Anyone who knows what other types could be used?

    Hello

Hmm, well I've never heard of Gigabyte WLAN cards and I don't know laptops that are equipped with these cards.

I checked Toshiba Web site and some Satellite A30 models shipped with a card Atheros and Intel WLAN. So, I recommend buying a those manufactures wireless network card.
For example Wireless LAN Mini PCI card (2, 4 GHz, 802 11 b) PA3212U-3MPC should be compatible.

    Good bye

The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported.

The SIM card that you have currently installed in this iPhone is a carrier that is not supported in the title of the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This isn't a problem with the hardware with the iPhone. Please insert a different SIM card of a carrier supported or to ask that this iPhone be unlocked by your operator. For more information, contact Apple.

Not sure what your question is. The error message is clear: the device is locked to another carrier. It must be unlocked before you can use the SIM card, you try to use. Contact the carrier to get it resolved. Only they can help you with this.

    Hello, Jamesblog!

Thank you for joining the communities Support from Apple! Looks like you're need to insert a SIM card of nano in the iPhone OS. I know how it is important to be able to insert the SIM card to activate the iPhone as well. Read this article here that indicate you how remove or change the SIM in your iPhone or iPad.

Even if the IS not specifically listed, it's the same steps as indicated for models of iPhone with the map on the side.

  • A Virgin Mobile iPhone SIM card 5 could be integrated into an iPhone SE for the Sprint.

I currently have an iPhone 5 to Virgin Mobile, I want to update an iPhone, but Virgin Mobile does not currently offer the iPhone SE. If I bought an iPhone for Sprint SE (Virgin Mobile is owned by Sprint) will fit my old SIM to the iPhone 5?

No, because even if Virgin Mobile are owned by Sprint, they are a different society and in addition, we must remember that the Sprint is a CDMA provider and Virgin Mobile are GSM, so if you want a new iPhone, then perhaps to cancel your contract with Virgin Mobile and a contract with another supplier of GSM like AT & T or T-Mobile.

If you wanted a CDMA provider, then you can take a look at Verizon.

  • Invalid SIM on the iPhone to Verizon unlocked replacement

I had an iPhone 6s recently, but lately I cracked the screen, and when I went to Apple Store, they have kindly provided a new phone replacement rather than a replacement of the screen because, they said, replacements of the screen for the s 6 was not yet available.  Then, everything worked fine in the United States for a month or two, but now I came in another country, I put in another known working SIM card, and he at first said "Activation required" (while on another iPhone with the same SIM card it comes immediately started to use the SIM very well).  When I went through the first few steps of activation, he set up a screen that says

    Invalid SIM

The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported. The SIM card that you have currently installed in this iPhone is a carrier that is not supported in the title of the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. I then called Verizon and they told me that they do not block iPhones. They said I need to contact Apple.  I called Apple Care, and the person I spoke made me do restore itunes procedure, which incidentally is extremely painful, since took hours and many attempts due to a combination of buggy Internet connection in the hotel, who need to download a set of 2 GB update, iTunes is not not able to resume an interrupted download.  After restoring to iTunes, it gave me the same problem.

When I called Apple, I asked if the person did not have this problem, and he said he was and that is how solve you that problem, but I don't think he really was.  He is described very well in this other discussion here: Re: SIM not valid but unlocked?

The message said things need to go to support second-level or senior engineer, etc. and I tried to use that language, but after that just get after triage, I got was a front-line guy who claimed that he could solve this problem. But his "miracle" did nothing.  He also responded when I asked how it happened is something 'glitched' when I put SIM card. but that has been proved wrong when I restored it from a backup that was from the day before my trip, and improved anything.

Why can't Apple Care reps learn more about this problem and immediately he effectively treat or move users to someone who can? Does anyone know of no official statement of this problem and how to deal from Apple?

I still support *, until the Sun come up in Cupertino. I'll keep you posted when / if it is resolved.

Follow-up on my experience since the first post: return of the person to Apple Care kindly called me the next day, and when I pointed out that the same thing happened after I did the restore itunes procedure, but that it has not fixed the problem, he said he had to check with some people there. Then he'll be back on the line and said that they would have to make some changes that can last a few minutes or a few hours to change the 'activation policy.  Then he reminded me a little later and said that I should now make the procedure of restore itunes once more and that should not require downloading 2 GB this time, so it should go a lot faster (and no need to retry), and it should work really this time.  He was right; now it's working.

Unfortunately, I lost a lot of these new applications. can someone please send screenshots of an iPhone running 6s with applications shown. I need pages other than the home page. Thank you!

'Stock' apps are part of the installation of iOS and cannot be removed, so there is nothing to verify or prove.

When you move to a new phone, just need restoring your old backup phone and compatible applications will be synchronized to the new.

What happens to the data on my iPhone 5 and iPad if I have to cancel my contract with O2?

I can't say for sure, but probably nothing will happen for her.  When my wife got a new iPhone, we disconnected his former service. We went there on a few months later and everything was still there, it just wouldn't connect a data plan or phone of course service. It has worked well for a wi - fi connection.

You can not. If it is locked to a carrier and you want to use another carrier, you will need to contact one so that it is locked and ask for an unlock. Otherwise, there is nothing you can do.
