  Dehaze is different because, according to Adobe, "Dehaze technology is based on a physical model of the way the light is transmitted, and it tries to estimate the light that is lost due to absorption and diffusion through the atmosphere." So there's an element of analysis of scene sensitive to the content at a level that is beyond what is clarity.

  It is probably not enough to describe tonal which varies Dehaze changes, because I think dehaze varies according to what it changes depending on if she thinks that an area is blurred or not.
