• Dell Inspiron 15R 5521 laptop web camera problem?

  I bought my new dell inspiron 5521 a few days. It has a built-in camera. Webcam work good but when I install a fresh windows and I have lost the drivers and now in a new window I have not driver and on Skype, video chat, it shows on the white screen. It seems to work but not found graphics. I installed all the drivers from the dell official website. But there is no driver for webcam official website. • Problem installing drivers of web cam I deleted by mistake the B50-30

  I acidently uninstalled the drivers of web cam and now I can not install them again.

  I run win 7 and I tried this medication. In the household appliance it is brand yelow and when I try to automatically install the drivers from win update it finds not apropriate. I downloaded the latest drivers from the lenovo site and want to continue the work. Even I try to install official drivers of lenovo new and old one where normally worked IT apears as they install and provide reebot, after reboot, same problem no drivers are installed.

  Its a whole new b lenovo 50-30 and this is first instalation of windows.

  Pls try help averithing. the web cam worked perfectly until.

  Tried 2 couple of times. Did not help.

  I have reinstaled windows and now the normal operation of camera.

  I don't know where was the problem, but reinstalling solved the problem. Ty for the help anyway.

  I'm not quite sure that what is happening with the webcam, but more often the webcam can be started using the software of the webcam installed m.

  In msconfig-> Startup tab, you can disable the webcam software to prevent automatic loading, while the laptop starts the software.

  Then you could start again the software and the webcam.
  You will see the little icon in the taskbar (lower right corner).
  Click on-> see the toolbar
  Then a webcam toolbar should appear where you could choose webcam only option.

  PS: If something went wrong with the installation of the webcam software, then uninstall the software and try again

  If there is no entry in the Device Manager, it's quite strange. If the device works properly it is listed under imaging devices like Chicony camera.
  Somehow, it seems that there is no link between the cam and the motherboard.
