What is CH 0 output power awg PXI - 5422?
I would like to know what is the minimum and maximum of the CH 0 terminal power in my AWG. It is inserted in a PXI - 1031 dc chassis. I looked through the sheet attached PXI - 5422 and page 10, it lists some tension, the configuration of the amplifier and the dBm output power. For example, Low Gain--> Vpp--> dBm 4.0 1.00 seems to be a unit of energy conversion because putting Vpp 1.00 through the equation of power gives Pout = 10 * log(V^2/R*1000) = 10 * log([(1.00/(sqrt(2)*2)]^2/50*1000) = 4,0 dBm written on the technical data sheet . In my equation, I took the peak voltage in crete, divided by 2 to get the voltage Amplitude divided by sqrt (2) to convert it to RMS and then used the power = voltage ^ equation 2/resistance and finally the Watts to the conversion of dBm. I guess as a 50 ohm load for which is what my AWG is currently set to.
If my analysis is correct, this implies the PXI - 5422 has AWG of a range of output of-20, 50 dB (0,00891 Watts) up to 25.6 dBm (363 mW). The problem is that the 2 I work with scientists say it's too much power, because the output power of the GTS should be able to be directly connected to the digitizer we (NI PXI-5761) and turn off the 25.6dBm will definitely FRY. According to them, a range of 0-10 dBm is more reasonable than the power output CH0 AWG.
My analysis is correct? Further reflection?
Thanks for the research!
Hello
It's Marcus of Engineering Application at National Instruments. I've reviewed over your math and you are correct in your calculations. To determine the power output of your PXI-5422, you will need to know the Vpps that you use and also the load to which you connect to the device. These factors will then determine the power output of your PXI-5422.
Kind regards
Marcus

Hi, I'm looking for a vi that applies to an input through the AWG (PXI-5421) signal and measures the output through the SEARCH (PXI-5122). In particular, I'm trying to apply an entry by a multiplexer, then close this channel of the multiplexer through which the entry came and then measure the output using the SEARCH signal.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Hello Deepjunior,
I understand that you wanted to find an application that will be output on an AWG device and acquire a table digitizer at the same time. While there are many methods to achieve this, the easiest starting point would be to just take a simple example of niFgen and a simple example of niScope and run them together or combine them. According to exactly what your application requires, you may need to implement additional features, but it is a good starting point.
In particular, you can find an example of this from the example of area developer program: OR-TCLK synchronize AWG and digitizer high speed. Basically, this example combines niFgen and niScope examples and using the API OR-TCLK to synchronize devices. I recommend watching the program and trying to start from there. Hope this helps,

What USB port output power offers Satellite M70-159
Hello!
I have a Satellite M70-159 and I am looking to buy a 2.5 external HARD drive ".
I would like to know if the power supplied by the USB port of my laptop is 500mA or 1000mA because the disc external HARD I want to buy needs 1000mA to work.Eitherwise what I can do to provide external power to work HARD disk?
Thank you
Hello
To my knowledge the notebooks USB ports provides the standard power of 500 my.
Generally if an external USB HDD what needs more than 500mA so special, the power cable external power is supplied with version 2.5, HARD drive or HARD drive comes with a double USB cable.
I hear double cable USB cable that supports 2 USB Sockets. In this case, you can connect the HARD drive to two USB ports. This picture date of arrival:

Output power of the frequency spectrum
Hello
I have a pretty simple question. I m using the power spectrum of FFT and PSD vi. and have trouble understand output frequencies. If I understand the first line is DC-value and delta frequency then describe the following frequencies. But when I put for example in 8 points say sampling frequency of 4 Hz = 2 seconds of data to analyze, I'll be back 4 lines of data (including 0). If the first is DC, then the 2nd should be 1 / 2 Hz 1 Hz = 3rd place and 4th place = 3 / 2 Hz, but what about the frequency of 2 Hz Nyquist, why Don t I get this one? or is there something I don't understand?
I also tried the example of Units.vi of FFT spectrum and can understand, but I still Don t get it.
Help, please!
Best
Jesper
FFT returns to power in frequency bins. The frequency of the bins is determined by the Fs (sampling frequency) divided by N (number of points), from DC (0Hz). For your case, the table returned would be:
Bin 0: 0-0.5 Hz
Bin 1: 0, 5 - 1 Hz
Tray 2: 1-1.5 Hz
Bin 3: 1.5 - 2 Hz
So effectively Bin 3 holds the power of 1.5 to 2 Hz (which contains your Nyquist frequency).

Hello world!
I wanted to my screen of Ikan extrenal directly from the camera. And now I'm stuck. First I thought that good cable should be LEMO in DC (quite expensive and hard to find), but now I think that good is Hirose 4 pin in DC. Which is correct?
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I just realized that there is a post open on power output, then perhaps someone can verify is this cable will work for me:
http://www.creativevideo.co.uk/index.php?t=product/Hawk-woods_la-48
Not sure is above one is 4 pin...It's a standard pin 4 HRS depending on the two Sockets at the rear left of the F5/55 (without the VCR 4 k attached)
There is no connector Lemo on the F5/55 standard.
Check with HawkWoods they advertise it is be appropriate for the BlackMagic and may be wired differently to standard HRS DC wiring.

