  I'm quite new to Labview. I want to remote control a SH1 shutter with controller of tsc001 within a Labview VI.

  I have seen that we can use activex objects to insert a driver APT in a Labview VI (thorlabs drivers for control of the movement, see http://www.thorlabs.com/images/TabImages/GuideToLabVIEWandAPT.pdf, and http://www.thorlabs.com/tutorials/APTProgramming.cfm). Unfortunately, there are a lot of activex objects (APT Chopper / laser / motor / tec controls) but not the order of the shutter I need.

  Thorlabs gave me the answer, it's here if anyone should face the same problems: to communicate with a solenoid tsc001 control shutter use the activex MG17motor, instead of APTPZMotor. Then everything works perfectly.

• Lack of question Expression with I$ as he attempted to charge incr

  Im trying to do an incr charge using the incremental update of the IKM oracle. When it im running the interface im getting lack expression in I$ table.

  I have two tables with same as columns below and im doing the union transformation to load the data of my two tables (table 1 and table 2) at my target table

  Your unique key must be a column or combination of columns of the source, or how the process to identify the lines, lines that day to be the target! This is why you are getting the error. So just follow these rules when you use the incremental update:

  (1) do not try one generate a new column on the target which does not exist in the source (you can do this, but it is not the key used for the update)

  (2) select a single column or a combination of columns found in the source text and target that will uniquely identify the key to update records

• DST and vmware view = weird questions

  This is the 3rd time that when the time comes or goes we get questions of kind of weird in our very frequent floating pools, VMs stuck in starting up, wait for connection etc.

  I was on the phone with VMware for 5 hours Tuesday last with this same problem.  I ended up solving the problem without their help.  You must initialize your model, let the time updated, shut it down, take a new snapshot and recompose your pool.

• Weird question. Captivate 6 do not let me pick a script for a tip Action

  Hi, so I am faced with this very weird problem on a captivate project 6 I built. I have to add an Action in advance on an exit of blade action. This was previously defined as "Continue", and now I want to put this to 'Execute the Action Advanced' (an action script advanced that I just wrote). The thing is that when I change the property on the output of 'Run of advanced Actions', I'm not able to select a script in the menu 'Script '. I have tried everything from:

  • modification of machines and doing so on different computers with 6 Captivate
  • Make copies of the file and try those
  • Closure of Captivate and restart my computer
  • Ensure that the blades are not locked

  but can't seem to understand this. Also oddly, if I try to set the property on the output of let's say slide 67 as "Perform advanced Actions" (when he was already all just 'continue'), all other slides also change to this, sense of ownership on output for all other slides also changed from 'Continue' to 'Perform advanced Actions'.

  I've been stuck with it for the last 6 hours and that you can't fig this out.

  Your question sounds suspiciously like a corrupted project.  Did you do a lot of copy and paste to duplicate slides maybe?

  If kill the Preferences folder does not solve your problem (see Tip #8) then you might want to try to copy your current slides in a very empty new project of the same size. You will lose all current in the process advanced actions (because you're on Cp6) but it turns out something useful to get rid of corruption all in recovery always content.

• Weird question on which the machine virtual ESX 3.5i

  I have a question very very weird on 2 x HP DL380 G5 boxes with ESX 3.5i U3 loaded on each.

  The installation program:

  DL380 G5

  2 x Quad core

  2 x 72 GB Raid 1 + 0

  6 x 146 GB Raid5

  32 GB OF RAM

  I installed esx 3.5i u3 according to the normal, created vm. But when I copy data to a network in the virtual machine folder spikes the cpu and the virtual machine does not respond. What makes it worse, is if I copy a large file on the c: to another folder on c: VM does not - high cpu and ping meets about 200ms. vmdk bones all over the 72 GB Raid 1 + 0 datastore. When I add a data from the store of raid5 data drive the same phenomenon occurs. If I copy the c to this drive on the raid 5 data store the virtual machine gets does not and pings hover at about 200ms.

  Any ideas?

  I have no idea why this is happening, Ive deployed the same configuration with a bunch of vm and no problem.

  I don't think its network since you said that you have the same problem copy from c: to c: on the same machine.

  Looks like the machine is waiting for e/s finish. Check if you can see if I/O is blocked somewhere

  Are there messages in the system log of Windows indicating disk problems?

  Check your RAID controller. It is on the HCL?

  Your write cache is configured correctly?

  Here's my scenario...

