the type of management of the computer in the Start Menu) to take a look at the drives and partitions.

This computer was said to come with a SATA 3 TB and because disk 0 is close to 3 TB, with a labeled 100 MB partition "EFI System Partition" a 2779,01 GB NTFS partition labeled "OS (C)" and an "HP RECOVERY (D)." 15,28 labeled GB NTFS partition So, there we have the bootloader partition, the partition of operating system Windows 7 and the HP recovery partition.

But there is also a 'disc 1' labeled 'DATADRIVE1 (E)"formatted as one 14.79 GB NTFS partition. I was surprised to see this data disc, because one of my complaints about HP computers in the past (or at least those available through Best Buy) was that they were always set up with one disc for the operating system and data. (It is always a bad idea to host your data on the same drive that your operating system, because the system disks get use more heavy and are more prone to failure.)

I recognized my Western Digital My Book 1 TB drive disc 2, entitled ' My Book (G) ' and formatted as a single partition NTFS of GB 931,48. It is the external drive only, I am informed, plugged into one of the USB 3.0 ports.

So I called the support for questions on disk 1. Where is he? Is what kind of drive? Is what brand? Etc, etc. HP support officer did not know the answer to that! She told me that my system only comes with an internal hard drive and therefore that * must * be an external drive belonging to me. I have an external USB drive connected but it's G drive.

The only USB devices connected physically are: dongle USB wireless keyboard and mouse from HP; My WD My Book drive; and a HP Photosmart C5180 all-in-One printer with nothing plugged into its card reader, who can't stand not anything on the order of 14.79 GB anyway.

I would like to know the details about this DATADRIVE1, because) I don't really know what it is and if I should write data there and b) do not know how stable the device is. Thanks in advance for your help.

  • HP ENVY Phoenix 810-230qe: PC upgrade as a whole

    Hi all!

I am writing to talk about upgrading my PC, a HP ENVY Phoenix 810 - 230qe, as a whole. Initially, I bought a PC with a FX-8320 and a little sad back in 2013 graphics card and bought a carepack with her. Once the graphics card has failed and has been replaced three times in a single year, I called HP support and a nice case manager (thank you Lorraine!) hooked me up with this one - a k 4770, 12 GB of RAM and a beautiful 270 r9. However, I'm not comfortable with the temperatures of the PC under load because there is only a single fan for all of your PC and it is blocked by water from Asetek 92 mm cooling for the CPU package.  So, I was looking to upgrade the PC as a whole around my birthday later this year. I had planned on keeping the CPU, GPU, RAM and 2 TB HDD, but I was left confused - the PC came with a 16GB mSATA 'Cache', and I know not whether or not the 2 TB of HARD drive or the mSATA drive has my Windows OS on it - if it has Windows, I'm having a few problems. A photo of two devices are here. Furthermore, I don't know how the CPU is. I was wondering if anyone knew or not that the CPU has been mounted normally or if it has been welded on - motherboard was made by MSI and the model name is "MS-7826.

If someone wants to see my upgrade of the list or make suggestions, it can be found here. I hope I can get some tips on the PC as well as help with my questions!

    Adam, welcome to the forum.

I'll add my comments in a space next to your questions.

What you are wanting to do can work.  However, whenever you have high end components in a matter of smaller size, you will have problems with the HEAT.  You're right to worry.  Heat will cause all components to fail prematurely.  If you try to move the motherboard for another case, you must ensure that the holes in the match of the motherboard the accessory in the case.  In addition, some of the connectors cannot be the same as in a case of HP.  HP has their motherboards designed specifically for them.

  • Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver update for HP ENVY Phoenix 810-135qe desktop

    Hello

I recently bought a HP ENVY Phoenix 810-135qe desktop computer, during a performance of the construction in the auditor of updates to HP program that it is announcing the following update available for my machine and I was wondering if there were more details about what he actually did and/or updates/patches?

    Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver

    Description
This package provides the driver for Intel Chipset SATA RAID solutions and SATA AHCI Controller in models supported that are running a supported operating system.

    Communicate details
    Exit the: 2014-01-23
    File name:sp65114.exe [1/1, 17.92 M]
    A Version12.8.2.1000 Rev.
    Compatibility:
    Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

    Fix/development
    -Provides original drivers

As you can see the description of correction and improvement really provided no details as to what is fixed or improved.

If I need to apply this patch, it would be nice to understand a little better what to expect and what is fixed and/or improvements.  You have to forgive me because I'm old school and I usually generally follow the routine "if it ain't broke don't fix it".  I'll do what it takes well so I have a better understanding of what is going to happen in the case where updating mess something inadvertently.

    Thank you

    Hello:

What is the technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology software.

    http://www.Intel.com/support/chipsets/IMSM/sb/CS-020784.htm

It is not necessary to install the update if you do not want.

I doubt you will notice a difference in performance if you have it installed.

It is unlikely that all the problems would result in the update (however could apply Murphy's law), but like you said... "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

When I turn on the computer the little indicator white wireless on the front of the computer lights up almost instantly.  I see my home network with the power of the full signal and two laptops and my Iphone right next to the computer to connect to the same network with full signal strength.
