Is there a method to add another connection sata for the 4th disc, or is the choice between a 4th disc or a dvd?

    Sure.

You can add a PCIe x 1 SATA controller card to your PC. Which will increase the number of available ports.

See the research I've done shows availability and prices. You should do a search the same locally for prices in your region of the world.

As Tom SC replied, you must contact the company that manufactured your computer.  In general, the ports HDMI on most computers is an out-bound port, send video / digital audio output.

You should probably use a video capture card that can capture from HDMI source,

I bought my HP Envy 700 - 275 d early this year and recently I have thought about having a Setup dual monitor. Currently, I use a HP w2207h monitor DVI to VGA Converter and it was pluged in the port of the primary display monitor.

There are a few questions, I would like to know about whether the model of the computer and the monitor using the Im is able to Setup dual monitor

    1. on the back of the computer, the audio and microphone. There's two DVI ports which are sealed with wit the lable "do not remove" h black plastic. I want to know why this two dvi ports were sealed and then not to remove, and if they can be used or not? See image example http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/826/ftrp.jpg

    2. I was told by friends that I might have a configuration dual monitor by plugging a monitor on the hdmi port and the other to dvi port. It work? If not, what are the options for bi-ecrans on this computer?

    3. I was also told by another friend that I would need to buy a DVI monitor with an active DisplayPort adapter is delicate and have many variations.

  • HDMI port defective by design?

Same problem here - I want to (Oh, man I need) to be able to use my HDMI port to make presentations on an external monitor.

I recently converted to the technosystem to Apple after being forced by the former employer to abandon in favor of Windows Apple more than 20 years ago.  I like how the iOS works (for the most part) and this terminal is for access to tools based on unix, but for something as simple as a faulty HDMI port - by office? -not what I expected to get my new Macbook Pro.  Laptop my wife 4 + years Windows has an HDMI port that works very well. But my new Macbook Pro?  Nada

This is not only annoying, but also effects me professionally. I need to be able to use some external displays of various flavours to present my services to potential customers.

Come on Apple, you can do better than that!

    (1) not talking about apple, it is a form of voluntary

    (2) iOS for smart devices, OS X for laptops, desktops, iMacs, Mini

    (3) you need a lightning to HDMI converter

  • New iMac using a HDMI port

I am looking to buy a new computer (preferably an iMac) and I want to connect to my apple TV up to it, but I can't understand what iMac Apple TV supports HDMI ports and those who did not. Please help me to find the most recent iMac that has a HDMI port taking supported the Apple TV. Thank you.

None of the new iMacs have HDMI ports, Thunderbolt ports, which can be converted into HDMI using an adapter. However, there is really nothing you can do by connecting an Apple TV to a Mac via HDMI.

Apple TV video outputs, and the ports on the Mac are also outputs, not inputs.

What exactly do you think that you can accomplish by doing that?

  • HP ENVY Notebook m7: BIOS update messed up my HDMI port

I put the laptop to 'sleep' last night and some automatic updates happened the day after. Today, the HDMI port does not work. I did a recovery of pilots, but that does not solve the problem. Then I went to update the BIOS, but I have installed version is F35 and what was available was an F11 Rev A version (the confusing part is that the F11 version had a newer version which date of the F35, 3 months). In any case, the option to install the F11 Rev A Bio was not available, making only one port USB of the BIOS recovery of other computers.

Help! I use HDMI for display on a big TV to run i, u; lator and watch TV Online.

  • PC has seen TV opt w/no HDMI port. How connect us PC to TV HDMI ports?

I got rid of sattillite TV and now regret. Although we can watch television on PC seemingly impossible to connect PC to TV w / HDMI HDMI Cable w/no PC port. Confused: this License 1 old PC has an option 'View TV' with no option of connectivity between PC and TV.  The TV of old (7 years) has two! HDMI ports that must mean that the TV is more advanced than the HP PC?   Will be back the 15' HDMI Cable, flat ROKU box and antenna TV, relegated to watching TV while squnting to the monitor, the ear to the speakers who are not that great?  And all for the simple costs $ 2 per episode paid to amazon.com editors satallite $80 MB. is no longer an option.  any suggestions? PC is TS 420

I'm a little confused about why you need to connect the PC to the TV if you have a Roku. You must be able to use an HDMI cable to connect the Roku directly to the TV and connect Roku to the Internet via your WiFi router (or with an ethernet cable, if you have a Roku 3).

I personally don't have cable or satellite, either, I just use Netflix and Hulu Plus. My installation includes a Blu - Ray player that streams video (similar to Roku), connected to my TV with an HDMI cable. I also have a TV antenna for over-the-air channels (ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, Fox), connected to the TV with a coaxial cable. My PC is not connected to everything; However, if I want, I can watch streaming video on my computer (using the same accounts that I use on my TV/Blu-Ray player). The only thing I can't do is to watch live TV on my PC.

I don't think there's a way to connect an external monitor to your TouchSmart. Depending on the exact model, it might come with a TV tuner that you could plug in box or antenna TNT, cable and satellite so that you can watch TV on your PC.

Y at - it something that I'm missing that requires the use of the PC as an intermediary?

No way dude you can't connect the laptop to HD TV if the laptop doesn't supports HDMI port.

  • HDMI port

I have presario CQ3240AN and you want to replace the graphics card with one with an HDMI port. Please could you tell what specs I should look to buy a new card?

    You are the very welcome.

You should be fine if all you want to do is plug in a TV and video streams.

The map will only draw a 29 Watts max.

    http://www.GeForce.com/hardware/desktop-GPUs/GeForce-gt-610/specifications

The specification for the AMD Radeon HD 6450 (your other option) ask a 400W P/S and HP puts in their popular business factor of the small Elite 8200 and 8300 PC with 240W P/S.

This card draws a max of 31 Watts.

This model doesn't have even a cooling fan = no noise and no fan to stop working.

Read the comments.  The first examiner running one in their PC with a 250W P/S.

  • Type of HDMI port for y50

I understand hdmi ports can be different and may have different resolution outputs for external displays. Basically, I want to have my cintiq 27qhd view full 2560 x 1440 resolution and I was wondering if my HDMI port would display this monitor to this resolution or simply the standard high definition 1080 p. I checked everywhere for this information and I called lenovo but nobody seems to know whay type of hdmi port, it's specifically.

No idea where you found this information but thank you! Don't know exactly how hertz works, but is 30 something hertzs who can run photoshop smoothly or is not large 30 hertz?

If you refer to the maintenance of the hardware specifications manual unit has a file specification of hdmi 1.4 which is what I said earlier to have a resolution of 3840 x 2160. The photo is a snapshot of the reference of the product to the y50.

Just google for hdmi 1.4 specifications get more details.

  • Pavilion DV6 and HDMI port

I have a HP Pivilion DV6, WF536AV running Windows 7 (64 bit) product number and see that it has a HDMI port.  Looking at the manual it does not say much about the HDMI port.  What is a port of entry, exit, or both?  I want to do is to have a HDMI connection via a cable TV box and watch TV on this laptop.  Is this possible?

    Hello

By some funny/compliants rules, almost all laptops have only ports HDMI output, including your machine. No, it of impossible, you can't connect out - to - PC, do not get anything.
