What is RTUseMutexOptimization in ni - rt.ini?

Hello

does anyone know what described RTUseMutexOptimization in ini or-RT. ?

I have two different - time real-systems pxi (LabVIEW 2009 SP1), with RTUseMutexOptimization = TRUE, the other does not have this entry in the ni - rt.ini.

Thanks in advance,

Ayoub

Hello

This ini token is only internal. Please do not change or delete it.

What is ehthumbs_vista.db and desktop.ini and is it OK to delete and if so how to remove

    Thank you

    Hello, zoolady

ehthumbs_vista. DB, that's where the Media Center records the thumbnails for media.
Desktop.ini stores the settings for this particular file.

It's good to remove them both, but they will be re-created automatically. They must be hidden by default, so you can choose to simply do not show the files hidden instead.

  • VI does not take into account my INI file settings

I created a VI Labview 7.1 in 2006 on Windows XP.

Now I wanted to use it again, under the execution engine, but now I have Windows 7 and the control panel is different.

On my current computer should I use Windows system police 125% otherwise, I would not see stuff on my screen. This causes the police on the VI to invade other objects, and it looks messy. If I change the system fonr to 100% then the VI looks good, just I can't really use my computer for anything else to this 100% font setting.

I have no Labview license more, so I can't edit the VI, what I can do is run the EXE in the runtime.

I thought that I would write in my file ini VI, to compensate for the enlargement of fonts:

    FPFont = 'Arial' 7
    BDFont = 'Arial' 7
    appFont = 'Arial' 7
    dialogFont = 'Arial' 7
    systemFont = "Arial" 7

In fact, it's what is in the ini file.

The problem is the appearance of the VI is not performed by what I put in the ini file. 7 at the end of the lines was supposed to set the font to be small (size 7), but it does nothing.

What's wrong? How to solve this problem?

What is the name of the ini file and where is it located?

The first line in the ini file must contain the program name in the square brackets. What is the name of the application?

  • XP pro do not start after changing the Boot.ini file

The problem is that my C: partition Windows 7
    D: has XP Pro

These should be considered right resp. partitions 1 and 2?

I wanted to first XP pro to start the default partition.

A few days ago, I made a change to the boot.ini file. But since XP Pro was not starting at all.

I tried XP Pro to start first that the default partition.

Given that XP Pro and my D: drive have not been starting, I consulted the boot.ini file in C:, Windows 7 partition and I changed the order (i.e. partition No.) in the boot.ini file and saved it to the required location, i.e. D:/WINDOWS/pss.
through my drive C: of work, i.e. the partition of Windows 7, but it still does not work because apparently even though I save here, the actual values and the paths of the partition are not actually be changed on the system. I confirmed this by going into the CMD shell switching to D: and by running the command D: > bootcfg.
Apparently any values I save in the boot.ini file that I save as a text file or "All files" in D:/WINDOWS/pss/it does not actually change in the system because whenever I run the command bootfg values are remaining still and not able to be changed, because apparently it is not saved in XP Pro and the D : partition. No matter what I do and what I put in the boot.ini file to access the values through the windows 7 partition, the values that bootcfg returns me are always the same and he refuses to change the name of path or anything else. No matter what orders, I also put in bootcfg himself.

These are the values that bootcfg gives me:
    default: multi (0) disk (0) rdisk (0) partition (1) \WINDOWS

    Boot entries:
    Boot entry ID: 1
Friendly name of operating system: MS Windows XP Professional
    Path: multi (0) disk (0) rdisk (0) partition (1) \WINDOWS
The operating system load options: / noexecute = OPTIN/FASTDETECT/usepmtimer

My XP Pro partition is simply not booting, and it of my main partition and has all my work. It is imperative that it starts.

My Windows CD is also not start because apparently my DVD drive does not work properly, I had the anti malware threatfire (ThreatFire) installed on my XP D:Windows program disk but have uninstalled just in case it was blocking my changes to the system.

On C:Win7, I put the default operating system option in the Advanced tab for Win7 and the D:XP Pro to XP Pro, when he was the starter and work. Now I can only access my files D:XP Pro Player C:Win7. But XP is not just start. What shd - I do? Thks.

I don't have a very practical windows CD but my CD/DVD drive is not read and does not properly.

Looks like your original post stated that your cd/dvd does not work.

Respectfully, you will continue these hap hazard patches and your computer will not start at all. I'll try to help you once again. Please follow closely.

Start your computer by loading Windows 7. Click HERE and download EasyBCD. Install the software in trial version. Once installation is complete open EasyBCD. You will see an interface like the image below. Click Add a new entry.

