  Running currently on OS X El Capitan with Update Version 10.11.3 installed January 27, 2016

  Problem: I was on the purchase of 2016 Office for Mac and tried to install the update of El Capitan OS X 10.11.1 which is necessary to solve the problems with this version of Microsoft Office.  During installation, the following error message appears:

  "OS X El Capitan update cannot be installed on this drive. This volume does not meet the conditions required for this update".

  I would be very happy if someone can help me in installing this update.

  You are using a newer version of El Capitan that the updater contains and so cannot install it.

• MBR - Volume does not contain a file system recognized - after bootrec options

  I was unable to install the Vista SP2 (as it appeared later, because of a Grub boot loader installed by Linux). I tried to reconfigure the bootloader and the partitions (which allows to boot directly into Windows), but after several bootloader configurations (load different partitions as well as MBR) and some partition resizing (resize incl. NTFS partition). Windows unbootable.

  I tried Windows Rescue Disk:

  Bootrec /fixmbr succeeded

  Bootrec /fixboot did not work until I made the /scanos (including iedentified, after having disassembled the NTFS Linux partition and putting the flag of boot loader in the MBR and the default option of grub in Windows, there are 1 installation of Windows in C:\windows).

  If I then repeated bootrec /fixboot he gave the message that the volume does not contain a recognized file system.

  I also did bootrec /rebuildBCD (after renamed it bcd), ultimately without success.

  I suggest trying the (step 1 in the link) Startup Repair and then manually rebuild the BCD (Boot Configuration data) using Bcdedit.exe (step 3) in the article below and check if this solves the problem

  I plugged my USB on a windows 7. He always invites me to analyze and correct or cancel.   This is common with USB drives used on different operating systems. It happens alwaysto me when I use my drive to work (which is managed since my MacBook Pro) on Vista and Windows 7 client computers. Like you, I learned the hard way you must cancel the digitization of Vista/Win7. The only thing to do at this stage is to connect the player to a computer that can read the files OR use the software of data recovery on it to get the files. I believe that Recuva can do it for free. Format the Flash DRIVE, then start again. Either way, you don't want to use a USB key as a single backup of important files because - as you have unfortunately discovered - stuff happens.

When I put in the sd card, it wants to get in shape, the card already has pictures on it.  When I go to devices and try to open I get the same thing, when I cancel the box said volume does not recognize the file system.  I check the Device Manager and all that says it's working properly.   Like I said, the default Panel in the range of effects of applied effects/Applied / Motion and opacity.

  I just upgraded my iPad 9.7 9.3.3, 9.3.4. pro.  The result is that the volume control does not work at all.  I have a similar problem with my pro 12 "or the iPhone 6.  I tried to restart twice - nothing works.   Anyone else having similar problems and is there a fix out there?

  You mention trying a "reboot", but there is also a Force restart... try it if you have not yet:

  Force the restart (does not affect the settings/data/music/apps/etc)

  1. press and hold the sleep/wake button

  2. press and hold the Home button

  3. hold both buttons until the screen turns off, then back on with the Apple logo.

  I hope that someone can help me, I'm Vista using Microsoft Deployment Workbench deployment for Tecra M9 and M10 material and the volume knob will not work. I added the drivers of Toshiba in Deployment Workbench, while they are presented the machines via Plug n Play, volume button do not work. I also deleted the drivers of Deployment Workbench and installed the drivers manually on the machines, this installs fine, but volume knob will not work. I have two development servers, Win Server 2003 and Win Server 2008, the two do not run successfully the pilot slots.

  If I deploy a standard Win Vista Enterrprise 32 bit OS of DVD hardware, with any driver when it is installed, the volume wheel works. I can then manually install the audio driver and the volume button still works. But if I deploy the same exact DVD based OS of Deployment Workbench, the volume knob does not work?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is doing my head and holding up the deployment of the new image.

  I think you have misunderstood how it works - if your ring volume is set to high, then it's startup volume however if you set your low volume is the boot volume, then it will gradually get stronger - if it is set loud, then it will not start quietly

• Volume does not work - most of the time

  I have a HP Pavilion g6-2210sa, product C6S45EA #ABU Volume sometimes number works fine, but for the most part does not work. Sometimes, it works when I turn on the laptop, and then after a few minutes it does not work. If I restart it sometimes starts working again, but above all does not.   Try the following.

  Open windows control panel, open Windows Update, select "View update history" in the left pane and then select "Installed updates" link in the next window.

  Locate the KB2962407 update, right click and choose uninstall.  Once completed, restart the computer, open windows control panel, open Windows Update and select "Check for updates".  You will see the update that you have uninstalled just offered once again - right click and select "Hide update".

  After that you may or may not need to remove and reload the sound driver - if you do, how to use Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

• My volume does not work why?

  I don't know what the problem... My laptop was working fine with the sound two days ago. Now all of a sudden nothing does. The system sounds ping when I see if they work in the volume mixer, but when I try and play something in WMP or Youtube, as well as a game in general, nothing works. The green bar that is supposed to go up and down does not appear. But when I do the Test in the properties of speaker for this test perfectly. I tried updating my audio drivers, I scanned changes in Device Manager, and I entered and allows applications to use exclusively the audio, or anything like that. But for some reason any it still does not work. What should I do? ANY help is appreciated.

  EDIT: Just like a note aside, when I plug in my headphones, I get no sound either. Just in case that allows to resolve my situation.
