What happened to the old mailboxes of POP that I created?

I recently spent to use POP mail on my iMac, iPhone & iPad using IMAP. But when I used the POP email account, I had created a few additional mailboxes on my iMac that I used as a storage device. E-mails related to a certain topic I wanted to keep for easy reference, I copied into the appropriate mailbox. But when I disabled the POP account and set up an IMAC account, I have no more these mailboxes. And when I have reactivated the POP account, they just disappeared. The basic boxes are there - Inbox, sent, trash, but those that I have created is gone. What happened to them? What are the mails that I had copied in them? Is it possible to get back them in order to get out of these emails and archive them?

It suddenly occurred to me that Bank of mailboxes on my computer under the old POP account is still on my computer, even if they do not appear in mail. Duh! They are in the Finder > go to record > "~/Library/Mail/V3." Duplicated them, found them and put in my mailbox archives folder. I hope that I'll ever need, in any case.

  • What happened to the little arrow next to that forward/backward keys which allow me to select a page earlier so I don't have to click the back button several times?

I think that the question is quite clear. It's Foxfire 4.0 running on Windows XP Home Edition w / SP3

You can get the menu drop-down by clicking on the previous/next buttons or now the left key pressed until the list is displayed.

If you want the drop-down arrow, you can add it with the add-on of dropmarker rear - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker

  • What happened to the option of maximum length for user-created variables?

In previous versions, I got a field to specify the maximum size when you add a new variable. In Captivate 7 this feature seems to be really well hidden, and I'm not. It seems to me that I still have to be able to increase this default of 15 characters, because you can always have a text box entry more than 15 characters and bind its value to a variable that is defined by the user. But mine are truncated. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, think that you are confused. There has never been a way to specify the maximum size of a variable when you create, because this maximum size is 256. There is always a way to specify the length of a variable when inserting into a container of text (legend or form) and it is exactly at the same place in CP7: when you insert the variable with the X key in setting accordion-shaped, in the dialog box. Previously, the maximum number of characters has been set at 15, now it's 50. If you have made a typo and speaks of CP8 same X is in the properties panel, tab Style, area of character:

  • What happened to the insertion function. It was on the same line as file

What happened to the insertion function? It was on the same line as the files, tools, etc. He's gone. If you want to insert a jpg you sent as an attachment. I have read through the help files and that you can't find the answer. I want my old Thunderbird back! Newer is not always better.

I suspect that you have lost the Mail composition toolbar. Open an entry window, press and hold the < alt > key, type v and check the box for the mail toolbar. I would also allow the Menu bar while you are there.

Another possibility, if the Insert option is missing in the mail toolbar, is that it is spent in composition in plain text mode. Open the settings page of the account assigned by right-clicking on the account in the left pane, select Composition & addressing and tick the box labelled "Dial using the HTML format".

  • What happened to the button on the address bar which allow you to see the pages you had been so that you don't have to click the back button several times? I use it all the time and it is not on FF4.

What happened to the button on the left end of the address bar which allow you to see the pages you had been so that you don't have to click the back button several times? You can look at the drop down window of pages and just choose whatever you want. I use it all the time and it is not on FF4. I want to go back to the old FF.

If you right click on your back button, or click and hold down the mouse button, it will display the list. (I prefer a click-right, because sometimes my fingers slide when I try to click and hold)

  • What happened to the Suites?

So, I'm going to guess that it is old news to almost everyone here.  What happened to the suites?  I have been using CS5.5 for a few years and decided to take a look at my options of upgrade only to find nothing but the cloud of shit.  Honestly, this "all run from the cloud" is just stupid in my opinion.  I know everyone seems to think that a cloud is somehow new and has never been done before.  I hate to burst the bubble of anyone but IBM did for 70 or more years, they just called them mainframes.  Companies still use them and a lot of things cloud that you use, there is a good chance that they are running on an IBM mainframe.  In any case, are there no private no-cloud only, desktop purchase option in my computer, the version of the Suite more?

The software CC installs on your computer. They maybe shouldn't have called 'Creative cloud' because a lot of people think what you think. The part 'cloud' of things refers to the free 'cloud' storage you get, the fact that the software is delivered via the internet instead of a disc, and it checks your subscription via the internet, but everything else is the same as it was. The software is installed on your local system, the software runs on your local system, and you save your files in your local system.

The only downside is that you must pay a subscription fee to keep going instead of a big chunk of money and it's yours forever (although, maybe it's a head for some people - stay current is actually less expensive with the subscription model with the model of permanent license of CS).

Another advantage is that your subscription means that you can install all the software versions of CS6 thanks to the more recent, so that you can stay on the cutting edge all the time if you want to, but you can always have a stable version for you until you are ready to take your project to the new version. I have CC 2014 and 2015 CC CC 2015.3 versions of After Effects all installed on my computer in my freelance studio.

In addition, you have all kinds of new tools and services we had not before CC came along. I especially like the new libraries feature and how it integrates with mobile apps. You could take a picture in London, pull color out of it, a theme it plop in your library (all from your mobile phone), and it appears almost instantly in the workstations in your office in Nashville, TN for anyone on your team to use in your project. It's really convenient.

You also get tons of new fonts Typekit, a nice graphic library, and a few other interesting things.

Now, if you really don't like the idea of the subscription (which I totally understand), you could buy CS6 Adobe again. It is rather updated at this point already and a few questions (depending on what software you use) with operating systems, modern, but you can do it if you want.

What happened to the feature selection layer (control-command + click)? It is totally broken. In earlier versions, it would bring a pop-up menu, by selecting the top layer of that mouse was hit. In CS5, it brings just a list of all the layers, and you have to hunt through the list to the selected layer. GRAND Dérangement. There is a new feature that replaces what Im missing?

Select the tool move and adjust the settings to 'Automatic Selection' in the control panel.
