Webcam integrated in HP Compaq LA2206xc monitor is not recognized

I installed all drivers form official resourses (you Cam). And now I have the error message all the time that the camera is not detected and you please turn it on.

I also checked Device Manager - webcam does not appear there as well. I even tried to use the BIOS, but even once, there is here no webcam... So the question is how to actually activate the web cam in this case?

I'd appreciate any useful help. Thanks in advance.

Well, vga will not support any webcam communication.
You do not have a manual?
There must be a usb cable supplied with the monitor - to connect the monitor and pc with it.
Here's the manual too:

  • U2312HM monitor is not recognized by my computer, when you use the USB cable

I have a Dell XPS L702X running on Windows 7 Professional.  When I connect it to my Dell U2312HM monitor (using the USB cable), does not recognize it at all.  My monitor has a mistake about it, saying: now the VGA cable.  When I try to select the input Source, USB isn't even an option.  I tried to change the ports on my laptop, reboot with the connected monitor, making sure that all the cables are properly inserted.  Nothing seems to work.  Any help would be great.

    Thanks in advance,

    Daniel_hicks1,

You've lost me. You try to send a laptop computer VIDEO signal in the monitor through a USB cable? If so, it will not work. USB upstream cable connects from the monitor to the computer to activate the USB ports monitor downstream. To get the video from the laptop to the display, you must connect the VGA, DVI or DP of the monitor cable to the laptop.

  • Secondary monitor not recognized - problem with Windows 7.0?

    Hello
I am running Windows 7.0 on my system. I have connected a secondary monitor, but this additional monitor is not recognized. Could someone suggest something that can be done to remedy this?
    Thanks for your time,

Make sure that your graphics card drivers are up to date.  In the case of ATI, use later.  In the case of nVidia, archived version 182 has proved to have the most success with the people here.

  • Webcam integrated in SP23008WFPt monitor

I have the screen above, but it is not on a Dell system. I can't find any number of service and I need the drivers for the webcam because it is not recognized at the present time. Where and how can I get these and the associated software?

SP2008WFP built on January 3, 2008. Only, we have offered a specific webcam driver for Windows XP and Vista support. Windows 7 should at least see the webcam feature if the monitor cable upstream USB is connected to the bottom of the screen #5 and the other end connected to the computer USB port. Did you do that?

  • Satellite P300-220: no microphone on webcam integrated on WINDOWS 8

    Hello
I just migrated to WINDOWS 8 32-bit on my Satellite P300-220.

Whatever it works perfectly except the microphone on my webcam integrated. The webcam itself works but not the microphone.

    Any idea?

There are no drivers on the site of toshiba for WIN8 to Satellite P300-220

    Thanks for help

    TSB Rgrds

There is no Win 8 to P300 driver because the Win 8 isn t taken in charge for this series.
That's why some functions of the laptop may not properly work using win 8.

However, please go to control panel-> Sound-> recording tab
Click right on and mark options: see the disabled devices / Show disconnected devices

  • Cannot find a download for the software of the Webcam integrated Microsoft.

Years ago that I bought a laptop Alienware M17x R2 since then I had to reinstall the operating system. However, when I went to the website (now linked to dell) I was unable to find the software that came with the unit. The base for the hardware drivers are standard for windows for the camera works, however it seems to work in programs like Skype and through web browsers. I know, there was a program that allowed the user to take pictures and video clips, but Dell doesn't seem to allow me to download it. I also can't seem to find a Microsoft software which (according to my computer) has been the manufacturer.

I just want to be able to take pictures with my webcam again and am not suggesting that I have to go to 'new' Dell or download delldock. I tried to go to dell, if they have the software for the webcam they did almost immposible to find, and they seem to have no care that I would want to.

  • Cannot install install software & driver for Webcam integrated.

Original title: WIN 7 64-BIT OS cannot install the software & driver for Webcam integrated

I can't install the software for the webcam on my Dell Inspiron N7010 laptop properly. I have WIN7 64 - bit OS.  I was on the phone with Support Dell technique for almost 2 hours. yesterday & their final solution (as always) was to uninstall my operating system and start all over again.  According to them, that missed me a file operating system which maintained the software Dell WebCam Central download successfully.  Can I install another software that would work with built-in camera?  Can I identify the missing OS file and reload?

These third party maintenance utilities can cause many problems, if you have used any registry cleaning module, if you can undo/redo changes he can do before you uninstall this program.

Then run the System File Checker

    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/1538-SFC-SCANNOW-Command-System-File-Checker.html

Deleting the files manually, when an uninstall fails, can also cause unexpected problems, namely that a reinstallation of the program says can fail because the origonal registry entries remain

  • Compaq Presario SR5123WM does not turn on

Compaq Presario SR5123WM does not illuminate. Green light on the back is the only one that lights up. Fans don't come on. It is plugged. No lights on the keyboard or the mouse. Haven't added a new hardware or software. the fans were working and the keyboard and mouse worked, but the monitor would not come on, now nothing.

I thank very you much for the quick response. The instructions with the videos helped. It was the power supply.

  • How can I change the video display Mode when the monitor mode not supported?

While creating my new monitor, I changed the computer video display mode at 120 Hz by accident.  Now I see something on the monitor other than the words not taken in CHARGE the MODE.

My system is a new HP Pavilion p7-1423W running Windows 8.1 with Intel i5-2320 3 ghz

I tried the start mode by pressing ESC on power but do not help the startup options.  And the just F11 menu option makes the startup screen disapear and puts the monitor mode not supported.  Tapping F8 doen't work and tapping F12 just puts me in the bios menus that do not help.

How can I upgrade the video card integrated with a video mode that is supported when I can't see the screen?

I answer my own question because I found my solution, thanks to my grandson (freshman to Renselear Politech).

I shoot to buy a monitor that displays a refresh rate of 120, so I could put my rear view.

    Here is the solution.

My computer double exit DVI.  My grandson told me to connect my new monitor to the other output because the output does not get touched when I changed the original mode of production.  He has worked and is automatically selects the default monitors mode.  Then I've reconfigured the original output using the integrated display software. Solved!

  • Driver webcam, peripheral USB not recognized?

I have the MSI WIND U135. I use Windows XP and everytime I turn on my webcam, it comes up with the bubble yellow saying: USB device not recognized. In Device Manager, I usually have a scanner and camera tab, but I have now.  I don't know what to do. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hello Megan, you can resolve this problem by updating the drivers...

Download each of these files and right-click on it and click on extract all. Then go to the folder and run the Setup file and follow the instructions.
Each of them, install in the order that they are listed below.

After installation, restart your PC, and it should work.
If it does not, then there is a hardware failure in an integrated device. If it is under warranty, you can get it checked by the manufacturer.
