  I want to copy my Outlook.pst to my desktop (Windows XP Pro) data to my laptop.  Outlook displays the outlook.pst file which will be located in the "C:\Users\Specific User\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook" folder on my laptop.  However, when I try to access this folder in Windows Explorer, the AppData folder does not appear in the user specific folder.  I find in my office because Windows XP does not hide it, but he must hide in the Windows 7 operating system on my laptop.  How can I get it so that I can copy the file outlook.pst from my desktop to my laptop?  If the file is hidden, is there an easier way to copy outlook data from one computer to another?

  To see AppData, enable the display of hidden files and folders in the Control Panel > Folder Options > view .

  Run on the supercomputer network configuration wizard.  If this doesn't fix the problem:

  1. download and install the Tools of the Windows 2003 Server Resource Kit .

  2. click on Start > all programs > Windows Resource Kit Tools > Shell .

  3. type these lines at the command prompt, exactly as shown:

  NET user guest/active: Yes
  NTRights + r SeNetworkLogonRight u comments
  NTRights - r SeDenyNetworkLogonRight u comments

  APPDATA: Stores the path to the folder that contains the user-specific files that install applications. For example, Microsoft Word may install a custom dictionary to the location specified by the value of this entry. You can enter any valid Universal Naming Convention (UNC) or mapped drive name in the value of this entry.

  Is it not recommended to remove the content from APPDATA, because it contains information of the applications.

  If you want to reduce the number of unnecessary files on your hard disk to free up disk space and help your computer run faster, use disk cleanup. It removes temporary files, empty the Recycle Bin, and removes a variety of file system and other items that you no longer need.

  My dose is (thank you JoeHuangway to browse template file Android: Google game store does accept not the ADF Mobile apps for tablets)

  -Access file /JDeveloper/JDev/Extensions/oracle.adf.mobile/Android/Oracle_ADFmf_Framework.zip

  -Make a backup copy of the zip file

  -Unzip the file, which would be to extract all files in a directory of 'framework '.

  -Navigate to the framework/template/AndroidManifest.template.xml file

  -Replace value android: windowSoftInputMode "adjustResize" E.g. android: windowSoftInputMode = "adjustResize".

  Yes, right click on the top folder existing and choose Add a Parent folder. You can repeat this process until the full hierarchy is displayed.

  I just tried to help a colleague to recover a corrupted their cache CP8 project following the instructions I found on the site of Infosemantics Rod (thank you) and also referenced on this forum.

  It did not work. But the record did not contain the content referenced in the article. See screenshots below (left section, is shot is to the right of our file). All other folders that we checked looked the same.

  

  This could be the reason that the recovery is not successful? Why don't we seem to have the necessary content in the folder? I put my Explorer options to show all hidden files, folders, etc.

  Thank you for your help in advance (hopefully, this isn't just a mistake of rookie on my part).

  Hmm, that's how the record cached now seeks CP9 that is actually different. Which shows the stem is the way in which the file cached leaning forward. I tried yet to recover the cache, it has not so far. Have you tried to zip and rename this folder cache?

  This happened yesterday evening after downloading the Vista SP2. Suddenly, all my photo folders appear without no name under them. My document folders always appear normally. I tried to change the settings of the folder, but nothing works, unless I have show as list, details or tiles. Any help appreciated.

  You can always do a system restore to a point BEFORE you installed SP2 to 'fix' the problem with the update.  Here are the procedures: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/.  But this would remove SP2 from your system and I'm sure you really don't want to do that.

  Please repost your qeustion in the Windows Update Forum: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistawu/threads.  I don't know that someone there will be more than happy to help you with your problem.  They are the real experts when it comes to problems caused by updates including SP2.

  I'm on a domain active directory and copied the files on a windows 7 and it distributes and everyone has access. All my window 7 can see n work fine with it. None of my XP units can access. I can ping to the IP address and I even use the IP address when no part mapping. Nothing seems to work I try.
