Firefox Win7 desktop. Address bar impressive Firefox disappeared, like a normal search bar. The so-called Delta Search appears on every new tab, that I opened. The only way to reach the sites I knew was to replace Delta address on the address bar, but now that is gone. Each new tab, I opened is monopolized by the search for Delta. There is a short bar that has appeared on the lower line of the header, as well as an ixquick search box which is also new. How to dispose of Delta & ixquick and get the Awesome bar back? I waited for a while and then decided to close iTunes and start again. When I clicked on the 'X' I got an alert that asked if I really wanted to leave because a download is in progress.

There was no indication of what is happening until my iPhone started to react to installation. Then he was done.

  • What happened to the scroll bars today, 10/01/12?

Now there's just the 2 arrows at the top and bottom of the scroll bar, and there is no way of knowing how long a page will be. The area of the scroll bar is one color.

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

Simply place your mouse over the tabs and the roller wheel. EZ as pie. It works on each tab in the user interface. I'm still the effects of locking control panels and new ones for the different layers of opening. The project, I am working on right now has locked 9 control panels of the effects that can be easily scroll with the mouse without even a click wheel.

  • What happened to the download status bar in Firefox 42?

I can't say when a download is finished, what happened to the status bar in Firefox version 42?

Type of topic: customization< enter > in the address bar.
In the new window, look for the icon. When you find it, press and hold
the left button on it and move it to where you want it to be.
You can move the icons you want here, but
some icons are locked in place.

Also, there is a default button in the Middle at the bottom.

Photo 1, that's what it looks like in the window customize.
Photo 2, this is what it looks like on the toolbar.

  • I can't locate the "search bar" when I type ctrl-f. Where is he?

I display the AVG Security toolbars, Navigation and editing, running Windows XP Pro. I don't know what looks like the search bar, so I can't seem to find it anywhere.

This should appear at the bottom of the screen and the width of the window.

Try in safe mode and with all plugins disabled, maybe something interferes with the search toolbar.

  • My Start Page for Firefox doesn't have one more box to typing me my research in. What happened to the box?

What happened to the search box, I type in? He disappeared on my Firefox Start Page.

Yes. This is the new default value: Home home.

Topic: home page only shows a few clips and has a button to restore the previous session, as appropriate.

If you want a homepage with extras like previous versions of Firefox then put another page than the homepage like www.google.com such as used in versions of Firefox 3 or on the iGoogle homepage ([www.google.com/ig]).

  • What happened to the separate search bar that was in my previous version of firefox 37?

It seems that the search has been integrated in the position of the url bar

There is always a search bar! It could, however, have slipped from your main toolbar, whether due to being crowded out by other icons, or due to a glitch.

You have an infinity icon in your main toolbar (looks like to > >)?

If you want to restore the default set of icons of the toolbar, which should include the search bar, it has a button for this. If you open the customization to the bottom panel, search for "Restore Defaults". This article has more information on customization: Customize Firefox commands, buttons, and toolbars.

Now... There are many modules that could affect your toolbars, others by their design and some by chance. Because we do not have information on what you have installed extensions, a quick test to see if an extension might be spoiling the bar would be to test Firefox Safe mode. It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox.

If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
    • Help menu > restart with disabled modules

    and OK reboot.

Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).

  • Nothing happens when I type a URL in the address bar and press ENTER. Nothing happens if I type anything in the search bar.

Firefox will not go to any URL typed in the address bar. Or it will search for anything typed into the search bar. I tried to open Firefox in Safe Mode, unchecking the compatibility options, the cleaning of my recent history (the history icon is not even appears in the Firefox toolbar more), affecting all the Add-ons "Always enable", restart the computer and uninstall then reinstall Firefox, and there's no up to present work. The uninstall feature does not completely uninstall Firefox because it does not delete my favorites who are all still present. The first symptom of a problem was an error message, the first fix I tried was reinstalling Firefox without uninstalling first. Now, the error message no longer appears, and I don't remember what it was.