What are the icons of power control Widget?
I've had my Motorola Atrix HD LTE for about a week now.
I have the power control Widget on my main screen so I can quickly turn on/off wifi, bluetooth, etc. There is an icon on the widget, I don't know what it controls. It is two half circle arrows (see image). What is - this and it controls?
Thank you!
Adjustment power widget The Power control Widget gives you a brief overview of some of the tools that can drain your battery. The widget can enable / disable several features: Wi - Fi, Bluetooth, location (GPS) synchronization and also to adjust the brightness of the screen.
Synchronization means sycing contacts, facebook widgets and other background data.

Calculation of the frequency of real output of a PXI-5402
I have a card PXI-5402, sitting in a high chassis. I'm only interested in the sine wave output at frequencies up to about 10 kHz. I know that it is possible to request an output frequency and then interrogate the acutal output frequency but I prefer to be able to calculate before hand. All I can find in the literature is a figure of 0.355uHz for the frequency resolution.
Is there a better description of the frequency resolution? If this is not the case, the resolution is exactly 0.355uHz or is it an approximation (to 3 significant digits)?
This webcast is a great way to learn the process including the NI 5402 5406 OR exploit to generate periodic duty: http://www.ni.com/webcast/75/en/
The 0.355uHz value is a theoretical value of the frequency rate achievable depending on the size of the accumulator Phase and clock frequency. It's the closest thing I can find on ni.com that you can use to calculate the value: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370524R-01/siggenhelp/ni_5401_11_31_frequency_resolution_and...
According to me, Fc for the NI 5402/5406 must be 100M and the size of the accumulator is 48 bits. Frequency resolution so = Fc / 2N = (100 × 10 ^ 6) / 2 ^ 48 = 3.55271368e - 7
Keep in mind that the device has a VCXO frequency accuracy specification of + / 25ppm, if you have no PLL block him to a better source.

What is a digital output (DO) good for?
Actually, I wanted to use the outputs digital to move from a 24 VDC circuit (to turn on/off other devices etc.).
But the current output outputs digital is so low that I have even impossible to pass an opto-coupler (opto isolator).
That's why I wonder you use outputs digital for if you cannot use them to change anything?
Of course, I can create a circuit MOSFETS or transistors to switch 24VDC power with the TTL 5V digital output signal. But I guess that most of you do not :-)
And of course, I know that I can buy OR relay modules/cards. In fact, I have many digital outputs available and do not want to buy new modules/cards.
Now, I can test and actually I get 10mA @ 5V on a digital output of NI 9401 (DIO), using the digital output to pass an opto-Coupler.
It seems that the information contained in the data sheet are supposed to mean something else...

what it means if the power LED flashes red, that I am plugged into the power outlet
help what is a flashing red light on average power
Yes, the batteries in laptops are like any other rechargeable battery, they have a life cycle. Since the bits of information so far, it sounds as if you do not want to replace the battery. You can see what is essentially a stack to the page linked below:
How to replace your laptop battery
http://www.Dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-replace-your-laptop-battery.htmlWhat I would say has visited support site for the manufacturer of your laptop; using your specific model name/number search for laptops support page. You should be able to get some type of documentation that will explain the flashing red light. Also get the specifications for the battery of your specific model (see technical data). Though on checking support site for the manufacturer to see if they have their own forums, if so you may be able to find details about the light, and what is involved in the specific battery in your laptop.

What is the link state Power Management under PCI Express power management Options list
What is link State Power Management under PCI Express power management Options list.
What is link State Power Management under PCI Express power management Options list.
Hello
The PCI Express Link State Power Management option is part of the PCI-E specification and is working with the State active power management (ASPM) in Windows 7.
It is a complex subject, but can be simply described as follows.
There are 2 levels of power management in PCI Express options.
The difference between these 2 options are the energy savings compared to the latency (time to recover from sleep state).
If you select the first option, moderate energy savings, energy savings are lower, but the time to recover from sleep state (latency) is much shorter.
If you select Maximum energy savings, energy savings are more important, but the time to recover from sleep state (latency) is much longer.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Windows 7

[I have two almost identical laptops Lenovo T61p and running W7 64 Ultimate b: has] has an Intel T7700 processor and 8 GB of RAM. [B] has a CPU of Intel T8300 with 4 GB of RAM. They are clocked at 2.6 GHz and have identical hard drives.
When the system is running Windows Experience Index, it does to 2.6 GHz. It doesn't matter what is the result.
When the system B runs the WEI, it becomes 780 MHz. In the end, he will return to run at 2.6 GHz. Needless to say that it will reduce its index to I / 2 of the other system. During any normal operation, the processor remains a 2.6 GHz
All other values of the indices are similar and irrelevant.
As far as I checked, the two system has the same configuration of power to maximum performance, I did not miss something. MSCONFIG are also identical.
Any ideas about where to look to fix this behavior?
See you soon
Rolando
WEI is a meaningless number that does not reflect anything in reality. You win nothing in this hunt. Because it is a useless number, that it has been deleted in windows 8

Someone tell me, what is "CCE output ranking" and why this is receptive used by my router?
Hello Sebastian,.
EAC is the engine of common classification. I think that its used to "match" traffic for features like qos, nat, etc.. ". Based on the "HS in you ' out, some features on the direction of the output are originally be punted packets. You can try "debug ip cef drop" for a few seconds while the meter is incremented, usually it will give a reason to punt. The most common reasons are listed below.
ACL log or log-entry option (or)
An unreachable next hop for a route (or)
A missing arp entry for a next jump (or)
Entry to arp for outside nat... etc.
