  APEX 4.2 includes a sample of data loading packaged application showing how to create applications with loading of the data wizards.

• Failed to initialize the Application example in Hyperion Planning

  I'm new on Essbase and Hyperion EPM system 11.1.1.1.0 and I'm trying to test the functionality of planning. I have installed and configured the EPM system, and when I run the Diagnostics of the EPM system, everything is successful unless connecting to Essbase Studio Server (which is a separate issue from another thread).
  
  I'm working with the example of planning application included with the installation. I followed the instructions given here from the blog of John Goodwin, but I encounter an error when I try to initialize the sample application. I also tried creating the application through the workspace, which is documented here. I get the same error during initialization of the sample application.
  
  I get the error message said: "failed to initialize the sample Application. See the log for more details. "Where this journal of planning? I'm running on Tomcat.
  
  When I try to create the database, following the blog of John, through the Administration > manage the database > Create, I also am getting an error on step 18 of 21: [console] verification of member formulas. The error reads as follows:

  What should I do to get this application example upwards and running so I can see what he does?

  If you remove the application, back, restart schedule, create the sample application again and initialize you should be fine, then you can return the clock to its normal state.

  You always make the changes on the side planning and when you refresh these changes will be pushed to essbase (which you can see with EAS).

• Funky problem continuously with a specific application

  This problem could be related to how this app was designed, but I thought someone here might know a hardware fix. Streaming of any application to airports is easy-peasy, but this particular application of the Apple TV streaming is a real struggle - but only about half the time.

  I use the NPR News app on my 5th Gen iPod Touch (iOS 9.3.2) to broadcast local and national programming to my two Airport Express base stations and the 3rd Gen Apple TV connected to my TV external speakers. Here's what happens:

  When it works, I go to the application, select the Apple TV in Airplay, a small rectangle in the bottom left of the TV attached with the name of the application, the screen turns off, a loading circle appears and the stream plays with a TV screen.

  When it does not work, I start the application, select Apple TV Airplay, the small rectangle with the name of the application appears for a second or two, the TV display goes back to the home screen of the Apple TV and streaming does not start when I repeatedly go to other applications and back or change the speakers. Finally, after a lot of switching autour, Airplay gives me two additional choices that do not appear when I'm streaming any another application: 'Apple TV' so that the Apple TV 3 with a mirrored rocker, and/or Apple TV 4 with a toggle.* of mirroring at this time where the flow does not work unless I choose Apple TV 3 or 4 and mirror of the touch screen. Mirroring very well, but when I can't use the key for something else. If I just continue to switch speakers or go to other applications and back, he's finally back to normal, simply stating your Apple TV with no option of mirroring.

  * The only time where Apple TV 3 and Apple TV 4 appear is when I'm listening to the new app.

  After checking the article here on the generation of periodic waveform with cRIO and then for a few hours trying to get this software to work on my fpga (PXI-7852R) I'm not much closer to making it a reality.

  I bet that someone with more experience could some conversion not fast enough... Notice to lovers?

• Integration of YouTube continues to crash the application.

  From yesterday, I was (I see others on the forum as well) the difficulties of integration of Youtube videos to Muse. I'm going to walk me through what I tried and what the results have been:

  1. in the past I would open the widget library, click on Youtube, drag it on the screen and continue to fill in the details this method has crashed to the app.

  
  2. I tried to copy a video from YouTube that successfully been placed on the place of anthers in Muse. I pasted the video on the page where I wanted. This method has crashed the app.

  
  

  3. I went to the YouTube video in my default browser. I made sure that "activate Advanced mode of confidentiality" was checked. I copied the embed code then pasted on the page desired of the Muse. This method has crashed the app.
  

  4. I contacted the support who had me try from the dialog box run, typed "%AppData%, a click on the Adobe folder and changed the folder Adobe Muse CC Adobe Muse CC_old. They then asked me to open a new site in Muse and try to embed the video. This method has crashed the app.
  
  5. support had me then disable all antivirus programs and firewalls. They then asked me to open a new site in Muse and try to embed the video. This method has crashed the app.

  
  

  Support and then asked me to create a new connection to the administrator on the computer. I didn't take this step, so I'm hoping to find a better solution. If anyone knows a solution please let me how this problem is growing very frustrating.

  A little more background. December 28 Adobe Flash Player update to resolve a security bug. Microsoft has eliminated an update about 30 December included in this update of Flash Player. Unfortunately, the update of Flash Player presents a bug for applications that use the browser technology Windows OS within their applications, such as the Muse preview feature and creating view Muse design of an image of the post to YouTube videos (and other HTML includes). This bug is the cause of this accident. Adobe Flash Player update to fix this bug on January 1. (see the Flash Player release notes for details Release Notes |) Flash Player® AIR® 20 20>.) It is now up to Microsoft to get a new Windows Update, which includes this update of Flash Player. I hope that this will happen in the coming days.

  In the mid-range or above workaround solutions may be used to avoid this accident.

• APEX application example - cannot connect

  I loaded an example of Application APEX in my workspace, but the default connection does not work. It is said to use the demo or admin as the ID and the name lowercase of the workspace for the password. I have try the workspace, but it does not work. When I look at the data in the table, the password is encrypted and it is different for each user. Seems odd to me (unless it uses the user name in the hash table). Any ideas out there?

  I downloaded LMOS (virtual box) - 4.3.12 - Win and deployed OBIEE 11.1.7.1 enjoy app successfully. So I started the LMOS and it displays a pop-up Information, here it NO IP address is displayed.

  In order to get the IP address of the machine of LMOS are the configuration I must follow. Could someone please suggest how the IP address appears in the pop-up information as soon as I start the machine LMOS. Am the host machine is Windows 7. Thank you for your suggestions and appreciate.

  I am trying to install the sample application named "Articles" as indicated in the link. After that, I compiled the application, I move the .war file on the following path: "C:\Oracle\App_Server\apache-tomcat-7.0.42\Sites\webapps".

  Then I stop the Application Server and then restart it. It creates the new folder in the folder webapps ' Articles - 1.0 ", but when I try to go to the localhost:9180/Articles-1.0/install.app link as mentioned in the documentation it gives me"HTTP 404 "status.

  If I go to Tomcat Web Application Manager he said that items - 1.0 is not started, and if I try to start it again it told me: 'FAIL - Application to the context items - 1.0 path not could be started.
