What happens if I lose my Apple Watch?

It works like find my iPhone?

is it possible to find a lost watch?

Hello

There is currently no way to physically locate Apple Watch (in a similar way to how the find my iPhone can be used to locate a lost iPhone). Unlike some other Apple devices, the Watch has a built-in GPS functions.

However, locking Activation can be used to disable the cards Pay of Apple on your watch and prevent unauthorized use of the watch if it is lost or stolen.

Lock activation is automatically enabled for your watch if you find my iPhone put in place on your iPhone. If your watch is lost or fly, turn on Mark as missing in the app on your iPhone or on a computer via iCloud.com watch:

  • What happens if I remove my Apple ID to my Macbook?

I'm selling my 2009 MacBook running the Mavericks. The person who is very interested in purchasing him wants to continue to run the Mavericks because the main program it uses does not work on El Capitan or Snow Leopard. I live abroad and my old snow leopard disks are not available; buried deep inside a unknown with a parent. The country where I live has zero official presence from Apple, and it would take weeks to have Snow Leopard disks delivered to me.

I created a bootable Mavericks installation drive I want to install on a second partition and then crush the first partition with zeros using disk utility, or that I am positive I copied everything I want to bring with me on my external drive, I could just drive to zero and start from scratch on a partition.

I know to disable allow iTunes, disconnect from iCloud, iMessages, iBooks, other software that requires authorization, etc... I realize that I have to use my Apple ID when I install the Mavericks on the second partition. The buyer realizes that he will not be able to update the software or receive updates to the operating system unless he buys discs from Snow Leopard. This isn't a problem that he wants and be happy with the Mavericks.

My thought is that as long as the new buyer not my Apple ID password it would have no access to my account. All that would happen is that my ID Apple would be in use on the MacBook to the Mavericks only. What will happen if in the future I have cancelled my Apple ID and created another I still have an iPad? Is there a problem with the MacBook to the new owner (outside the known situation of not being able to update the operating system)? The new owner would be able to use his Apple ID with iTunes while Mavericks is related to my Apple ID - a MacBook using two Apple ID? Any other thoughts on what I anticipate?

  • What is the reason for the Apple Watch defaulting to 1 GB for playlists that can be stored on the watch?

2GB is not automatically assigned to be used specifically for purposes of music? If this is true then I can't understand why it would default to a lower capacity.

    Hello

It is a community based on the user, though I'm afraid that no one here can tell you why Apple chose to configure Apple Watch with a default 1 GB playlist storage limit (also, should not here to speculate on decisions of Apple).

  • What is the steps of double Apple Watch already saved on the iPhone?

When I look at my health application, it shows the two steps saved on my iPhone in my pocket and not on my watch. Are these steps counted twice? How does Apple make them accurate and not counted twice?

    Hello

No, your efforts are not counted twice.

Health and fitness data from other sources, iPhone, and Apple Watch are grouped within the app to health on the iPhone, which allows you to adjust the results to avoid any double counting of data from different sources.

  • Did I lose Apple Watch data if I reset my iPhone?

    Greetings,

I bought iPhone 6s and want to synchronize the activity and health data history for this new phone with no other data from my old iPhone. So, I deleted all my apps and data from the old iPhone. Now, I want to do a factory for the older iPhone reset so I can make a clean backup that contains data of historic activity and health only.

If I do the wipe the phone completely, I'll lose data Apple Watch?

    Best regards

    Salah

    Hello Salah,

Thank you for contributing to the communities of Apple Support.

Congratulations on your new iPhone! It seems that you prepare transfer data to the new device.

If the plant reset you your iPhone, all data will be erased. I'd say no pairing your Apple Watch of your old iPhone first, as mentioned in transfer the contents of an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch on a new device:

    Before you start

    • If you have an Apple Watch and you are about to move the contents of a new iPhone, you must cancel the pairing of your watch from your current iPhone first. Unpairing automatically backup your Apple Watch. Now you are ready to set up your new iPhone. After that, you can pair your Apple Watch with your new iPhone.

Since you've already deleted the other data and applications on your old iPhone, I recommend the suite of measures to transfer the contents of an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch on a new device after you UN-pair the watch. This will ensure that the activity and health data are transferred to your new iPhone.

    See you soon.

  • Running w / HR monitor AND headphones wireless w / Apple Watch 2 series

Since obtaining Apple Watch series 2, I've been out running with wireless headphones Powerbeats2 alongside the screen TickR HR, both related to the watch simultaneously via Bluetooth. While this works great, I wonder if I can do even better and lose the style HR chest strap monitor. Has anyone had success with wireless headphones that double as a monitor of human resources (e.g., Bose Soundsport Pulse), and specifies how was the heart rate?

    Hello

Apple Watch includes a heart rate sensor built-in.

If you have not already done so, you can try to use this instead of an external monitor. When you use the application of the workout, the heart rate is measured continuously during the training:
