What exactly does 'VAIO customization Manager' don't? vpmlm.e

This process starts unexpectedly in my task manager, takes about 13% of CPU and about 250 MB or memory. But it makes the fan on my VPCF119FX run strong.

Anyone know what is this process?

Thank you...

JLR - VAIO customization Manager allows the application works properly by providing the recommendation of what music you play or what photos that you find most of Sony and creates a list for you. If you see the VAIO customization Manager application crashes then please run the software update here "http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-download.pl?mdl=VPCF119FX&upd_id=5583&os_id=45". What exactly does the Time Machine backup?

We have a Mac Pro towers (NOT for sale) and Mac mini with several hard drives installed internally.   Time Machine backup all internal disks or just the boot disk?   This can be configured?

Time Machine backs up your default boot partition. However, if you have more than one drive or partition on your Mac (and it is formatted in "Mac OS extended (journaled)"), you can set the Time Machine to save these drives too. You can do this by removing these drives from the list of excluded items in System-> Time Machine-> Options... Preferences, so that the next backup will include all internal hard drives or partitions that you want to back up too.

  • What exactly does the "recovery disk"?

I'm about to reinstall everything on my laptop but would like to know what exactly is the "recovery disk"...

I presume that it formats the HARD drive with a clean installation of the operating system and all applications toshiba as a CD burner, VAP etc. are NOT installed and must be installed afterwards?

Well, the restore CD contains an image of Toshiba. Toshiba picture is a package and contains a Windows operating system, the Toshiba drivers, tools and additional software.
Simply said that it contains everything that you might find preinstalled on the Toshiba laptop.

And Yes; the recovery CD formats the drive HARD integer (also partitions) and install everything again.
It redefines the laptop to factory settings

    See question!

OK, I remembered that I can simply close Thunderbird, use Windows Explorer to copy files of individual mail (without the .msf files) to any external destination and the structure and then delete the files and the .msf files.
The files can be restored at a later date if you wish, and the .msf files will be rebuilt.

  • "Bluetooth is not supported by any version of windows servers... what exactly does that mean?

I am trying to set up a bluetooth connection between my mobile (Nokia X 6) and the new Acer lap top of page that is running windows 7.  In the past, when using Vista and my Samsung phone it was easy through "control panel."  With this new Windows7 however, it does seem to be an option to set up bluetooth.  There is however "help" a section ' how to set up bluetooth or other wireless connections, which begins by saying that you can transfer information via bluetooth and other wireless means, he then goes on to describe these "other" methods wireless, adding a note that "Bluetooth is is not supported by any version of windows server.  The lap top itself has a long side button Wi - Fi bluetooth button, which don't "turn on" or turn on when I press on it.  I'm not very technical interest and just use the computer for my music and photo organizing and other simple functions.  Apologies if it sounds ridiculous, but I think I'm getting conflicting information, is always available for use with windows bluetooth 7, if so does that mean say "he is not supported by windows servers?  I just want to know if I forget something really obvious or if I should stop trying altogether with all bluetooth and focuss on other file transfer methods?  All the advice in plain language or pointing me in the right direction will be so appreciated, thank you very much Frances

Turn off the laptop and look at the bottom of this one.  If it doesn't have Bluetooth installed, there will be a white sticker with BLUETOOTH printed on it.

You don't have an edition of Windows Server.  Those who would be Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2008 R2 and a bit like Vista and Windows 7, they come in many varieties, Web, Standard, Enterprise, data and 32 and 64-bit editions.

When you go into the Control Panel, you see an icon for Bluetooth?  Bluetooth does appear in Device Manager?

  • When I check "you sign out all other computers or devices", what exactly does?

I managed to have more than two Mac want to use my CC Apps.

One of them is a MacBook, I borrowed some time ago (when my good old MacBook was stolen) to continue to work, the other is my iMac, and the third is my new MacBook Pro I am setting up right now.

As I don't have easy access to this borrowed MacBook more, I thought "you sign out all other computers or devices" is the ability to get rid of unnecessary activations and start all over again. In this way, I think that I can activate all my apps on my new MacBook Pro and once again on my iMac.

But how it works? He really disable CC on all devices?

Or what I need to "manually" disable on this MacBook borrowed in any case.

Only disable it on my iMac is not an option, because I (want to be able to) constantly switch between my iMac and my new MacBook Pro. Disable and re-enable are much too heavy.

    Bottom line:

"You sign out all other computers or devices" really turns off all devices (even if you don't have access to it) and start with a clean slate?

    Yes.

I use usually when you go on vacation and from my laptop (usually at the airport for some work) when I know I forgot to turn off on my home or office computer before leaving.  I get disconnected from my home computer and office and I am able to use my laptop on my trip.

When I go home, I start one of my home/office computers and do the same (this time of disconnection from my laptop because I forgot to do upon his return from vacation).

  • What exactly does Inline object offset 'Y '?

    Hello world

I'm confused on the subject line y offset. Does that mean exactly? I looked on the help of adobe, here's what it says.

    Inline
Aligns the object anchored with the baseline of the insertion point. You can adjust the offset Y to position the object above or below the base line. This is the default type of the anchored object. In earlier versions of InDesign, these objects were called graphics.