  • Windows 7 64 bit family

  • Intel quad core processor

  • Nvidia Geforce Gt240 graphics card

  • 8 GB of ram

  • G - tech g-raid0 drive 2 TB (for image storage)

  • WD Caviar Green 500 GB (OS Win764bit & amp; applications)

  • WD 250 GB usb 2.0 external drive (for backup)

  • First Pro CS5 (prod prem) modded to enable nvidia gt240 graphics card be used with the Mercury playback engine

  Backstory:

  I shot a short film of 2 weeks using a Canon Rebel T2i at 1080 p 24 with shutter speed 1/50.

  At the end of the first day of shooting, I had to transfer the .mov footage off the coast of the Trandcend 16 gb class 10 memory cards with card reader Kingston for the Raid. I used a legacy firewire card connected to the aforementioned PC (it's all I got for the firewire connection at the time), and I noticed that the file transfer has been extremely slow. So for the next two days after I transferred the rest of the video on the Raid via USB 2.0 and the other files transferred much faster.

  Play the images using VLC Media Player is well most of the time, but sometimes I see for about 5 frames pixel information is lost. It is not rolling shutter or jello. Part of the pixelated frame strongly for all 5 to 10 frames. I don't know if it's the loss of data on these images? I agree with a few images here or there, I can work around it if I have to...

  The problem:

  I used the DSLR 1080 p 24 preset to set up sequences of the first Pro CS5 project. After you import the images above, reading in two preview windows randomly is pixelated, similar to the effect of VLC, but random parts. For the most part, VLC is compatible with the management of the problem. Whenever I start the first it will be Pixelize frames in different places than before. Sometimes when I run first first is good, then after a few readings, it starts to distort. After management problem for the current session, the pixelation appears in the clips that have the green status bar. Also, sometimes (randomly) some of the clips in the timeline panel have green waves at the bottom of them, or are completely green.

  I tested the raw images in VLC, WMP, Media Player Classic (after you temporarily install KLite hoping to solve the problem). The problem that all .mov files seem to Pixelize the same framework of each player. First, but pixilated times randomly.

  Tried with two mpeg streamclip and even with cineform neoscene U transcoding. Same results.

  I have not been able to narrow down what is the problem. Any ideas?

  The problem is resolved. My cache of media was written to my local hard drive (c :)), a WD Caviar Green 500 GB. It turns less 7200 RPM, as it is friendly green. After clearing the cache and redirect the path to the raid 0 drive 7200 RPM, the media reads in the timeline smoothly without pixelation. A high technology, Adobe has helped me solve this problem after a lot of troubleshooting. Thank you!

• Watchdog question along with BACK Smurf attack on router and duplicate MAC hardware address

  Before we get into too much detail, you should know that my understanding of the internal processes of a MAC or any computer self-taught self and therefore flawed and elementary is at best.  Specifications for my MAC will be provided below my Epistle.   The bottom line is that I caught an employee a long time ago on my iMac while I'm out and I noticed that she was doing something with the watchdog.  I thought nothing of it at the time, but the watchdog of name stayed with me.  Since that time, over a year ago, there were several problems with why online banking and other fraud concerns.  If the 2 are linked, I have no way of knowing.  But my iMac is essentially useless at this point, there are countless accidents every day... but before you spend $3,000 on the new, I thought that it prudent to ask for assistance from several sources informed.  My console, I noticed several instances of the hardware MAC (DAD) duplicate addresses.  I'll give you the result below.  I have also connected to my router Xfinity and that this month there were 5 distinct "SMURF ATTACKS" or DOS attacks.  Yet once, I'll give you the result below.  And finally, by connecting to my computer in standard mode, watchdog daemon doesn't seem to exist. However, when in safe mode, there is, but he is unable to initialize.  I followed Davis Linc instructions (from a question someone asked about watchdog not booting not) and his bash script output will be provided below.  Any help would be appreciated I run my business from my iMac and say State it mildly, I'm tired of spending days trying to solve this problem.

  Be aware that, in my view, that my virtual RAM is low, although I can't find a definitive answer.  Support Apple says simply drag the hard drive and start over.  Maybe they have reason.  No matter, I know that I have provided too much information below, but I don't have the knowledge to know what is important and what is not germain to the issue.    Thank you in advance.

  The closure of blocking app which seems to be Photos.   I would back up all your files here first - probably two external backups - then try a photo / iPhoto repair pass - stop pictures / iPhoto, then launch the application with the option key (also labeled alt on some keyboards) and command.   You should get a dialog box asking you if you really want to fix the library.   If this fails, I would export or copy everything I could and rebuild each photo / iPhoto or - given other issues here - the whole of the environment.

