What are users with Cisco 802.11n 802.11ac WLAN APs running on Low Power?

Experts Sars WLAN,

I'm new on a big installation WLAN here and noticed that not only the AIR-CAP2702I-E-K9 communicate on the Management Station first central and many changes of low-power 2.4 GHz antenna power level.

People here tell me that it is not harmful, but I am slightly dubious and would like your opinion here.

WLAN access points are activated with 2.4 and 5 GHz-antennas and shoot only 15.4 Watt following switch.

Interface Admin Oper Power (Watts) class of device
Of the PS to the device
--------- ------ ---------- ---------- ---------- ------------------- -----

Ba3/4 auto on 17.3 15.4 4 AIR-CAP2702I-E-K9

First is revealing:

"APis running on Low Power." Please disable Radio one and reset the access point to get full power on the other radio. »

The access point is configured for 802.11n on both bands and 802.11ac on 5 GHz.

I can also see many Power Level change on the 2.4 Ghz antenna.

Here people are complaining about downtime on laptops for SAP applications.

Also a voice over WLAN installation does not work very well.

But I don't know if this has something to do with low power.

What are the consequences for WLAN users in this scenario?

Changes in the level of power can cause interruptions to users of WIFI?

Is 'Low-Power' - Situation responsible for a large amount of sending changes to feeding on 2.4 GHz?

Who knows more and has experience with low-power facilities?

Thank you for any comments on this

Wini

Just to add

What are the consequences for WLAN users in this scenario?

* Anything, just change really the number of antennas is used

Changes in the level of power can cause interruptions to users of WIFI?

* Change in power level, do not make changes to string

Is 'Low-Power' - Situation responsible for a large amount of sending changes to feeding on 2.4 GHz?

* No.

Who knows more and has experience with low-power facilities?

You should focus on your environment and what you see. With low power due to the PoE does not affect the user experience.  If your access point changes the power too high or too low, you can introduce some poor duplication of coverage or channel.  If you are also in a building/space tenant shared, other installs nearby Wireless will affect your RF and yours will have an impact on their. Nothing we can do.  You must set customer issues before assuming what is wrong, that nothing could be wrong.  The updated client drivers is also a good thing to do to eliminate this problem.

  • What are user defined variables (UDV)?

I'm trying to debug an application in real time and have worked on known issues for LabVIEW Real-time 2011. There is a term called "user defined Variables (UDV)" that opens occationally document known issues with other documents. It seems that UDVs can be created under target FPGA but I am unable to find any useful information on them. I know only local, global, shared, single, variable IO process.

    Hi Lucie,.

The /o Variables using the help documentation gives a pretty good explanation of what a user-defined variable is in the section "data i/o Variables for Custom FPGA of e/s". I hope that this documentation helps!

  • What are compatible with other phones?

When I submit themes there are several other phones in the same area of the phone that I submit.

For example: when I submit a theme for Bold 97xx there are four other models of phone (9000, 9050, 9900, 9930) which are an option that I can choose from as well.  If I have marked other phone models, my theme would be compatible with these models?  I ask because they are grouped with the model I selects as well.

Basically I wonder if all the phone models that are grouped are compatible with each other?

Phones are grouped in the series (i.e. Bold, Curve series etc.). They are really, for example screen resolution:

    • Half display VGA 480 x 320 pixel color (BlackBerry 9000 "BOLD")
    • Screen color high-resolution 480 x 360 pixels (BlackBerry Bold 9650, 9700, 9780)

Support for operating system version would be different.

It seems therefore that the grouping is more related to brand as the specifications of the phone.

  • 802.11ac module - Clients report a lower speed

I've just set up a 3602I with a RM3000AC 802.11ac module and a WLC 2504 AP. Now my clients compatible ac report 400 MB/s connected to HQ 5 GHz. The thing is that these same devices reported more than 800 Mbps before when it is connected to a router from Netgear R7000 ac consumers.

I use the same circuits and radio auto power now. Am I missing something here?

    Current Rate..................................... m9/400.0
That's what I'm looking for. M9 MCS rate refers to the wireless client can support 2 spatial streams (and width 40 Mhz instead of 802.11ac standard 80 Mhz), so 400 Mbit/s-ONE-WAY-TRAFFIC. NETGEAR "dodging" the value showing 800 Mbps which means the sum of the traffic upload & download.

I run the script following powercli: -.

2 Guest.State, which can be either; running or not

Can someone so advice on the differences between these two properties? Could I have for example a VM with PowerState = PowerOn, and that his Guest.State = no run?

    Yes.

For example, if a virtual computer is started and VMware tools have never been installed on it, it will signal exactly that.

  • What are the meaning of the different network Options?

Initially, I assumed [1 x 1] means only (2.4 GHz) band and [2 x 2] mean dual band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), but the following options are listed for the HP ENVY - computer laptop 17 t. It is my understanding that 802.11ac protocol works on the 5 GHz band so the third option must be otherwise dual band, she couldn't communicate with many routers in use because they are supported only on the 2.4 Ghz band.