Then. the baseline is the insertion point?  If the offset is a negative number, doesn't mean that the base line moves upward? How is the object does not move? assistance from adobe say, 'solve it is offset to position the object above or below the base line', it means not the base line should stay and the object moves as a result?

    Thank you very much!

The behavior of inlines is also linked to the leadingof of the line in which they find themselves. When the line spacing specified, a line the line begins with the lower edge on the base line and spacing for the whole line is adjusted height of the inserted object. Change the offset y in such cases would appear to make the object appear fixed while moving the base line upwards or downwards. Is happening what is the amount of 'auto' driving is being adjusted to compensate for the offset.

If the line that the object is inserted using a fixed attack, this attack is in the spotlight, and the inserted object can cover part of the text above. Change the offset will make the Forum appear to move upward or to the low bit at the base, which will be fixed by the assigned key.

  • Waiting for CPU: what exactly does that mean?

    Hi all

I worked on this database (11.2.0.3 on AIX 6.1) try to improve the performance of certain lots of an ERP system developed by my company. These are all processes that work very well in other environments, but here the clock times are horrible for the load and I was seeing 10% CPU, 90% CPU waiting for almost every process. This is the last section of a very long trace file where you can see the invisible "wait."

I know not how to do this: if I run something in the OS with a higher priority than to Oracle, what I will get. "Lack of processor" according to me, is the name for it. My question is: what else can cause this? If the OS say that nothing was on the computer, how can I study the root cause?

Your trace file contains 25 million lines, that is a significant amount of write operations, to be compared with the information that reads one-piece 620K consume dry 4858.
It is necessary to note that writing in the trace file leads to loss of time only when it is caused between measure of elapsed time from a visit to the database. But even if the write operation is due to the outside to measure the time of the call for a database (for example, information about a call, as FETCH #) it can be inside some call parent and will be included in the duration of the call of the mother.

  • What exactly does "Experimental support" mean?

I installed Windows Server 2008 R2 on a virtual computer.  I noticed that the guest operating system is configured as "experimental".

What means exactly to the virtual machine? If an experimental operating system becomes an OS fully supported within 6 months, and they remove the "experimental" this OS, which changes to the virtual machine?

Basically it means it works, but they have not tested on all platforms supported, then they mark it as experimental, this means use at your own risk

    Satine

    Hello Satine,.

A brief response to your query '... ". When a metric is defined on CONFIG = TRUE, the wog is used only to record data and not used for the alert? "is - Yes.

    An explanation of detalied is:
By definition, a configurable parameter should not trigger an alert. Alert is usually for surveillance and performance measures and not the configuration settings. This is one of the logic that drives the current design you see in MS. Yes, there are policies that can be set for these parameters.

ECM framework allows you to save the configuration on a regular basis (collection frequency defined in the default collection file), save the configuration, display the history and compare configurations (for example, last configuration current configuration vs known OR saved the configuration of the target vs saved to target configuration B).

Ragarding MySQL 'official' plug-in, the author (Alex) of the plug-in already posted a message on this thread. My recommendation is to take advantage of the existing range and provide your needs (assuming that is not available out-of-box via the plug-in). Of course, as you have said - it is something that is decided by someone else.

    Kind regards

  • What exactly does a VPN do?

I just set up a VPN using OS X Server on a Mac Mini!

Feeling pretty proud of being given that all my attempts in the past have not led to anything, but now that I put it in place, is it in reality? I was under the impression that if I am away from my home network, I would be able to see my desktop computers or maybe be able to sync to my iPhone via the iTunes wifi synchronization feature, or maybe file transfers, screen sharing, access my Tivo using the records of iPhone app and watch with him... So far I was not able to do this. I know using a VPN is MUCH safer in public hotspots, but felt like having him many more benefits.

    So please help me someone!

    Thanks in advance!

    Josh

You're sort of on the right track.

Take a common scenario - your home network is led by a router (either provided by your ISP, or a third-party device), which uses the (NAT) network address translation to share a public IP address among multiple devices on your internal network. This means that your Mac, your phone, your iPad, your smart TV, Blu - Ray player, printer, etc. are all connected to the private LAN and can get out to the internet through the wider NAT router.

NAT also prevents external devices to your internal network - so no remote users can print to your printer, etc.

With a VPN, you bust essentially a (small) hole through the NAT device to your device remotely, on a public network in some coffee shop downtown, has a connection to the private internal network. It's just that it is on the internal network, but as a second class citizen.

This means that when it is connected through the VPN, you can, indeed, access all internal resources you could if you were physically at home - you can print on your printer, copy files to and from a file server, etc..

The witch hunt, it's that, normally, and for valid reasons, the automatic detection does not work through the VPN. This means that when you are in the Finder and you try to connect to a home server, you can not see the server in the Finder sidebar. If you start screen sharing, you won't see the other hosts of the network as being "available". In order to achieve this level of interaction, you must know the address of the host (s) on the internal network. If you know the address of your file server, for example, you can use the Finder go-> Connect to the menu server, enter the address and connect. It just does not happen automatically. Even if you want to stream your TiVo, you must know the IP address of your TiVo (assuming that the TiVo app allows you to specify an IP address and is based not only on local Autodiscover).
