• First CC crashes on a regular basis, what I am doing wrong?

  I use first for about 2 years now, I agree with CC and update applications as they are available. I use a thin maxed out macbook pro model that is my main workhorse, I play on it and only use photoshop and first.

  I cannot complete a unique project at LEAST a fatal accident causing corrupted project files most of the time wasting hours to a few days of work. I'm ready for any call, she leaves and switch to anything but first.

  What worries me is that I didn't do nothing demanding, very basic editing and calibration using the magic bullet of the colors. I keep each project on its own external SSD. I make sure that first is the only application running when I'm editing. Lots of local disk space and outdoor space. This has been a recurring problem that started on my MBP of previous generation, when I started using first.

  I don't update first to the project Center, learned the hard way at the end and be updated when they are available. I have no formal training in first so I'm starting to think that I must be a fool and am not using the software correctly.

  Anyone else have the same problem? Is there any common user related problems I can be initially unintentionally? Any help or idea would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information do not hesitate to ask. Thank you.

  Hi Jon,

  Because you are using a Mac, I recommend the following:

  • Correctly set the permissions of file from Adobe: first Pro CC, CC 2014, 20141 freeze at startup or crashing everything working (Mac OS X 10.9 and later)
  • Define project settings > General > Renderer for the Mercury Playback Engine (OpenCL) GPU acceleration.
  • Basket of your media cache
  • Inspect your Mac HD > library > QuickTime and remove all unnecessary components. My QuickTime folder is completely empty.

  I'm curious: you have 7 FCP or FCP X installed?

  FireFox hangs on me regularly with 100% CPU usage. I have add all and disabled plugin. In safe mode I don't have the problem. Don't know what to do next because I have disabled all add-ons and plug-ins.

  OK I fixed that by disabling 'Use hardware acceleration when available' in the 'Advanced' Options I had to restart FireFox for the changes to take effect.

  When I load up and press the power button:

  The power led lights up, the wireless light is orange

  And nothing else works spin - Fan of no. - No. HD - white screen.

  Num Lock and caps do not light upward.

  I removed the back and didn't see all the connectors loose, I unplugged the battery, removed the RAM and even wifi card.

  Put the battery connector back on and same thing.

  (FWIIW: it is a laptop with an internal battery)

  This would cause bad fan?

  (If not, my swag is - the motherboard is toast)

  In this case I suggest you set up a separate account for install in Thunderbird and remove accounts that you want to use via your other email client Thunderbird.

  E-mail doesn't 'go' for a mail client; they are requested by an e-mail client and returned by a server. The only not to get some messages in an e-mail client is to put only not to ask.

  I use LV 2009 SP1 and have worked for several days and nights on a XML parser.

  The code uses a lot of recursive algorithms and everything was tested yesterday and worked OK.

  Continued work today, all of the code yesterday still worked up to a point in time (no id why) it just stopped, LV hangs and crashes then momentarely.

  Boost LV, open code, run only an associated XML VI and I blocked again...

  When LV falls down, its CPU usage is close to 0% and the memory usage about 128 MB of RAM (by default) so nothing fancy there.

  It seems that the parser XML of LV is dead? I tried to locate the source of the accident, but every time I think "this must be it" by isolating part of the code, blocking something else - but still associated with XML.

  I was happy to see that the work is progressing, and now I have come to a stopping point.

  I'm now 'fix' LV via Add/Remove Programs console. No idea if this will do anything.

  I must say that I have LV8.6.1 and LV2009SP1 installed together. I haven't opened that one version of LV at the time, and for this project, I'm under LV2009 since last week.   Last night I solved the problem and indeed the other topic you mentioned is correct. It's actually a premature closure of the DOM reference that triggered the LV crashing. Very hard to debug because I use it in a recursive algorithm, but I managed to locate the error.

  LV reinstalled, but it kept if crush on so I was sure that it is thanks to my coding :-)

  I have to remember myself from time to time that all errors are human...

  Glad to see I'm not the only one dealing with these problems so thanks again Ajmal!

• Firefox crashes on a daily basis in container plugin on Facebook

  OK - I searched and google.