  Regarding the duplicate addresses, you have an airport or time Capsule?  And if you want and need to have Wi - Fi and network assets, wired (such as it is apparent that this is the case), you will need to configure Wi - Fi as a point of access (the ' bridge'), or configure separate subnets for traffic.   This can be automatic with some integrated network devices, but may require one manual configuration with others.   But if you have a Gigabit Ethernet connected and active cable, there is usually very little reason to have Wi - Fi connected and active.

  What did or didn't happen here with unauthorized access is not likely going to be addressed either through the forums, many different things can happen to a system that has been compromised or has suffered an attempt to compromise, unfortunately.

  In regards to your concerns around safety and handling, the system has been tampered with, Apple is correct.    Down your data to one or two probably of external storage devices and reinstall from verified distributions and do not migrate existing applications or tools.   Reinstall those distributions checked.    Also remove all products the security module, anti-virus or anti-malware tools can be added here - what that looks like Symantec is installed - according to the suppliers for this withdrawal.   Additional security tools can cause a variety of problems in the system.

  You'll want to have these external backups in all cases, as one of the causes of the reported behavior is a peripheral fault storage.  Systems to get slow and flaky when storage is a failure.   A Time Machine configured and running, or some other regular module backup tool, at least.

  What is happening outside your router's problem of Verizon and just the normal dreck that happens on the rest of the Internet.   This is not your problem, unless you opened Internet access paths to the inside through the router on your network, and so does the rest of the Internet your problem.

  I'd probably also avoid installing the software add-on from HP, if you print only and you don't need features beyond what is in the base OS X distribution.

  The process of CEPHtmlEngine consuming resources system generally involves the Adobe software; see the for more details on this Adobe forums.

• Questions, communicate with a Windows domain controller

  I thought at first my user had a problem with Keychain and had finally called Apple Tech Support.  While on the line with Apple, we proved that it was not a question of Keychain, but rather a problem of communication with a windows domain controller. The key elements are:

  * Multiple users and Macs are members of an Active Directory multi-domain forest

  * iMac is a 27-inch, mid-2011w / 8 GB RAM

  * OS X 10.11.2 (updated 10.11.3)

  * Question appears isolated to this iMac (currently). All other iMac, Macbook Pro and Mac Pro is currently very well, several VIRTUAL LANs, and a MacBook connected to the connection of network iMacs can communicate properly with the domain.

  * iMac seems not to contact no matter what domain controller when connecting, but connects to the resources of the network and domain controllers, after login. Permissions and access to the resources appear normal after login.

  * User (s) cannot change passwords for mobile accounts or login with new mobile accounts, but accounts/passwords cached work very well.

  * iMac uses Symantec EndPoint Protection for Mac (anti-virus) – REQUIRED BY THE POLICY.  I can't change.  I have come off for the test, but must replace as soon as the test is completed. This policy is set at a level about five grades of remuneration above me.

  * It isn't really everything off the coast of the wall software installs on the computer.  The full Adobe Creative Cloud subscription is responsible, but so it is on just about every other mac I support.

  The steps that have taken place:

  (1) about a month ago, the user went to change his password, but wouldn't go to change password at the login window.  We were able to change their password on the network and could use the new password to connect to the network Active Directory controlled resources. We can connect to resources network successfully with the new password, after we connect locally with the old password.

  (2) we get the red ball (the network resources are not available) to the login window. We are basically connecting with identification and passwords cached information.

  (3) if we try to change their password through the system preferences / users and groups / / password Chang, we get the message that no domain controller is available.

  (4) initially thought that it was a matter of trousseau, and we ended up calling Apple support, since Keychain first aid is no longer available in 10.11. Apple-Advisor while that remote, showed where it was not a question of Keychain because we could not change the password on the domain, because the iMac didn't communicate with a domain controller.

  (5) while on the phone with Apple, we reset SMC and NVRAM without success.

  (6) If you are going to untie the iMac in the domain, a message that the system cannot communicate with a domain controller.

  (7) today, thinking that maybe there was a hardware problem with the ethernet connection, tried to use the private WiFi network. Still would not communicate with a controller domain, but, as if using the wired, could connect to network resources. This happens independently attempted account.

  (8) used a MacBook on its network without any problem, it is not the connection port or switch

  (9) moved his iMac to another connection on one VLAN different. Same question.

  I'm open to suggestions. I have two days to work on this subject, around the planning of production of the user, while I'm off site for a week.

  10) thinking that maybe it was something that happened with 10.11.2, he improved to 10.11.3 today. No change.

  I don't want to try to clean and recharge its iMac, in the hope that this clears up the issue.

  ANY SUGGESTIONS?

  A few additional tests.

  (1) Symantec deleted using Symantec CleanWipe, without modification. Has been reinstalled after additional tests and a reinstallation of the operating system.

