You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

  • Trying to access the Archives of emails to a version of thunderbird 2006

I have some old email with the information that I need to access. I have saved on the disk, but they have not used in years. Now, I need to try to access the files. The external file is named "mail" and 3 subfolders named 'local folders' and then two appointed by servers pop they were associated.

In the files, I have files named Inbox (without file extension) and inbox.msf. Files without extensions seem to contain all data.

I can't import these messages into the current version of thunderbird. Any ideas on how I might be able to access old emails?

Thanks... it's a little tricky, so in case anyone has the same problems on the line: you must use "import a mbox file" (which seemed to me would work for an .mbox file extension). It worked.

    Thank you!

    Hi YongWaiMan,

You can run scanning of the file system [SFC] checker on the computer that will replace missing or corrupt files & see if you can download and run wic_x86_enu.exe.

What files are needed to access the aspect of the heritage of GarageBand? After the upgrade my MacBook Pro and Mac Pro, the appearance of the inheritance is only accessible to the general public on the MacBook Pro. What files are needed for these instruments of the legacy and the filters on my MacPro? I read that the removal and reinstallation of GarageBand 6.05 will do but 6.05 GB certificates have expired and is no longer allow it to be installed. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You always have an installer for GarageBand 11?  An installation of iLife 11 DVD or the DVD Installer original system for snowLeopard with applications for funding?

You can install GarageBand 11 of these media, if you set the date system your mac to a date until the installer has been released. Then, the certificate will be valid.

the appearance of the inheritance is only accessible to the general public on the MacBook Pro.

But because of legacy patches are available on your MacBook pro, you can copy all the missing files from the library of the Instrument and loop library in your other Mac.

Compare these files in the folder/library on your system drive on Mac of high level.

    The instrument library: Library/Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Instrument.

    and loop library: / Library/Audio/Apple Loops/Apple /.

Copy all the files to the corresponding folders on your MacBook Pro that is not there.

  • I need to access sites that require adobe flash player on the iPad.  What can I use to allow me to access?

I need to access sites that require adobe flash player on the iPad.  I can access these sites on my imac with adobe flash player then why not on my ipad.

What can I use to allow me access to these sites, which are for educational purposes for my grandson to allow him to do his homework?

While you can get Adobe Flash on the iMac, you can't be on the iPad. There are some browsers in the App Store that will emulate flash, I think that one of them is atomic, or something like that. Do a search on the App Store and you should find something.

    Hello

I was wondering what information you must provide to meet the requirements of the "proof of purchase". I'm trying to order replacement windows installation media.
Also, is it still possible if my version is an OEM version?
    Thank you

The problem is that OEM System Builder copies are not for end users to install on their own computer.  The license of SB on the wrapper warns that it is for an installation on a computer for sale to customers.  Setup of OEM software is responsible for support then yes I think you're out of luck.
