want to replace T41 1.6 cpu with a higher Ghz cpu... is possible...

I have a mixed House T41 clocked at 1.6 Ghz, 1.5 GB pc2700 memory, 40 GB HD.

can I use a faster processor on this forum, or not at all. When I have the cpu is another question.

PS: I got a t41, 1.4 Ghz with a burned motherboard engineer. I had some debris T41 clocked at 1.6

GHz I mixed both and now have a T41 as above, works well.

I repent dissatisfiers aT400 (with wxga +, p8400, battery 9...)

You can use any computer laptop-spec'd PM CPU clocked at 400 Mhz, such as 735, 745, 755 and 765. These are respectively 2.1 and Dothans 1.7/1.8/2.0.

Be sure to install the 'long fan' as well during the upgrade of the processor.

I hope this helps.