A new screen appears as in the image below. Use the drop down menu to select Windows NT / 2 k/XP / 2 k 3 as described below. Type the name of the operating system in the box below. Of course, it will be Windows Xp (you can add the home or Pro to the name if you want). Make sure now that there is a check mark in the box "automatically detect the correct player. Once you have completed these steps click on 'add an entry '. That's all! You are finished. If all goes well, and if you have followed these steps carefully, there, now you have a system dual boot.

You can now start working on your cd/dvd problem.

  • ClipboardFormatsPriorities maker.ini implementation image 10?

I recently installed Frame 10 and I want to change the ClipboardFormatsPriorities parameter so that the 'TEXT' is the first option in the list. I did in previous versions. Is it still possible in 10? If so, what hurts?

    Here is what I tried:

    1. The maker.ini file located in the following directory: C:\Users\mboyd\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker\10.
    2. Make a backup of the original maker.ini file.
    3. Maker.ini opened in a text editor and saw that the setting was no longer included.
    4. Tried to add it. I added the following line first to the [options] section, then the [image] section:

ClipboardFormatsPriorities = UNICODE, MIF, TEXT, RTF TEXT

Result: Nothing has changed. MIF has always the default when I copied and pasted.

-Change the default OLE to MIF was certainly an improvement, but I still would like the default value as TEXT. Let me know what I am doing wrong.

    Thank you!

    Melanie

    Melanie,

I just re-read your first view and when you say that the specific user to editing maker.ini has no effect, you're done it since glue FM FM or other-app-to-FM? FM FM blocks have always EPF along putting in shape (even from FM3). You need to test it by copying formatted content from another application like Word or a browser.

If you want to paste the text unformatted FM, then use the "ctrl + shift + v" (paste special) and "t" (for text) and then "entry" as a shortcut.

Not being is not able to edit the Program Files area in place maker.ini indicates a configuration problem on your machine you need to solve.

  • Issues of recovery of deleted data shift

I accidentally shift deleted all the files in my download directory at the same time.  I worked on them to return immediately, following all the rules I've seen here.

I tried a few different free recovery software.  All of them give me the same short list of files, even if a huge amount of files have been deleted from this directory.

Because the companies that make the recovery utilities want to earn money, they put a limit and only allow you to recover about 1 GB of what you have lost.  Is that mean that they only show you 1 GB, too?  That's why I can't see my files much, much that should have been recovered?  I'm not going to pay a price for the product until I know it can recover these files but apparently, I don't see them until I buy the product?  Is this good?  That's why all these programs do not work?

Also, another thing I need is a list of these files, it returns.  On nearly 100% of the files, it says they are in too bad shape for me to recover.  So, I need to be able to send that list, this worksheet to a printer, or copy of the Excel spreadsheet, etc. - one that lists all the names and details, name, size, type, last modifield, etc..  I need to be able to send this spreadsheet to a printer.  I tried with one of the applications (PowerData?) and he took the time and said he was sending something to a text file, but it was not what I was looking for - what has emerged is a file .ini for something.  I do not see where, in one of these software applications, I can print just a list of files that were rescued from this directory.

    Hello

You can get more information in the Recuva and another recovery program forums.

    I hope this helps.

  • Problems of partition on m380n

I managed to install a clean XP on my computer but when I looked in disk management, I saw that there are 3 partitions with two of them being unallocated. I installed Partition Magic 7 and when I tried to merge the computer restarts to a black screen with a prompt back. I had to reinstall XP again and it is up to and works, but it seems to be no way to get rid of these additional partitions or their merger in the drive C. I have a screenshot of PM list the partitions of the disk but do not know how to post it here.

Even when I was installing a XP minimum when it came time to choose or to delete a partition, I've highlighted the unallocated partition and click 'L' but he would'nt anything.

Hello thumb, this is perhaps the quickest and best way to get around this 'error '.

If you don't know what should look like the boot.ini, here is a link to Microsoft which shows how to edit the boot.ini file, or for others who may have need to do.

The link of Microsoft shows Windows XP Professional as a Windows operating system, but if you have just the standard Windows XP Edition family, you can simply remove the word professional from the boot.ini file.

I told you to do many things. What you have tried and what you are still trying (if we can get a happening of todo list and I can check it)? Have you managed to find the results of chkdsk?

Copy and paste so the formatting is good. It is a single line. If you get an error message, you can copy it by right-clicking in the window, choose the brand, by selecting the text, and press ENTER.

There are communes of false positives of SFC so do not assume that something is actually corrupted until we see what files it complains. Settings.ini, desktop.ini, tcpmon.ini and ending with mof files are false positives.

