Web cam or NOT
My laptop is just more warranty and more when I tried the other day to ask this simple question to what the person in India has hung up on me.
My sheet of statistics shows that I have a webcam and microphone at the top. It shows the photos.
So I installed Skype and trying to work with what I got a pop-up that no webcam was found.
I checked help Wizard on the laptop and he indicated he was under Cyberlink software for the web cam but there is NO!
So, how can I really know if this laptop has a webcam?
The reason that it came even had a problem with a USB mouse. When I said I didn't have three USB ports, 6 USB hubs in Device Manager I said it was probably because of an installed webcam.
Can someone please help. HP is not going to I'm afraid.
According to the specifications of the laptop, your computer won't with a webcam.
In Device Manager, you will not be able to see the category-imaging devices which means that it is not a webacm
Hey, I have a Satellite Pro C850-10 t and my web cam does not work. Whenever I try to use it, it is said that the built-in cam is not connected or activated. I tried to download the drivers from the site web cam, but it does not solve the problem
What should I do?
Thanks in advance :D
Do you use the preinstalled original WIN7 64-BIT HOME PREMIUM?
Webcam is entered correctly in the Device Manager?

When you have installed the operating system, have you installed the utility of the portable system and the first chipset drivers? If this is not the case, the rest of the drivers will not install. How to download and install drivers in the correct order

I am very new to Firefox, really impressed so far. However, when you visit www.seewinter.com, I should be able to display 'live webcams' but when I click on the link, the web cam look at a box does not appear. I was in the pop-up blocker and given permission, just in case this was the cause of the problem, but it still does not work.
I tried to go back to google and when I clicked on the link live webcams came instantly, clearly, I need to do something in firefox I do not know what.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Please visit this page: the plugins https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ and update to the latest version (especially Adobe Flash for graphics, but both problems, other plugins to strengthen privacy and security on the internet.)
Sometimes it takes a while to load the videos, and not all cams are online 24/7.

Running windows 8.1 which came with the laptop.
New out of the box.
According to the title.
I find the quality of the image of the camera very grainy color image, poor etc.
When I start the webcam using the search bar on the right, he begins using the Microsoft application, when you access all the parameters that is available under settings/options is Photo image format, the grid lines, the location information.
I've been in touch with Toshiba support who advised to do a refresh of laptop, I did.
It made no difference.
After which they asked me to find the Toshiba web camera application on your laptop, it should have been in the Program Files folder in the folder of Toshiba.
This application does not exist on my laptop.
Technology verified the same laptop model, that he was available, he said when he selected the webcam, he opened using Web of Toshiba, Microsoft no camera app.
I looked at the other portable Toshiba with web cameras and found the picture quality to be better. Unable to get to settings and these computers portable on-screen and in demo mode, so locked up to a certain extent.
I can't believe a web camera in this day and age for this value of laptop to have this bad image quality. My digital camera of 10 years ago has a better picture quality.
I checked through the laptop, and I don't have this app installed.
I have checked for software and drivers updated to my laptop and cannot find this application applies to my laptop. Etc drivers seem to be up to date.
I would like to know, other users of this series S have any camera image quality problem.
What application is used when the camera is selected, Toshiba or Microsoft.
Is Toshiba web camera application for Windows 8.1, that I don't see not listed for 8.1
This sounds like a hardware failure or a problem with the application/software.
Any guidance or help on this would be appreciated, because I came to a point of the return of this laptop for a refund.
Thanks in advance.
Yes, I tried using FORCE!
> Technology checked the same laptop model, that he was available, he said when he selected the webcam, he opened using Web of Toshiba, Microsoft no camera app.

For example a Satellite A660 was equipped with a mega pixel webcam_ _1.3M
There is therefore a difference of resolution of the webcam

Recently I bought this webcam for my laptop, 20.0 MEGA pixel 6 LED Webcam Web Cam camera computer. In fact, I bought two one for me and one for my son and have not been able to get them to function. When I plug the usb and microphone cable, it tells that the new hardware has been found and it is to install the software of the new device. It complements and says device is ready to be used, but the camera does not work. The microphone works without problem, I tried reistalling the device a couple of times and in different ways without success. I tried unisnstalling, resettlement, adding hardware, etc.The camera stands out in Device Manager as a camera USB 2.0 in imaging equipment and records of cable into the USB as a Composite USB.Does anyone have ideas to make the camera work? I would really appreciate it!Running Windows Vista thanks
Thank you Robert Charney
If the webcam appears in Device Manager, idon't think that you will need special software for the cable.
You could try the cam with Live Messenger.
If it fails, you can get an error message more information.

that MS is far behind the drivers of certification). The RIGHT CLICK on the camera - UNINSTALL

Now, go to the system manufacturer's website and download the latest driver of the camera and other partners
the camera software (if not more recent get the same).
Download - SAVE - go to them and RIGHT CLICK - RUN AS ADMIN - reboot after each
Manually look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers.
Installation and update of drivers to 7 (updated drivers manually using the methods above

Then let windows updates on however prevent loading of drivers that are often
older than those that you have installed. If updates suggests a pilot can HIDE and watch

Try got the camera web get to work, without success.
Apparently, web camera initialization failed according to Toshiba Web Camera Application.
Check the BIOS settings please. Less advanced > system configuration you can find the option to enable/disable webcam. Check please if your webcam is properly enabled.
I downloaded the latest drivers from the HP website, but still no luck. Web cam applications says cannot find a camera.
