  Please remove the 'ESET' product (if you have it installed) by following these instructions. If you have a different version of the product, the steps may be different.

  My laptop and desktop PC, laptop computer worked on my home wireless connection.  They are all still show that they are connected to the network, but when I open a page IE it says that it cannot find an internet connection.  Diagnostics do not display any problems.  I contacted my internet provider, but they showed me logged so that they cannot offer any help.  I use a Linsys E1000 router and have re-bboted it several times.  I'm not sure that the problem is from the PC are showing 'connected '.  Any suggestions?

  If you understand, all computers do not work wireless.

  If this is the case, connect to the router with a cable and check the configuration of the router wireless (read the router manual scopes)

  Several times when you are unable to access the Windows Update web page, it is either caused by a firewall block or a type virus infection.  I suggest to turn off your firewall and then test Windows Update.  Don't forget to re-enable it as soon as you are finished testing.  If you are still not able to access it with the firewall off, then I suggest a more aggressive scan for issues.  Use not only your AVG but run an online scanner as well.  These links have some great info about viruses and anti-virus programs:

  When you run the hostname command, is it returns "vcloud"?

  you still have problems with name resolution.

  Make sure that your local host name is vcloud.mycompany.com when you run hostname... or resolve.conf can solve vcloud-> vcloud.mycompany.com
