Watch series 2 bike outdoor activities

Does anyone know if/when auto pause will be added to the activity of cycling outdoors?  This is a key element which must be included and with the GPS should be easy to implement.  The watch knows whether you are moving or not.

Thank you!

  • Scuba diving between 0 and 50 m with Watch series 2

Public documents for diving with Apple Watch series 2 is a bit contradictory. All the data I can find claims that it is resistant to 50 m, but you shouldn't use it for scuba diving.

Note 1 to the foot of the http://www.apple.com/apple-watch-series-2/ (for use later; copied 2016-09-23):

    1. Apple Watch series 2 has a degree of water resistance to 50 meters under ISO standard 22810:2010. This means that it can be used for activities of shallows as swimming in a pool or sea. However, Apple Watch series 2 should not be used for scuba diving, water skiing, or other activities involving high water speed or less shallow immersion.

My confusion arises because according to http://scuba.about.com/od/scuba101/p/How-Deep-Can-You-Scuba-Dive.htm, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_diving and my max Manual of deep diving PADI, the limit for recreational diving is ~ 40 m (specific recommendations is different for different countries) and the PADI manual recommends never goes more than 30 yet, the current material says that diving should be avoided.

Is it because that Apple means diving less than 50 m , when they say "scuba diving"? Or should I avoid diving at all with the watch? My current hypothesis is that the documentation is not as precise as it should be, but I prefer not to jeopardize security.

As a side note, he is extremely dangerous, if not purely and simply suicidal for a human without help to get to 50 m. Even if you ignore all the other dangers of diving, the only air makes it almost impossible. This means that any dive below 10 m is not really convenient for divers (diving is an abbreviation for self-contained underwater breathing apparatus). Which is another indication that the marketing material may be imprecise.

So I just got my new Apple Watch series 2 today.  I tried to add my credit cards in my wallet on my Apple Watch, but when I try to do it I get an error saying "could not set up Apple pay - error when setting up Apple pays.»  It is only a matter on my Apple Watch that cards are configured correctly on my iPhone running iOS 10 6s.  Any thoughts on how to solve this problem?  I tried to do a hard reset on the watch and my iPhone and the problem persists.  Thank you!

    Hello

Make sure that you follow all the steps here:

To be able to add cards to pay Apple on your watch, you must have the region setting chosen for her (like on your iPhone):

    • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > general > language and region - check Format correct region is selected.
    • If they are already correct, try reselecting the same Format of the region and also the language of the system itself.

  • Apple Watch series 1 (38mm) - battery drain in airplane mode

    Hello

I've had my Apple Watch series 1 (38mm), on Friday. So far, I really like and love what I can do with it. Never thought I would do so many things with it :-)

However, I've lived a strange behavior... To save battery, I turned today into airplane Mode while I was at work. It was just in my coat in my locker. So I use it and it has not moved for 9 hours... I left in there with battery to 90%... when I'm out, he just got 50% left... This is way too much.

Background refresh is disabled, I just installed 2 apps... also I just the icon weather stock on my dial of the watch. Not much in the dock or the other.

Maybe it's a bug of software? Or is my watch may be defective?

Restarted and will need to examine more closely, when its load to 100%.

Anything else I can do for now?

    Hello

  • Apple Watch series 2 is not available in stores?

So I've pre-ordered the Apple Watch series 2 and received a notification of shipment for delivery on Sept. 21. However, I just stumbled on the Apple Store to pick up my iPhone 7, and they had ZERO Apple watches for sale... Looks like these are available in VERY limited quantities at the Apple Store. Someone at - he hopefully pick up?

Not me. I stopped at my local store too and spoke with an employee that said they were full, but I could check the website store at 8:00 tomorrow to see if they have received a whole night. I didn't ask details so I will try to know where to look. The Apple Online Store shows not available for pickup. I hope that this will change tomorrow. As shown in the model I want 3-5 weeks for delivery.