    1 802.11b/g/n WLAN [1 x 1]

    2 802.11b/g/n WLAN and Bluetooth® [1 x 1]

    3 Intel 802.11ac WLAN and Bluetooth® [1 x 1]

    4 Intel 802.11ac WLAN and Bluetooth® [2 x 2]

HP seems to go back because I have a laptop HP G70 age of 6 years which came standard with a network adapter dual band 802.11n, but lately it seems that HP has only NICs band 802.11n in most laptops, and it is not even an option to update.

Can someone clarify what means these designations. If doe [1 x 1] does not mean only one band and [2 x 2] does not have dual band, how someone to determine if the first two options are single or double band band, since the "n" Protocol can operate on both bands?

I am not concerned by the "ac" Protocol because some routers support this Protocol but I'm worried about whether the network adapter is simple or double band, since I live in a condo complex and neighbors are on the band 2.4 GHz, which causes my WF - FI to slow down to a crawl, but if I'm on the Gz 5 band the WI - FI works at full speed.  I was very surprised when I bought my HP all-in-one"system to discover that he had only a single band network adapter and I had to buy a 3rd party network card so that my WIFI would not slow down to 3 Mbps instead of running at the speed of the line (29 Mbps).

    Hello:

This article does a good job of explaining the difference.

    http://superuser.com/questions/323347/laptop-wireless-networking-options-1x1-vs-2x2

The way that I say if a wireless card is simple or double band, is that if it is listed bgn, it is a single card (2.4 GHz) band and whether it is listed abgn agn or it is a double card band.

  • HP Pavilion 23-h024 AIO: can I put my HP Pavilion 23-h024 network card to support the 802.11ac?

Our wifi at work is extremely slow and the technician who came told us that we have a router with capacities of 5 GHz. My boss wonders if our PC is supported by an upgrade on the network card before we spend the money to do this. Is there anyone can tell me which cards are compatible with our PC? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Upgrading a PC AIO is much more difficult than a normal desktop PC.

The easiest way to update your AIO PC would be to upgrade with a wifi usb 802.11ac adapter.  Wifi installed mini PCIe wifi adapter uses the setting of 1 x 1 antenna built into your PC. Your PC is not able to be upgraded to a wifi with ability to stream adapter 2 x 2. You would need this ability to upgrade, but your PC has not.

I have a collection of wifi usb adapters for my own use.  My favorite usb adapter is the ASUS USB-AC56.

Note you will also need to upgrade the router to able to bradcasting your SSID to 2.4 and 5 Ghz with the 802.11ac specification.

  • Installation of WLAN 802.11ac VST

My company recently purchased a VST Instrument of SMU-5644R without buying software or licenses!

I realized with the help of support NI AE s which, in my view, the requirements are to some 802.11ac measures with the VST.

    LabVIEW 2012 development suite

    Toolkit Spectral Measurements

    Modulation Toolkit

    WLAN Measurement Suite V4.0

I expect to have all the software and licenses I need in the coming days.

I have a number of questions remaining on the installation and configuration associated with this 802.11ac measurement solution that I really wish to get help with people NOR or any other people who have been through it already.

    1. do I also a FlexRIO as SMU-7965R module for basic 802.11ac generation and analysis or this card is not required unless I need of channel modeling or other custom work?  I have in fact already of this material but do not know if his need and it is not quite clear to me exactly when I need to use it.

    2. is there a process I should follow [or anyone can propose a] to ensure that I can get all this material and to work together without too much wheel spin?

    3. are there examples of LabVIEW to take a measurement of CCRP with the VST?  Have not found any.

    4. How can I configure the routing of détente between FlexRIO and VST module?  Had some trouble getting a few VST LabVIEW base for work and did not understand the explanation. The summary of message says error "the example uses paths PXI trigger for FPGA i/o, that these lines must be routed to the VST" he continued by saying that this range can be made to the MAX.  I've messed around with the routing, but could not get the error message disappears.

Thanks for any help or advice, you can provide,

  • How to activate 802.11ac on EA6500

Bought an EA6500 last year and have now a laptop with an 802.11ac wireless card inside. At work, my laptop shows it's connected ac 802.11.   At home on the EA6500 I can't it connect with ac 802.11.

What should I look for?  I don't see any 802.11ac specific settings anywhere.

    Kevin

    Problem solved,

A setting of the router under wireless menu and 5 GHz referencing.

    Network mode: has two options.

Mixed, N only, CA only.   It has been set to N only.

I changed it to joint and my Mac Book pro now connects at the 802.11ac network.

On a Mac you can hold down the 'alt' key and click on the wireless icon and it will show you the stats of current connection.

    shows currently PHY Mode: 80211.ac

Now off the coast to test 5 GHz coverage and penetration in my house.

I want to know what are subfolders with blue color lettrers in my program folder of windows that look at this $ $MS13Uninstall_kB893803v2.

These files contain data for uninstall programs and updates.

they are created during the installation of the programs and updates and contain a card to the back/improper installation.  so if the uninstall files are deleted manually, then the system loses the ability to uninstall all files and registry keys that have been installed.

so for the example provided in your thread topic, that particular file refers to the kb893803 and you'll find probably listed as a windows update in afforestation programmes.
