  I want 110 e - everything - in - a D411a - currently, print all the pages of my iMac (OSX El Capitan - v 10.11.6) test, but the printer shows as inactive when I try to print documents or emails etc.

  Loading the latest version of the software and drivers, but without success.

  Any guidance appreciated.

  I understand that you can't print from iMac running to your craving for 110 El Capitan. In General, idle indicates that the printer is ready and waiting for a print job. Given the efforts that you have already done, I recommend resetting your printing system, repair disk permissions and then re-adding the printer (instructions to follow). If this resolves the issue please click Accept as Solution button below; If not, let me know and I will do everything I can to help.

  Reset the printing system

  1. Click on the Apple icon and then click on System Preferences.
  2. In the hardware section, click on Printers and Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/Scan dialog box opens.
  3. Do a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left panel and then click on reset printing system...
  4. Click OK to confirm the reset.
  5. Type the name and the correct password.
  6. Click OK to reset the printing system. The printers and Faxes dialog box shows any selected printer

  Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

  Repair disk permissions

  • Click on your desktop so that it is written next to the Apple Finder icon, and then click OK (you will see this next to the Finder after file, edit and view).
  • Under Go, click Applications.
  • In Applications, select utilities.
  • In the Utilities folder, you will see disk utility, double-click on this icon to open the disc utilities.
  • Click on your hard drive, and then click first aid. Click OK to allow it to run.

  Once the repair is completed, restart the computer and add the printer to the back.

  When you add the printer, please ensure that you use the HP driver.

  1. Select Add another printer or Scanner
  2. Select the printer you are adding and next to the 'use' select the printer driver. As you can see from the image below, AirPrint driver will be automatically selected by default. You will need to choose your printer driver instead. Using the HP driver will help to isolate the problem, if the problem persists.

• Want to 110 printer using a huge amount of ink

  I recently bought a printer Envy 110 and since buying it I printed only 374 pages but I used five black and three color cartridges! For me it's huge, especially when they cost $25 each for standard size and twice for the extra-large size. I print in project most of the time, and I print only best quality when I have to. I do not print pictures in color, items or powerpoint presentations, I did once and it was as if you could watch the ink flow out of the cartridge!

  Is this suppose to use much ink? I would never buy this product if I knew it was going to be this thirst for ink.

  Can you please make some suggestions to help reduce the amount of ink that I use or y at - it something wrong with my printer? Thank you.

  My only suggestion would be to contact the HP Support at 1.800.474.6836.  As you bought the printer 2 months ago, it should still be under warranty.

  I have an ADVENT Monza C1 laptop and an HP Photosmart Premium C309g (all-in-one) printer. I recently needed to uninstall my printer and now I'm having problems trying to re - install. When I troubleshoot my PC I have a message "the ENVY 110 series driver not installed. When I click on 'fix this problem', it cannot find the driver. I also tried installing HP printer Assistant and this was also unsuccessful.

  Thanks again for your response, however I found the solution to my problem turned out being the need to download and run a "hotfix" that I found in the HP "solving a problem" with windows 7. The installation of the printer then continue automatically to run for and complete successfully.

  Try to connect without the '1' in front of the 10-digit number, if you are not already using the 1, place it in front of the fax number. If this does not work, try disabling ePrint, and then put it back slot under the web services menu. This menu is in setting up the icon on the front panel that looks like a key. Then after that tap on the icon of webservices (the one that looks like a piece of paper with a target behind him) and then re - print info/report Web services page and then try to connect again.

  You may be able to get the foam baffle of a music/provider store.

  I don't remember what was available in the G4 series for monitoring. Make sure that the CIM providers are enabled. Tab Configuration / software / advanced settings. I don't remember what article it is in, but there it is.

  I would also add a temperature alarm remotely. It takes a few minutes for the temperature enough to cause damage, particularly in a small room.

  110 film scanning is not supported with CanoScan 5600F.  You can try scanning with thumbnail off, but there is no guarantee that this will work:

  1. open the program by MP Navigator EX.

  2. tap on Scan/import, and then click the movie.

  3. Select the use of the box of the scanner driver, and then click Open Scanner Driver.

  4. click on Advanced Mode.

  5. next to the Source Select, choose the Film.

  6. click on the thumbnail button in the upper left corner of ScanGear to disable this display.

  7. click on preview.

  8. manually crop the images.

  9. click on scan.
