WebWorks - UI - cannot connect [Linux Ubuntu (14.04)]
I just installed on Ubuntu 14.04 WebWorks, but when I try to start the user interface (either through the Terminal (. / start-ui) or by clicking on the shortcut) I get the error:
"An error occurred when starting the server: EADDRNOTAVAIL" and the browser page (http://localhost:3123) displays "Unable to connect" message.)
All my research gave no results this issue so far, and I'd appreciate any help .
I think it is worth noting that local port on my machine range is 32768 61000; I don't know if this might be irrelevant.
Thank you
EDIT:
Change to 1024-65000 local port range does not solve the problem.
Finished with a fresh install of Ubuntu 14.04 on a new virtual machine.
Problem has been resolved. I guess the problem was one of the following:
I was using Firefox, but the supported Linux browsers are Chrome and chrome; However, with the new facility, WebWorks UI works well on Firefox as well.
I was using the 64-bit version of WebWorks. for the new installation, I used the 32-bit version (although all my browsers are 64-bit).
I had used the previous host for web development projects, and it has been configured as LAMP server. I'm guessing maybe service web server Apache has been somehow interfere with ports (not sure).
In any case, I'm fixed now

I try to login in hotmail ff.but hotmail account ask me about my phone number and cannot connect my hotmail

I don't know in what circumstances Hotmail would ask a phone number. Perhaps there is some suspicious activity on your account.

Toshiba, make Linux - Ubuntu drivers for USB bluetooth
Toshiba, please make good Linux - Ubuntu drivers for your USB bluetooth. I was unpleasantly surprised noting that there is no driver available for Ubuntu. Please could someone explain THE reason for such a policy failed to Ubuntu users?
The problem is Ubuntu here. The Bluetooth adapter is directly connected to the USB bus, so it should work without any problems if the OS is delivered with the appropriate software to Bluez. Try to update your Ubuntu installation (apt - get update). Make sure bluez is correctly installed.

Satelite C50 - B cannot connect to wireless local area network
My brand new straight out of the box Satelite C50 - B cannot connect to my wireless network, when you are running Windows 8.1.
When you run the wizard for the first time user, it was unable to connect to my network to register. And I have been unable to connect after starting the OS, even if my thread was visible and the signal strength would be strong. I entered the security network key, but the message came back "unable to connect to this network.
However, when I started on a USB key to run Linux Mint 17.1, it took less than 5 seconds to connect to my wireless network. If the Toshiba hardware work properly, as also my wireless LAN.
If I plug in a network cable, same Windows connects to my network and Internet.
However, given that the C50 - B satellite comes with Windows 8.1 both of wireless capabilities, I was hoping someone here might be able to help me get a wireless connection in Windows.
It's really strange. I have S50 - B and WLAN works properly. I used my laptop connected to several different networks and everything was OK.
You can try to test with different wireless LANs?
Have you checked all the WLAN settings?
Try restarting your router.I mean if your laptop can detect WLAN, this means that the hardware is enabled and working properly. There must be a problem with the WLAN settings.
Also check the advanced power settings, and then set it to maximum power WLAN.

Pavilion: After updating the BIOS I am unable to connect to Ubuntu
Hi all
Last night, I upgraded my BIOS setting. After that, I am unable to connect to Ubuntu, i.e. He showed the password is incorrect (connect infinite loop).
Even I tried to connect grub too but that one also request username, password.
It would be great for your assistance. Thanks in advance.
I bought my Lappy with 8.1 Windows only. Later, I used Dual-Boot.
Come to my request "I have already clearly mentitioned in the subject.
Solution to my problem is simple, as I learn it from Google for example "I have change the password to sudo linux via the Recovery Mode I mean by mount - o remount rw / and passwd {pasword} .»
Finally, come to your question "had the computer top Ubuntu when you bought it? Otherwise I don't know how you can expect the support of HP. »
Rep. : I bought Hp, but this does not mean that I can only use Windows. And at the same time how parameter substituted my Ubuntu BIOS password"file"without my permission. If they provide an average of update of the BIOS it should & must maintain the integrity of the user (its not supposed to replace the Ubuntu password setting).
I hope that you have disabled your boyfriend of doubts.

