  As far as I KNOW 64 but Java is not supported.  You will need to download the 32-bit version of Java.  If you really need the 64-bit for the treatment of the other then I think you can configure Eclipse to use a 32-bit version installed separately, but I suspect that will be easier remove the java 64-bit and 32-bit just run.

• vSphere SDK for Perl on 64 bit Ubuntu 10.04.4 fails

  Failure, but it does not install installation process seems no more successful.  The scripts are not installed in/usr/bin/usr/lib/usr/share as described in the above document.  This looks like such a simple process, what I am doing wrong?

  Yes, I had actually just an installation of the vCLI (which basically includes the vSphere SDK for Perl as use utilities CLI SDK, the instructions are the same) on the server Ubuntu 10.04 64 bit platform. Before delving more deeply, your system has direct access to the internet? One of the installation requirements the vCLI/vSphere SDK for Perl is that it requires the use of the proxy server to help with the dependence of the CPAN package and I can certainly understand the frustration with the new requirements of the installer because it forces the use of indirect variables both http & ftp if you have direct internet access. However, I can assure you that it installs but may require tweaks to installer.

  According to your answer, we can take two approaches:

  (1) meet manually CPAN packages as shown here - http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-50/index.jsp?topic=/com.vmware.perlsdk.install.doc_50/viperl_install_sourcecode.4.2.html

  (2) If you have direct access to the internet, we can bypass the proxy check commenting on a few lines so that the installation program proceeds, but don't do that if you filled full the pre-reqs in accordance with the documentation - http://pubs.vmware.com/vsphere-50/index.jsp?topic=/com.vmware.vcli.getstart.doc_50/cli_install.4.5.html&path=1_0_1_3_1

  Now, we just need to uncomment some lines in the vmware - install.pl not out by the installation. In my example, I used the last vCLI/vSphere SDK for Perl 5.0u1 (this should be the same relese prior to 5.0 as 5.0u1 does not update the installer for RHEL and should not be any other changes). 5551 5554 and here is an excerpt of the comment lines are lines

  Assuming that you've been through pre-reqs from #1 or #2, you should now be able to proceed with the installation. If you have direct access to the internet, you should see the installer out t CPAN to demolish packages, if you have not, then he should confirm that you meet the requirements of #1.

  Apart from the obvious approach of fine tuning options memory JVM eclipse, another approach to tackle this problem is to get rid of java objects VIM of the project. Instead of this, the class files removes artifacts from WSDL java, make a pot unique (something like vim25.jar) and which include in the project. You can get the class files immediately after you have installed eclipse or you can also use the build scripts that come with the software development kit. Finally, you want to do is include the vim25.jar, but not the source code. Now when you make changes, brought to build your project is limited to samples. I have not tried many, but this should work.

  If you want to leave the VIM source code in the project, you might try to exclude the source folders vim source code, but you must make a copy of the class files in a directory as lib/classes and include class of vim files in the classpath.

  Is there a reference/knowledge base of this topic? There may be even not SDK published this helps connect technologies such as engines of real-time game and/or the preparation of static image?

  Perhaps another basic question that could respond indirectly to those above is: how the stereo is actually display to work? Is it essentially using only two images (one for each eye) like most other systems (i.e. shutter glasses, glasses of polar,...)? Or is it using several images, as seems to be the case in some lenticular systems?
  The number of necessary renders highly influences the ease of connection to stereo - systems, and I think that, as it might be a very different challenge to make more than 2 angles all the time...

• nipalk.sys, causing the BSOD 000000c 4 Win7 64 bit stop

  I am running Win 7 64 bit and installed "Windows Software Development Kit (SDK) for Windows 8 consumer Preview" today.

  Now, I get the BSOD Stop 0x000000C4 on each time you start nipalk.sys error

  The only work-around, I could come up with is to rename the driver in nipalk.bak, obvisously I can no longer use it in this case so it's not a solution.

  There's a PAL 2.6.5 update on ni.com site, but this does not solve the problem for me.

  nipalk.sys is the 2.1541.3.0 version of the 14/02/2011.

  I would be grateful all the solutions.

  This assertion of specific Verifier, STOP 0xC4 in nipalk.sys with P1 = 0xF6, was reported to R & D such as CAR #185772. It will be corrected in a future version of NOR-PAL, which should be delivered with a future version of any drivers OR you use. Until then, the solution is to disable the "Security controls" setting in the driver verifier.

• AVIOuputSession works only with 16 bit Image

  I'm trying to save incoming data to an AVI file using the AVIOutputSession in c# (.Net VS 2008).

  The data is a grayscale image and is captured as ImageType.I16, but when I try to use the WriteFrame() method, I get an error of invalid image type.

  I read the forum and I've seen a few similar problems with the fix is to convert the images in ImageType.U8 and I can confirm that it works, however, he destroyed the upper 8 bits of my image and (obviously) can not be recovered by trying to read the AVI later (using AVIInputSession).

  I'm under the impression (good, bad or indifferent) support than AVI 16 bits per pixel, correct?

  Is this a bug in the NOR-IMAQdx?

  LEADTOOLS encoders that support 16-bit grayscale are the following:
  -DRIVE the CPSM/MJPEG Codec (2.0)
  -(3.0) LEAD MCMW encoder
  -Encoder MJ2K LEAD (2.0)

  But you won't be able to use it through functions, OR the function uses the standard Windows way for interfacing with the codec, you will not be able to pass your 16-bit image to the codec because this type is not supported in Windows. I already tried to change GenAVI example comes with the LEAD library (located in "C:\Program Files\LEAD Technologies\LEADTOOLS multimédia EVAL 16.5\Examples\Ltmm\C\GenAVI\") and it failed.

  You must have Microsoft SDK, then put the filter DirectShow (Source), which will push your images for the codec of LEAD. On the other hand, this filter should receive your images IMAQ.