  (2) being ran reports, visualization and research now, but nothing is really coming out as noticeable. Only problem seems to be a helper of Adobe

  (3) use a bootable USB key and had no problem with the thumb drive version, this isn't somehow a hardware problem.

  4) entered the recovery partition and the re-installed El Capitan, in the hope that perhaps, is a pilot or something in the protocol stacks have been corrupt, a reinstall would correct. Reinstall has not corrected the problem.

  I'm really strongly leaning towards here is something in a plist or somewhere configuration file that is corrupted, but I don't know where this would be right now.  Will continue research and testing. Last resort will be a wipe up to bare metal and a clean install. I will not migrate the profile of the user, but only its working files.

• How to open and close an electronic shutter with LabView 8.5.1 using an NI USB-6009 case?

  Also, I need to set up a timer so that the shutter is open for 15 minutes and closed for 30 minutes.  It has to do 500 times.

  The USB-6009 case is a relatively new device, and LabVIEW 8.5.1 is a fairly old software. You should check to be sure that you have the corresponding to your version of LabVIEW (DAQmx) drivers that support of this material. It sounds as if you put it in place to MAX and control the output manually, which is a good sign. I don't have access to the version 8.5.1 and I do not exactly remember which functions he supported, but the attached picture shows a simple diagram in a new version of LabVIEW that would do what you want. Of course, you should test with shorter and less iterations because it takes more than 2 weeks to complete! Add any controls, indicators and the error checking you want.

  There was a lot of weird things going on with my computer the latter time, first when trying to go on the internet it freezes sometimes and when we look for something and try and click on a link it will just to another site randomly? Also, when we try to turn them off the computer, the screen turns off but the fan continues to run :/ McAfee also told me that he risked connection tries to connect to my pc...

  Can anyone help?

• Something weird is happening with my rocket

  I have a sansa fuse 8 gig. When I first bought it I have synced the unit to windows media player, downloaded and then deleted these songs on my computer after it is placed on the "rocket". Later, I found it would not work for me as when I tried to download new songs, the "rocket" would be sync and find out that all of my previous downloaded songs were not on the computer more, then proceed to delete these old songs of unity. Someone told me not to use windows media, open a my computer window and a window of my music and drag and drop. Anyway, I bought a micro sd 8 GB card and I've been downloading all my songs on it instead of using drag / move. When I access the card through my computer, I show a single file: Various Artists-> Fav Singles-> list of songs. I might add that I have change all the information of the song before downloading for detonators, i.e. making sure I got the name of the group, the title of the song, and then I change the name of the album for single Fav. When I look to the top of the same sd card in the "rocket", it shows 2 different singles fav files and many of the songs in the two files are titled in Chinese. When the sd card is in the computer sd slot, it is America, as it is supposed to be. Why would it be? How can I get these 2 files combined, and these few songs written in America?

  Out the image of Windows Media Player. You don't need it.

  In Settings/System Settings/USB Mode put it in PMT, open Windows Media Player and copy the files to the device on a PC or a player, just to store them for a while.  Delete your Fav singles record as soon as it is empty.  PSG is the mode that allows WMP control unit.

  Then switch to Mode USB/MSC and simply drag - move files on the internal memory or card. Make a folder or folders that you want.   MSC makes the unit and card slot work as base two disks for the thumb.

  On Chinese characters: this is probably how the tags - the information of the "rocket" bed of mp3 files on the Album, artist, number of track, etc. - are written.  Tags can be coded in different ways, and the "rocket" can't handle everyone who reads your PC, so it displays sometimes weird stuff. Albums, torn by different programs write tags differently.

  Get the free and excellent mp3tag.

  Install it, check the box to add it to the context menus of Windows.

  In Tools/Options/Tags/Mpeg value Write ID3v2.3 ISO-8859-1.  (Chinese characters come probably from tags written in the other choice, UTF-8 or UTF-16). Save this change.

  Now right click on a folder of one of the albums that gave you trouble, and in research... you'll see mp3tag to open the folder. It will give the list all files in the folder.

  Highlight all the. Assuming that they are listed, top to bottom, in the order you want to play, go to tools and the use of the auto-numbering wizard. Check the zeros, which will number 01, 02, 03. (Many extraction programs use 1/12, 2/12, etc. - the "rocket" stumbles on those). Run the wizard, and you well numbered tracks both ID3v2.3 ISO-8859-1 tags that do not show the weird characters.

  It takes about 5 seconds for an entire album. The "rocket" should be more flexible in the types of tags, which he accepts, but it is an easy way to deal with it.