  This happened with FF 46 32 bit, 64 bit, Win 7 32-bit, 64-bit and windows 10 portable. It happens in safe mode. It has all the plugins up to date. I t has delete everything except necessary and hard add ins - such as Flash, Acrobat Reader, etc. It happens on computers with a lot of RAM (16 GB). Curiously, he can longer bad with safe mode, and the plugin container is run-a-way. In normal mode, it seems that plugin container is under control and Firefox itself runs Amok.

  -Totally reproducible. Page down in Firefox to one or 50 lozenges open - any. It will crash. Becomes black, or stops responding. Until Firefox is closed. NEVER happens on board for example.

  I think it is leaking memory of Firefox, but even using Firemin does not help much, or not at all.

• The computer crashes during Gaming (BSOD) and Windows performance index

  OK, so I've had this problem for weeks. Initially, I thought the graphics card was defective.   OK, so I thought I should touch basis with you guys, because although no one answered for a while.

  The problem is certainly a problem of overheating.

  I figured out how to fix the problem - all I had to do was increase the GPU fan speed.of. Because of this, I was able to install the GPU driver successfully and play video games. (Use the GPU Tweak to increase the fan speed)

  I hope that whoever reads this found useful.

• After the update to iOS 10 my phone hangs up on use of contacts, calendar and email, often crashing their and reloading the affected application.

  I was already considering alternative browsers...

  I reduced to one of my extensions/plugins that I have disabled all and no crashes... Since then, I have reactivated my lastpass and my block ad liked and so far no problem... Currently disabled remaining extensions/plugins are:

  -https everywhere
  -invisible hand
  -shockwave
  -silverlight
  -vlc web plugin
  -nitro pdf plugin

• Satellite A60 crashes with BSOD using the WLan connection

  The son laptop works well 24/7 If you use the local cable network on web access, but as soon as we install Wifi it crashes on a regular basis (2 or 3 times an hour) with BSOD error messages - normally those helps Microsoft cant (via the event viewer report) with but it is often talking about Toshiba phone services but no solution.

  Tried two (netgear) pcmcia & usb (agere) wifi cards - exactly same problem can not maps.

  In desperation re-formatted & resettled Xp & all drivers Toshiba of original Cd of Tosh, then Xp Sp2 & then all the updates/fixes engineering including the bios from site Web of Tosh. Still crashes.

  If the software has - v installed or not makes no difference.

  A 512 extra ram on top of 256 original.

  Any ideas?

  Please believe me that it is not easy to say why the BSOD appears!
  From my personal experience, that the BSOD can occurs because of the problem of critical software, or because of the problem of equipment.

  In your case, it looks like a hardware problem (this is my personal opinion)
  Generally, the laptop should work with the external WLan USB card. I put t see no reason why it shouldn't work t.

  You said that you have updated the RAM on this laptop, I noticed on many laptops than similar issues after a RAM upgrade.

  For example; I inserted the new 1 GB RAM on my old Satellite and received a BSOD. I used a compatible but the BSOD appeared sometimes.
  After the passage of the modules to another location memory my laptop works properly!

  Please check this box. Maybe you could check if the same thing happens with your old module!

• Photoshop CS6 crashes

  I had Photoshop CS6 (13.0.1, Win 7, 64-bit) installed on my desktop for a while and it worked very well, all of a sudden it became very unstable and crashed on a regular basis. Accidents seem to happen regularly when I leave the selection of the crop tool marquee tool. I looked for a solution without success. Looks like I have updates. My next step would be to uninstall and reinstall, but I expect better guidance. Thanks in advance.

  Thanks for the comments. I ended up reinstalling and it seems to be a behavior. I also updated my graphics card drivers.

• InDesign keeps crashing and corrupting my files

  InDesign crashes on a regular basis, whenever it crashes I lose the last file that was open when the accident occurred. I can not re - open this file, if I try to open it, indesign crashes again and again. What happened 7 times in the last two months. I'm getting really sick of having to re - build complicated art files.

  It doesn't seem to be any consistency to when it crashes. Most of the time however, ID crashes right after (or as) the file that I worked on is closed.

  I'm on CC 2015 the latest version and I'm running OS X 10.9.5. (don't have not updated to Yosemite yet)

  I just tried to re - open file corrupted todays again once and it came with the following info on "an invalid image. If I press Yes or no, it won't let me open & ID crashes again.

  Please help urgently!  Is there any way I can recover my file corrupted from today?

  Oh also I spoke with tech support and they said that this is the fix for the current version of indesign.
