  This can help with some (but not all the) programs/drivers:

  (1) uninstall the program, if it is already installed. Then when install you / reinstall instead of double click on the Setup file, right click and select 'resolve compatibility issues.

  (2) then click on 'Try recommended settings' and in the next window, click on "Start the Program" to install it.

  (3) after he set up see if it works properly. Note: some programs may not be able to run in Windows 7.

  2. Make a click on the file and choose Run as Vista Sp2 compat mode and run as admin.
  3. Run the installation program and the joystick connection when you are invited (and installed).
  4. End task on the Setup (it is always waiting for the cougar to be plugged).
  5. Enjoy!

  I did a new install of Windows 7 64-bit today and installed LR 2.5 64 bits. At the launch of the LR Installer opens very well the first time.

  Any time I try and open it after that it doesn't open at all. If I open Task Manager I see lightroom.exe appear for a second or less and which fade.

  -There are no errors in the log of events to all associated with lightroom.

  Interestingly, if I right click and run light room as an admin it opens fine.

  I have deleted all my preference and a complete unintall, resettlement of LR. No luck.

  Any ideas?
