    Hello

As far as I know you have SDRAM for this model. I found a page which appears a module of RAM Kingston which will fit your laptop. Check it on http://www.dealclick.co.uk/product/150629/Toshiba-256-MB-PA3069U-1M25.php.

Go and use the Crucial memory Advisor and after enter the configuration of your computer/card mother, you will be informed of its true potential and provided with a variety of possible solutions.

For questions of compatibility and upgrading memory, you may get more information than the Crucial memory Advisor. I always start there when considering an upgrade of memory.

  • Satellite 1400-503: what kind of RAM should I use?

It is pre-installed with 256 MB of RAM (I think) and I would like to enhance it with additional 256 MB in the free location. What kind of RAM I need? the preinstalled is a samsung with the inscriptions on it: Korea 0228 pc133s-333-542-81 L7A M46453254CT

    Hello

I want to clarify that you can upgrade the memory to 1024 MB.
As far as I know Toshiba recommend using these memory modules:
    PC133 512 MB (PA3108U - 1 M 51)
    PC133 256 MB (PA3086U - 1 M 25)
    PC133 128 MB (PA3085U - 1 M 12)

But as you mentioned the laptop supports modules SODIMM 144 pin PC133 .
In this case, you use modules with these properties.
But I prefer the modules Kingston or Toshiba. You know that no names module performance is not very good.

  • I have an older model hp dx5150 mt, I want to know exactly what kind of ram I need, I got 4 slots for ram?

I just want to know exactly what kind of ram will be my hp dx5150 desktop will manage and take, as I know its ddr and that this model will have up to 4gigs of ram, what I don't know is, is he pc2100, pc2700, pc3200, etc... etc... Please help

Use the scan memory automated by Crucial. Just click HERE. Download and run the file. A Web page opens in your scanning system. It then displays the results to the type of ram you need and how your system supports. Looks like you can handle up to 4 GB but, run the scan. A 64-bit operating system would probably increase the limit of 4 GB. For example, you might want Windows 7 Pro x 64.

  • What kind of speed USB should I expect realistically? (E200 & Clip)

What kind of speed USB should I expect realistically? (using the pliers & E200)

I'm finally migrate to a pretty decent computer, after having struggled with a very SLOW Dell for another few years.

My USB transfer rates are MUCH faster than them - saved file (WAV), which took about an hour and a half to transfer on the Dell, Dell will transfer in maybe six or eight minutes on this new machine.

However, I still get a small fraction of what I think I should get - I didn't record the numbers (they vary somewhat from run to run) but I don't think I've EVER received anything faster than 2 megabytes per second when copying the Sansa to the computer. (Computer a Pentium dual-core, 2.8 GHz, 4 GB memory, running Vista 32 bit.)

It is not a problem of USB port on the computer - pretty pedestrian USB flash drives and cards MicroSD (USB card reader) will transfer at rates much higher than the Sansas.

Is this normal and something I have to live with, or is there something I can do to speed things up?  (I've done a lot of research, did not find much, but one thing I noticed was someone who said have received something like twice the throughput when using MTP mode, as it did when using MSC.)  Personally I don't want to use the MTP - I prefer a lot being able to drag and drop via windows shell folders Explorer standards rather than dealing with Media Player, synchronization, etc.

Well, I decided to look at a file copy operation - he actually hit 4.02 MB/sec for about two seconds.  Began slowly, gradually progressed a little faster that it happened, got to 3.80, then oscillated around a little, then a little up to 3.99, then hit 4.01 for a second or two, then fell back again and then up to 4.01 for maybe two seconds at the end.

So, faster than I thought, but still pretty stinkin' ' slow, given what can make USB 2 (and MADE do with other devices, so I know it isn't the computer - and the fact that it happens for you also confirms that it is not something unique to my situation).

So why are they so slow?

My question is where you can find information on the extension of the memory? so that I can buy good ram

I found some info on Qosmio G30-161 and RAM upgrade.

    Here we go:
Your model of laptop can be upgraded with 4 GB RAM max. So, you can use 2 x 2 GB RAM.
According to Toshiba, you use PA3513U-1M2G (DDR2-667 2 GB Memory Kit).
