  A few weeks ago, I accidentally dropped my Xperia Z3 Compact on the ground. The damage was not serious, apart from a few scratches on the screen, at least, I thought.   I don't think that something was wrong.

  The new operating system is not reading secondary drive completely as the file system may be different.

  Assign a drive to secondary drive. Press Windows + R, type deskmgmt.msc and press to enter. Here, you would see a drive or disk space that would be unassigned. Right click on the drive and assign a drive.

  or

  Insert the image secondary drive in an external hard disk enclosure and connect an external drive and you should find the content.

  If you have disconnected the secondary drive there is no way of that new OS will erase the content, unless you asked.
