What is a backup name invalid

I'm trying to back up files to a cd, and the names I'm picking are not valid channels?  What is a path name valid?

If you try to do it with NTBackup, please note that NTBackup cannot back up on cd/dvd.

  • What makes a procedure deemed invalid?

    Hi all

I'm jut wondering that what makes a procedure deemed invalid?

    Thanks for your comments.

Can be any number of things that cause a procedure to go invalid. A few examples:

    1. The permissions changed on one of the referenced objects.
    2. A package or procedure that is called by the procedure has changed
    3. A referenced object fell

A procedure is invalid does not mean that it cannot be made valid again by recompiling (or just qualifying, which will trigger an attempt to recompile it).

  • Impdp: Look to the right, but always an ORA-39087: directory name invalid

It is quite mysterious, as much as I did it several more times without problems.

I created the C:\OracleImportTest directory on the file system of the server, created a matching object in the directory DP_DIR in Oracle and granted my user read and write access to it. I've been staring at it and try different things all morning, but I always get the following results:

The SERVICE_NAME is used to specify the Instance (in a CAR) that you want to use for importing:

    • What version of Windows are you using?
    • How long have you been faced with this problem?
    • What were the changes made before the show?
    • What is the full error message that you receive?

I recommend the clean boot and try to install in clean boot state.
Configuration of your system in a clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.
See the following article in the Microsoft KB for more information on how to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

  • What defines the reference name in a type library

I've created a DLL in CVI 9.1 for use with VB6.  I used a function (.fp) workgroup file to define the functions exported from the DLL.

We add the DLL as a reference to the VB6 project, which allows functions defined in the .fp to be used directly from VB6 without using info prototype of any kind.

One problem with this regime removes a reference from Visual Basic 6 development environment - there is no obvious way to do it - there is no possibility to "remove the reference.  We invariably liquidation brute force tearing all this reference to the DLL in the registry and remove the DLL itself the facility so that VB6 keep find it and insisting on using it.

One aspect is the name of the reference.  What estblishes the name of the reference to the VB6 development environment?  What is the name of the DLL?  It is the name of the .fp file?

I could run an experience I guess, but maybe someone knows and can tell me.

    Thank you.

It turns out that the name of the file function group (.fp) establishes the name of the reference when the DLL is added to the Visual Basic 6 development environment.

The developer can see the associated DLL name, but the reference itself is the name of the group file function that may or may not be the same name as the DLL, the project, space to work or anything else.

  • What files are backup using Windows backup

I have Windows Vista and if I click on "Start/Control Panel/Back up your files" which files are saved?  Will be all my folders under the folder of saved Documents?   Also, I always choose to use a new CD, can I get a complete the back of my files on the CD?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi zipone,.

The following article covers how backup in Vista.  You will notice that it indicates he backup certain file types and you can change the choice at this time here in the process.  http://www.ehow.com/how_2058419_backup-files-windows-vista.html.

Here is another article on the backup process that is a little more detailed: http://www.vista4beginners.com/How-to-backup-your-data.

Here is another article on what Vista will choose backup and what you choose to back up: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/How-does-Windows-choose-which-files-to-back-up.

If you choose to save to a CD, it backs up all selected for this CD (as long as there is enough space).

Note that this is not a full image backup but just a selective or full of designated files backup (mainly data, videos, audios and other).  For image backups (if your version of Vista is supported, or you use a 3rd party program), it is quite different.  After the back if you are interested in information on this subject.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck.

  • What are the official names of the parts of the window of Windows 7?

I searched the official help files, but they don't show a picture of Notepad and talk of the title bar and the bar of menu etc.  I suppose it's useful for * Notepad * and many other applications that not much has changed...

But I want to know the details of the new Windows 7 Windows Explorer window...

You know, the "Aero" window  These things you have official names?

Is it still the bar when he has no title of title (only the keys of control: reduce, enlarge, close)?

What is the official label for the next bar?  "Navigation/Search Bar?  "Go-go Bar"?

And the following?  "Command bar"?  "Standard toolbar?

I was going to create an image, but I found one in the Windows Help file (I saw only Notepad example you mentioned first, but discovered an example of folder too).  Here's how to get there:

1 - Press Windows-F1 to open Windows Help & Support.
2 - Click on "learn the basics of Windows.
    3. under the heading programs, files and folders, click work with files and folders
4 - scroll down (about halfway) under the heading understanding the parts of a window, where you will see the example image.
The menu bar and the status bar are available, but disabled by default, so they are not included in the description.
Also, not described is the title bar (although still there and visible on the technical level, the themes Aero comes hide text).  The command menu that normally indicates a program's icon is there too, just invisible (click in the upper left corner to see the menu).

Under the 'C' drive I have marked files {0A34A52C-C54F-41B4-961F-0AB8C0D8F2E5. What are they, where did they come, I can remove them?
Where is there a good list of names of files and extensions, complete with the system they are generated from, and a description of their basic function?

It's a file or a folder? Folders with long strings Pseudo-aleatoire for names often remain from a Windows Update that should have been deleted. They can be removed, even if they have permissions issues when you try.

  • What is a 'glyph name "?

What is the meaning of a "glyph name.  Is the 'glyph name' a product of Type font.  For example, I see a type of F3 font in an adobe pdf file, can I determine the 'glyph name' who?  How does it work?

    Thank you

In the non - CID fonts all glyphs (characters to a font) have a name. The name is used to connect strings that contain numbers through encodings that map numbers to names, in the glyphs in the font. There is always a coding in effect even if the file contains a specific. More work for research, which could be any random name that corresponds to a generated font, they are often used for the extraction of text, which can be based on research of names as 'A' and 'comma '.

What do you mean by "type of F3 font? There is not this type of fonts in PDF format. Please be specific on what kind of dictionary contains this key and its value.
