  Since then, apparently, buy an upgrade to pro w8 is useless when you have a business w7 on the key to the business (and do not know the key) AND you are a system integrator and a plan to upgrade your PC in the future after you have installed the W8, I thought... a workaround.

  I have a machine running windows xp that I intend to move to w8. Can I install this windows xp on another machine and then enhance it with another copy of upgrade of windows 8? (so, basically, I have a license of windows xp, I want to use TWICE to install an upgrade to windows 8, on two separate computers).

  Mr President, I fear that you have spent too little time to try to understand this and just unnecessarily threw up this bollocks for a response.

  HP Support Assistant continues to work after expiration of the warranty. You will no longer updates after awhile because HP does not release updated constantly, but other functions will work.

  The software remains on the computer, but does not work. Windows will try to launch it, always default. You would like to renew the subscription, or uninstall the software.
