What is the Arch of fire and what is its function?

What is the Arch of fire and what is it ' s function?

Do you mean FileVault?

If so, it is a method of encrypting the data on the hard drive to prevent access to the data by others. It is of first importance for mobile devices that take place around with you rather than office devices that tend to stay in a safer environment.

  • What is a customer of Runtime Essbase, what is its functionality?

Is someone can you please tell me is what a customer of time Essbase Run? I know that he is included in the Essbase client package. I read the previous questions related to this here and also the Installation and configuration guide. I couldn't find a happy. I know that the client package essbase includes Excel addin, customers Maxl and ESSCMD and also a client of execution. If someone could please tell me what it does, I would be grateful.

    Thank you.

The RTC Essbase and Essbase client are basically the same thing, it's a list of the libraries that allow interaction in some form with Essbase, a number of different products requires the RTC to work alongside Essbase and this is why he is deployed as part of common components in a facility of the EMP. The client includes Maxl and Esscmd, earlier versions of Excel add-in but is now separated, there is also the C API which can be installed as part of the installation of the client.
If you install the client locally, then it will probably be used for Maxl or Esscmd, a good example of a 3rd party software that requires that the client is the Essbase outline Extractor.

  • Impossible to move the mouse cursor using the trackpad on laptop Sony and some of its functions does not work.

Former title: Sony trackpad not working no-Windows 8

    Hi guys,.

I have a sony vaio s series that I bought last January. It comes preinstalled with windows 8, and I use it only about 2 - 3 times a week. 2 weeks ago my trackpad stopped working because I can't move my cursor. I can zoom in and zoom out, and other things, but there is a problem with some functions of the trackpad. I checked the synaptic driver and it says that it is up-to-date.
now, I suspected that it might be a hardware problem, so I sent it to sony Service Center because it is still under warranty. Unfortunately, it is not the case and I was informed that it's a software problem. They advise me reinstall windows 8 because it is the only solution to the problem, they believe. (I want to clarify that it is probably not Fn + F1, as when I start the laptop, the trackpad works perfectly fine for about 30 secods and suddenly Soundtracks autour after that).
I hesitate to do because it is a daunting task and I'm not really intuitive with such things. I wonder if you have any suggestions or if anyone has experienced the same problem.
My hunch is that a windows update is responsible for this, but I'm not entirely sure. Indeed, 3 weeks after I bought my laptop, that this has already happened to my once but after the reboot, the trackpad has worked well. now even by restarting the computer does not help. Basically, I have to use a mouse which is not convenient when I'm on the road...
Thank you very much! appreciate any help I can get, really. I'm about to want to sell my new laptop T_T

I finally solved the problem. I reinstalled the driver in safe MODE. Hope it could be useful to someone else

  • Sculpt the Touch Mouse: mouse and keyboard not fully functional Center

I bought and installed a Microsoft Sculpt Touch mouse. The Strip in the center of the mouse has three buttons by default assigned to the previous Page, click Middle and Page Down. I installed the mouse and the keyboard Center (v 2.3.188.0) to reassign these buttons but it allows to assign the button in the middle of the band. How can I redirect the other two buttons?

Documentation for the mouse and the keyboard and mouse Center also says that I can assign macros to keys, but the mouse and keyboard Centre does not appear to include these options. How can I assign macros to my mouse keys?

    Thank you
    Tony.

    Hi Tony,.

Thank you for the update on the question and sorry for a delayed response.

If after reading the article you don't how how to reallocate the PageUp and PageDown button on the median strip, then in this case I suggest you get in touch with support of Microsoft Hardware team.

Keep us updated on the issue.

    Kind regards.

  • Despite having a pretty good WLAN card, on the installation of photoshop and other software, its asking me to check again and try again, why?

    Its says:

You must have an internet connection to use this product. Please check your connection settings and select try again. If you still have problems, contact customer support

Maybe it's something on your system as a firewall blocking the connection the connection software Adobe is trying to implement. You can try to disable your firewall on your router and the PC to test something like this.

  • I'm on a macbook pro, and without knowing it, I turned to the vault of fire during a software update. The encryption process has begun. If I can't decipher, which will make my slow mac? or encryption is slow mac anyway?

    Hello

I'm on macbook pro 13-inch (mid-2012), and without knowing it, I turned on the Arch of fire during a software update (El Capitan 10.11.5). The encryption process has started and if I don't want to read more, which will make my slow mac? or encryption is slow mac anyway?

or at the end of the encryption process, my mac is slow?

    waiting for a quick response.

    Thank you

    Prosunkanti Sengupta

I have a MacBook Air with active FileVault 2012. There is no significant difference in performance. Note, however, that there will be a performance impact until the original encryption is complete and that it doesn't have a way to stop it.

  • Lessons on the looping and global variables in functions

I'm trying to gather a complete inventory of virtual machines and hosts in my environment.  For VMS, I am train to collect the information below but problem a loop in the case of hard drives and network cards.  For example, on hard drives, I get the following result:

    VMNIC1: Network card 1
    NICMAC1: 00:50:56:87:01:e6
    NICNetwork1: dvPortGroup6666

    NICState1: Logged, GuestControl, StartConnected
    HDName1: hard drive 2
    StorageFormat1: thin
    HDCapacityGB1: 100
    Datastore1: [RXCXN00020] host108a/host108a_1.vmdk

As you can see, only the last instance of the disc is saved in my outings.  In other words, HDNamex is never incremented but the value (here "drive 2") always represents the last disk that is, this virtual machine has two disks.  I have a few virtual methods with five disks and, in this case, there HDName 1 to a value of hard drive 5.  How properly I loop through each instance of my hard drives?

A key part of my information on Virtual Machines is the Cluster they are on.  This value, however, is only available by attribute parent of the host object.  Therefore, I created a hash table to try to do that research, but it seems that the hash table is lost outside the function Get-HostInfo.  Note the Get-VMInfo function tries to access the values in this Hashtable with the following result:

Cannot perform indexing in a null table.
    D:\scripts\VMInventory.ps1:36 tank: 82

Looks like I need to be "global" and not just its function, this hash table.  Any help of any of these two issues would be greatly appreciated.  Here is my code:

    $VMatSite | Get-VMInfo

The problem is that the Export-CSV cmdlet examines the properties of the first record it only reads and displays the properties for all the records. You can leave the script write a dummy record as the first album with all the columns that are possible. That will solve this problem.

What are the standards, the answer is Yes and no.

-A PIPELINED function and return a TABLE (a TYPE of OBJECT) will work

    SELECT id as PER_ID, description as EMAILID FROM TABLE(my_func('1234567890'));

-A function returning a variable work

First remove all the third-party RAM installed on the computer and re - built-in. Then, restart and test, whether the KIMBERLEY process continues to have a barrette of faulty RAM MEMORY.

Finally, what third party RAM brand has been installed? In these forums, because the iMacs are sensitive and benefit from the high quality of RAM, the Crucial two (buy it direct) and the two OWC (www.macsales.com) RAM are recommended because of their high quality and reasonable price. You can also have another hardware problem, in your case I would try to boot from the Partition Recovery (command + R to start) and open disk utility to see if the boot disk is found. You can also use Apple Hardware Test or Apple Diagnostics according to the age of the computer to run a test to see if two applications can detect any material error.
