  I am trying to build a new graphics card (an ASUS / NVIdia GTX750Ti) in a desktop HP (HPE h8-1036de) PC.

  The PC beeps at startup.

  I guess that the card is powered (note that this is the 4 GB card and has no extra powers to him, it is just the power directly from the motherboard).

  I think the problem lies in the BIOS, but I don't knopw not how to proceed. Here are some questions that can help me:

  BIOS:

  1. can you recognize the BIOS the card automatically, or the card needs to be entered in the BIOS somewhere?

  Sorry, I don't think I'll be able to help you with this. as I said, it is almost impossible to upgrade graphics cards on laptops.

  Unfortunately, upgrading the graphics card is not possible. I'm don't know if you're familiar with cell phone technology, but you should know that graphics cards installed on laptop motherboards are not same as the GPU for desktop PC s s.

  The map is fixed and there is no way for an upgrade!
  You can upgrade the memory or HARD drive on laptop computers but not the graphics card!

  I also have a player m and I m a laptop owner but I don t use this device for games, but for a typical use like the internet, programming, members, etc.
  I have a second game machine and it s a desktop PC. It s supports a map of water cooling module and a really great graphics, but I'll change it to the a newer NVIDIA supports the directX10.

  I am running Vista and have had CS4 since it was released and never met with problems. I have a NVIDIA GeForce 7100 which is updated, and the GPU acceleration is enabled in my Photoshop.

  If anyone can suggest what might happen and how I could fix it, I would be very happy!

  I would like to start by resetting the photoshop cs4 preferences:

  Hold down the Shift + Ctrl + Alt keys right after the beginning of the launch of photoshop cs4.

  Keep possession of the keys down until you get a dialog box asking if you want to delete the adobe photoshop settings file.

  I have the solution by chance. I was looking for the latest drivers GeForce for Windows 7 x 64 and I read the accompanying note: http://fr.download.nvidia.com/Windows/337.88/337.88-win8-win7-notebook-release-notes.pdf
  On page 17, you can read the following note to fix: "[GeForce FX 770 M] [portable]: blocking of the blue screen occurs after Windows starts."
  
  Of course, GeForce FX 770 M does not exist (and never was), and it should be Quadro FX 770 M. I can bet that nVidia has corrected this famous BSOD problem in the wrong driver because always there is nothing about any "Quadro FX 770 M - fix" in the note accompanying the latest Quadro (340.52) driver.

  You try the GeForce driver above, but to install it, you may need to download an INF file modified with the addition of the ID of Quadro FX 770 M (= "NVIDIA_DEV.065C ="NVIDIA Quadro FX 770 M").   This Eizo has a normal resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. I expect not to see a lot of benefits of using the GPU. You really see the advantage to screens that are at least 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) or more. On small screens, you can see some benefits with smoother updates if you ONLY use the base sliders to develop. If you use brushes, turning on the GPU can actually slow you down a bit. In most cases, loading images in develop is also slower when you activated! There are a few illustrative notes to an engineer from Adobe that you can read here: notes for Lightroom CC GPU (2015) in order to better understand what is happening. Currently, in most cases, I recommend leaving off the coast. I think that Adobe is trying to improve and have more cards supported, but it is not yet completely there.
