Want to 750se: 750se capable of M.2/NVMe use envy?

I just ordered the 750se envy with the chipset Nvidia 970 6700 k GPU 4 GB and 16 GB of Ram DDR4.  Is this wildly motherboard take atvantage of M.2/NVMe SSD technology.  If this isn't the case, I have to cancel my order.  I see no reason to buy a desktop computer well spec'd and have the old SSD storage speed.

Thanks in advance for any idea,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

I predicted that would be shown a question ask on the support of m2 for the motherboard of the PC that you have ordered.  I have yet to see any definitive information say yes or say no.  The m2, socket type slot 3 is on the motherboard, but the question remains only the BIOS load NVMe.

I agree with your situation with the purchase of a PC with an unknown feature but having still commissioning in place. HP needs to do some testing and then must support such a configuration, which also means that a SSD m2 configuration and device is a classifiable option.

If I were in your shoes, I'd let the delivered PC that HP has a long return during the holiday period. This should give you enough time to "kick the tires" on this PC.
