  I m a vector problem with PDFs made with Illustrator (Ai CC 17). When I send them to other designers or clients with an older version (CS5) that they can't open PDFs in artificial intelligence. I thought Universal PDF and should work with ANY version of AI, as well as any version of ANY program there vector (Inkscape, Corel, etc.) ... If it has to do with my output PDF Properties dialog box when save as PDF in my CC Ai? -What I need: I want to be able to output my vector illustrations in a PDF format that is UNIVERSAL and can be opened and edited by everyone about what vector program, they have and even Word documents. -Someone told me to deselect the option "preserve Illustrator editing capabilities" in the PDF output dialog box.  It will be enough?

  This kind of work falls into a category that should be editable in many applications of vector. But maybe not all in the same easy manner. And maybe not in other software such as Word.

  More compatible file format is EPS (version 3). But this file format is a bit dated and indeed should not be used in modern workflows. So even if you enable some users, you turn off others.

  Therefore, it is best to offer multiple formats. But even in this case, you will get all of your users.

  You might want to delve deeper into other software formats and file if you want to get into this new.

  This means that after you restore the database, you need to retrieve it from the SNA 10132915277966.

  So, you need to apply recovery logs (Archive,...).

  Otherwise, the data files will be incompatible (blur).

  In MAX, you can simply right-click on the device and select 'device pinouts. The DAQ Assistant will also show pinout.

• Merge PDF files as bookmarks in a single document.

  Im working in a folder with multiple file paths (folders in folders in the folders, etc.). Each folder contains PDF files.

  Problem: It takes too much time to find a single PDF, because it can exist in a file, a folder, a folder...

  Solution: I want all of PDF files (which exists in all folders) have merged into a single PDF file. In addition, I want different Folders as bookmarks in the merged PDF file.

  Therefore, these bookmarks represents wich folder PDF files came (bookmark = the name of the folder name). Then when I click on the bookmark (folder), all PDF files that was in this folder becomes visible.

  I'm Picturing a dokument endless with bookmarks to click on, for faster browsing in the PDF file. Since there are, in the files, files in folders... There are bookmarks, in bookmarks, in bookmarks.

  Now, I have only Acrobat DC. What software do I need and what is the easiest way to set up my endless merged PDF?

  Well, certainly that is impossible with the reader. You can merge all your documents and create bookmarks with the full version of Acrobat, but I don't think that there is a way to automate the creation of bookmark to coincide with the structure of your file.   I have a requirement to merge several PDF files to single PDF on AIX 5.3 Server. This is currently done using Itext and Java. But recently, we have noted that Itext doesn't compress the PDF significantly. Then we tried to merge the PDF with Adobe Acrobat Writer(Adobe Standard 8) manually on the desktop (windows Vista). Our surprise the merged PDF size was lower.

  So, we want to move on to Adobe SDK. Appreciate the answer on sub queries: -.

  (1) is it possible to use PDF Library SDK to merge several PDF for only via Java program.

  (2) given that the program will run in AIX 5.3 server which is the version of PDF Library SDK I can use?

  (3) can I use PDF Library SDK on server?

  (4) license is required to create a PDF of source target several PDF documents? I assume that PDF Library SDK application for permit.

  (5) what is the cost per purchase. Do I have to buy any more that my requirement is only PDF writer?

  (6) can I get any support from Adobe for the SDK of the problems after the purchase of the product.

  (7) I downloaded, Acrobat 9 SDK. Please suggest how to find documents on the PDF writer as folder seems ambiguous.

  1 - Yes, they are VERY different products.  Acrobat SDK is a set of headers (and the related options) to work with Acrobat and Reader.  The PDFLibrary is a stand-alone library based on C/C++ to work with PDF documents.

  2 - Yes, there is a version of the PDFLibrary for AIX.

  Contact Datalogics (http://www.datalogics.com) for leave to the PDFLibrary from Adobe.

  Hey people, I have the custom pdf presets that are used to produce PDF from Adobe InDesign CS3 files on the Windows operating system. These presets are in the usual default folder: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe PDF\Settings\ and are included with a bunch of default settings. In any case, when I open InDesign and choose Adobe PDF presets in the menu file, all settings are visible. However, they have the name, [myCustomIDPDFPreset] in square brackets. I expect this result among the options of default working who are provided with Adobe, but not in my presets custom. This is a problem because our output scripts use the specific name of the screening to the content PDF output for the inclusion of the brackets cause its failure. Any thoughts on how the custom presets may appear in the list without the brackets. That's how it worked in CS2. Thks, Wil

  This seems to be a consequence of the location, and indicates that you cannot change the preset. If you use the load and save buttons, instead, in the dialogue box, the preset will be stored in your user directory and will appear without brackets. It also seems that you can move the presets for the directories of sweat and media will disappear.

  My guess would be that this is intended as a safety device to keep a user from accidentally a shared changing preset.

  In my view, it is mapped via CSS. I don't think you can change this behavior.

  If you generate printed material, it is NOT possible to import review comments.

• What is the oldest version of the bridge which will create pdf files?

  I have Photoshop CS2 and it came with the bridge, but I can't find the option to select a bunch of files and turn them into a single PDF.

  I did it before, but in more recent versions. I had CS5 but have lost up to now had to get something cheap and got a free version of CS2.

  However, bridge v1 does not seem to have this option.

  Can someone advise and also tell me what is the oldest version of the bridge that will do?

  This is the output module in bridge that was intended to replace the presentation pdf from photoshop cs4.

  Anyway, presentation pdf can do the same thing.

  Something like this:

  (used the sample files to id cs2 for screenshots)

  1. Select your files in bridge and go to Tools > Photoshop > presentation PDF

  

  2. who will open photoshop cs2 with the presentation PDF with your listed files dialog box.

  Under Output Options > save under, select the Document of several pages

  

  3. once the process is complete, go back to bridge and you should see the pdf

  

  4. open the PDF in a pdf reader you use, like adobe reader and the files should have been combined in a muti-page pdf.

  

  Also, instead of using the bridge, you can use the open files in photoshop by going on file > Automate > presentation PDF and verification to add open files

  

• In regards to the final quality, what is the VERY BEST way output an InDesign to Photoshop file?

  I create a file for an online ad in InDesign... because I'm primarily a print designer, because it includes text and images, especially because this is the program I work faster.  I create the final size required for advertising.  All done, all approved. Final online publication requires a jpg file.

  So... I can export of ID as a jpg. Or, I can copy all and paste it in a new PS document, then output jpg for the web and devices. Or, I can save/export as eps/PDF and open THIS file in PS, , then the jpg for the web and output devices. There's probably more. And of course, I could just create in PS if I have TO. What SHOULD I do wind up with the clearer jpg to the correct file size?

  I think maybe this post in the PS forum, too, and see if everyone agrees on a method. Thank you, all.

  Raster InDesign export functions are questioned regularly here in the forums, so even if it's something I have never, I have a distinct feeling that it can be quite problematic.

  I would say the InDesign > export > PDF / open a PDF file in Photoshop > save for Web gives you the most control over every step of the process.
