  I have 2 NETWORK card on my pc. INA joined area that I can see other clients in my network places. and another static IP on a workgrup.

  My problem is that I can't see the customers on the workgrup. What should I do?

  You cannot be attached both a domain and a workgroup at the same time. It won't work. If you are connected to a domain, you will not be able to see the resources on a network of working group and vice versa.

  A Windows Server domain is a logical group of computers running versions of Microsoft Windows operating system that share a central directory database. This central database (called Active Directory from Windows 2000 [1], Domain Services Active Directory in Windows Server 2008 and Server 2008 R2, also referred to as NT Directory Services on operating systems Windows NT, or NTDS) contains the user accounts and the security information for resources in this area. Each person who uses computers in a domain receives its own unique account or user name. This account can then be assigned access to resources within the domain.

  In a domain, the directory resides on computers that are configured as "domain controllers." A domain controller is a server that manages all aspects related to security between the user and domain interactions, centralizing administration and security. A Windows Server domain is usually adapted to the companies and/or organizations when more than 10 PCs are in use.

  Working groups Windows, on the other hand, is the other model to group windows computers in a network environment that comes with Windows. Workgroup computers are considered to be 'standalone' - i.e. There is no formal affiliation or the authentication process formed by the working group. A working group has no servers and clients, and as such, it represents the paradigm of Peer-to-Peer network (or from Client to Client), rather than to centralised architecture constituted by Client-Server. Working groups are considered difficult to manage beyond a dozen clients and lack of unique signature, scalability, resilience disaster recovery and many features of security functionality. Working groups of Windows are more suitable for small or office networks home.

  A domain does not refer to a single location or a specific type of network configuration. Computers in a domain can share a physical proximity on a small LAN, or they may be located in different parts of the world. As long as they can communicate, their physical position is irrelevant.

  Active Directory computers within a domain can be assigned in OUs based on location, organizational structure, or other factors. In the area of the original Windows Server machines system (shipped with Windows NT 3.x/4) could only be seen in two States of administrative tools, 1) computers detected (on the network) and 2) computers which were actually in the domain. Active Directory makes it easier for administrators to manage and deploy changes to the network and political (see Group Policy) to all connected machines to the domain.

  Computers can connect to a domain easily via LAN or WAN using a VPN connection. The users in a domain are able to use enhanced security for the VPN connection with the support of a certification authority that is granted when a field is added to a network, and thus the smart cards and digital certificates can be used to confirm the identities and protect the stored information.

I am sure there are many others that could be added, but this is a pretty comprehensive list.  I hope you find what you need to complete the setup of your e-mail applications.

  I noticed information differs from site to site, but as I've learned over time, masking the area and companies buying other companies, I just studied all the information that I could find and also if one of the names of hosts or ports does not work, then you can continue see below on this page to see if this information is the same. At that point, if you do not find what you need here, I would say that you have done all you can do before contacting appropriate for your information by email support team.

  Most of the links is active and those listed below should send you directly the pages I pulled this information since then, but only a few of them came from the real support of the sites themselves (Apple support was vague, as well as Microsoft, Macintosh and commonly used Internet services providers). Save you time by searching here first.  I hope that you will find what you need in this one-stop-shop and if you get an email that is not listed here, please report it below and I'll add it to this original document.

  Finally, as this information comes to the forum and other non-official sites, I want to add that it is a document of copy/paste/edit-for-easy-read I created in my spare time. It is a very long document, so I do is recommended to use the search and find keys to find the email that you need, but the upper part of this definition has as to what the servers, ports and are host names and the basic setup in case you need to know what are these options and their meanings.

  Here are the most common settings needed to implement most of the Clients POP3/IMAP e-mail or devices:

  • All other parameters are the same.
  • Username = [email protected]
  • Password = the password you set up when you set up your mailbox

    • Outgoing requires the authentication of the server (typically found in the settings or advanced options)
    • Do NOT select "Log on using Secure Password Authentication".
    • Use the same username and password as incoming or select "use same settings as incoming.
    • Outgoing server port= 2525 or 587
      • It is subject to change according to individual preferences of your ISP.

  Note - Replace with your domain name for "yourdomain.com" and replace the first part of your e-mail address for "user".

  Email ports
  For networks, a port means endpoint to a logical connection. The port number identifies what type of port it is. Here's the e-mail ports by default for:

  • POP3 - port 110
  • IMAP - port 143
  • SMTP - port 25
  • HTTP - port 80
  • (SSMTP) - port 465 secure SMTP Protocol
  • Secure IMAP (SSL IMAP4) - port 585
  • IMAP4 over SSL (IMAPS) - port 993
  • Secure POP3 (POP) SSL - port 995.

  It is just to recap, a series of ports for people who need this information when you configure the HP ePrint app so that they could see their email from the app, I've collected over time.  I am sure that other applications also need this information.  Although long, I couldn't find a more complete place to retrieve this information.  Feel free to post additional information, faulty information or other associates subject below that it is simply a collection of data and it would be virtually impossible to test all of them.   Hello, I used the same file crossdomain.xml years. Now with the release of flash player 10 my application has stopped working. All my users on Flash player 9 work fine, but for some reason any 10 does not work.
  
  I have my swf on a domain and I get my data from another domain; always forced me to use crossdomain.xml file which worked perfect so far. I think I need to change something in the file I'm not sure what. I have attached the code that is in my current crossdomain.xml.

  I think I understand my problem and I wanted to post here because I couldn't find any documentation on it. If someone does not know where the documentation on this is please reply with the url.

  Years, I had my crossdomain.xml file to:

  It worked up to flash 10. A new security feature has been added (do not know what or why) and it stopped working. The solution? I had to add an another crossdomain.xml originally from my domain name:

  http://mydomain.com/crossdomain.XML

  Yet once again, I don't have documentation to support this place, but for some reason any, he worked.