AnyConnect used to install Linux Ubuntu 13.04
Hi all
I try to install the AnyConnect VPN under Linux (Ubuntu 13.04) client and I downloaded the vpnsetup.sh for installation script. After her permission and run the shell script in the terminal, I get this error message:
Installing Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client...
. / vpnsetup.sh: 1:. / vpnsetup.sh: hdid: not found
. / vpnsetup.sh: 35:. / vpnsetup.sh: Installer: not foundI think that the installation process is pretty simple and I don't see anything whatsoever as to why this might be happening. Please let me know what you think.
Thank you!
I also need to connect to my Cisco AnyConnect VPN from Ubuntu 13.04 office. I installed the package "network-manager-openconnect-gnome' with the Ubuntu Package Manager and it works well. To set it up (after installation) I went the network menu in the menu bar (where I normally choose my wireless network) and choose "VPN connections", then «Configure VPN»... "To install the package, you can use the Ubuntu Software Center and search for"network-manager-openconnect-gnome", or you can use the terminal and type"sudo apt - get install network-manager-openconnect-gnome '.

Before starting the application services, you must ensure that the database and the database listener are running. So, please, check the database log file and make sure you have no errors reported in the database alert file.

Why cannot connect with DB after control DB console configure NetMgr/NetCA?

Before you configure Net Manager/Net CA, database https://localhost.localdomain:1158 control console / em, SQL * more and Developer SQL to connect to the Instance of database DB1. All instructions SQL runs correctly.
After Configuration Manager Net/NetCA, all the tools of Admin above cannot connect to the Instance of database DB1 is the only case of DB.
What I've done is added 2 headphones more in Net Manager.
The original listener does not change which properties are: Protocol TCP/IP, Host localhost, Port 1521
Can any folk tell me what causes all the administrative tools cannot connect with DB1 after configure NetManager/NetCA?user8860348 wrote:
People,Hello. Thanks much for the reply.
ORACLE_HOME/bin directory, the command. / sqlplus SYS/SYS used to run correctly after the installation of the database. But after stopping Linux operating system, the command. / SYS/SYS cannot connect with Dabase more sqlplus.
I think that the command. / emctl start dbconsole should start to the top of the database. Am I wrong?
NO, you're not correct.

Is there another way to start the database?

Internal users cannot connect to SSO
We are in the process of implementation of Oracle Application Server SSO with our Forms customized using the Oracle 10.2.0.1 database application all version. We use JInitiator 1.3.1.22.
Our development team is working offline via a VPN connection. They have no problem to access the SINGLE sign-on page, by logging in and using / testing the application.
Developers who are in the building where the Linux servers are using the same address in the browsers IE7 that developers, but cannot connect.
-They receive security certificate error, as we expect, because we installed a fake for the development system.
-They click "continue to the Web site.
- Then, they get the error "Internet Explorer cannot display webpage"
The address they use is:
https://devsys.ABC.com:4444/forms/frmservlet? config = MainForm
We have verified that the domain name server is configured correctly.
Any help, management and/or direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.Take a look at this thread Test.fmx does not... How to run
It seems to me that your problem is related to the firewall, you must involve your network team so that they can check traffic...
There should be at least two access, one for the SSO (infrastructure server) server and another server forms... they can sniff the traffic from one of the PCs where his failure and troubleshoot further...
Just as Michael said (in the thread above from there), just because you can ping to a server does not mean that the port you need is open or that traffic to this port is not blocked...
We had a similar problem, developers in a building, a floor specific to be exact, could not connect to the server of forms, but are they connected from another PC located in another floor in the same building they could, developers in another another building had no problems, it's just to give you an example of how detailed firewall rules can get...
Ultimately the network team has detected that one of their firewall rules to block something also blocked access to the Forms Server for specific floor...

Cannot connect to apple tv for Mac OS Sierra
Hello
I upgraded my Macbook Pro (Mid 2012 retina) to Sierra de MacOS. When I am trying to connect to apple tv by clicking on the AirPlay icon and click on my Apple TV it asks me to insert a password! Apple TV displays an access code and I use it but it gives me this error:
Cannot connect to 'Apple TV'
I upgraded my Apple TV to the last tvOS (10.0). And it gives me the same error.
I tried to turn on the access code and password on Apple TV AirPlay adjustment but same error. Off, same error.
Help, please.
Thank you

Cannot connect to more than one mail account after the upgrade to Sierra
I have several provided ISP e-mail accounts that work successfully for a long time on elCapitan. After the upgrade to Sierra this afternoon cannot connect all accounts and I asks me to enter the password. Why isn't Sierra pick up the passwords of my trousseau?
Oddly enough, my Hotmail account seems to be ok.
How can I fix this without having to re - enter all passwords?
As a result of the foregoing, I found that my connection Keyring contains entries for all of my email accounts. However, these dates are back in July 2011.
After an episode of lost or stolen iphone, I had to update all of my passwords by e-mail in February this year (2016).
Search in my keychain, I found dated entries for my email accounts in iCloud Keychain section. I don't think that I never activated iCloud for my email.
How the entires of e-mail account eventually sub iCloud and why the old entries from email account not updated?