For the results of the SFC
Start - All Programs - Accessories - right on command prompt and choose run as administrator. Type (or copy and paste by clicking in the command prompt window and choose Paste).

    findstr/c: "[SR] cannot" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log|more "

It will be able to see which files are corrupted.

    To see if there

    findstr/c: "[SR] repair" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log|more

  • When I start my system, some notifications invites to the top of their own and I still see the desktop.ini file in my documents/files please what this means?

Every time I start my system, the Lync appears, a modem exe shortcut. files also appears, how can I stop this?

I want to know the meaning of desktop.ini, I remove cause it's to show in most of my documents?

Your thread was started successfully in the forum comments, so I moved it to the windows 'Repair and recovery' forum where is is more on the subject.  You must return to your topic and we tell which version of Windows you are using.

Look in your startup folder to see if you see Lync and modem.exe shortcuts in this folder.  If so, remove them and you should no longer see these pop-ups when you connect.

You can get rid of him, but it can return.  Desktop.ini is usually a file hidden, so you must have the display of hidden files and folders active if you do not see it.  Desktop.ini is a file that is present in many files and it is used by the process to "customize the folder.  It allows you to specify multiple behaviors to a folder and what desired icon displayed for a folder.  See http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/cc144102(v=vs.85).aspx for a more in-depth explanation of the desktop.ini file.  For certain folders such as My Documents, you should probably leave it alone.  It won't hurt anything especially if you do remove it, but the folder will then behave like any other folder, you can create.

  • When I try to change an .ini file in a folder of the game in program files, Windows 7 tells me I don't have permission and "contact your administrator." Guess what, it would be me. What should I do now?

I tried to activate the debug mode for Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn , so I go into program files, I find the .ini file that I need to change to enable the debug mode. I change it, so I try to save him. "You don't have permission to save in this location. Contact your administrator to save in this location. "I do not understand that I am the administrator of the machine! What is the problem! Please help me!

Press the Windows key, type in Notepad, when Notepad is displayed in the list, do a right click and click "Run as Administrator". Open the file using Notepad and save after you make changes.

While you are the admin, some features are always locked and need you to check if it is correct. What if all could do whatever he wanted this to be a problem. Confused, but safer, I guess.

  • What is ftconfig.ini in Windows 7 and what does

    My motivations to ask are:

    1. If it is a virus or malware, I want to remove it.

    2. If it is not necessary, I want to free up space on my hard drive.

    3. I have a keen interest in computer science so what does help me learn.

    1. If it is a virus or malware, I want to remove it.

    -> .ini cannot do viruses.

    2. If it is not necessary, I want to free up space on my hard drive.

-> Do a few basic calculations!
-The file is probably less than 10 KB in size.

-Your drive is likely to be 500 GB in size or larger.

-You can get 50 million of your hard disk's .ini file.

Question: That would gain by disabling such a tiny proportion of your drive? Almost nothing!

    3. I have a keen interest in computer science so what does help me learn.

-> Use notepad.exe to look inside the file. He will probably tell you that it is.

  • What is wininet.dll.mui and tcpmon.ini and why their absence results in irregular scrolling? And what I do about it?

I had problems with erratic scrolling. Grope in the Microsoft Help site led me to an instruction to use the System File Checker tool to see if the corresponding files were corrupted and get fixed them. That worked for all programs except:

WinInet.dll.MUI and tcpmon.ini, which seem to be missing on my system.

I don't know how to reinstall or where to find them. The info in the instructions does not seem to work to find or their installation.

And I always have problems with erratic scrolling.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hi hikingscott,

I would hold off the coast on the reset Internet Explorer.

In your previous post you said wininet.dll.mui, and I saw messages that refer to which is a problem of Windows Search.  If you have Vista SP1, then check out the following to reinstall:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=14850

And for the other tcpmon.ini, see SpiritX MS MVPof message in the thread that is similar to the following:

  • What is a "desktop.ini" file and why it is part of every folder on my drive network hard?

I have Windows vista (64-bit).  I have a WD HDD connected to a linksys E4200 wireless router. I created a music network hard disk, and every time I transfer or rip music to this reader, this "desktop.ini" file appear also in the context of each case.  Is this OK to delete this file?

Desktop.ini is a hidden file, use of Windows operating systems to store folder settings. For example, you have created a music library so desktop.ini will contain the settings to indicate to the user interface to display the files in the folder differently from a normal folder. It will also contain parameters of the custom icons and names.

You can delete the file if you wish; point negative only consequence will be the loss of these parameters/customization.
