  -2 SATA SSD's in RAID 1 (logs)

  -HARD drive SAS 6 in RAID 10 (to the database)

  Whether in separate RAID groups?

  Can I combine SATA and SAS in a RAID group, virtual disk or only on the level of controller?

  All my drives won't be visible in Windows, if it is SATA or SAS?

  The configuration of the Perc controller you would be perfect. You can mix SAS and SATA drives on the controller, it can handle both. You have SAS bays and bays this SATA on the same controller. You can NOT have SAS and SATA disks present in the SAME table, however.

  The OS will see the different virtual drives as well.

I then took a peek in the Device Manager and found that when I click the menu ATA/ATAPI IDE controller, it shows a new field saying: Intel(r) Mobile Express Chipset SATA AHCI Controller. Does this mean that AHCI is enabled automatically when I install the Samsung 850 evo 500 GB ssd? Its because I don't have any options the normally settings in the BIOS to change to AHCI mode and then he hit me maybe its on automatically, or what I have to do to switch to AHCI mode, which I have heard is the best setting when installing SSD´s...

  It is a decision that was made by Apple.  El Capitan is the newest OSX that will support a 2009 MBP.

  This is not uncommon.  My 2006 MBP came with Tiger, but is limited to OSX Snow Leopard.

  Old hardware ends up by becoming obsolete with newer technology.

  I think that the HDMI on your Air port was released only to screen external which is why you need the converter.
