OK, so I just had to re - install Windows 7 on my laptop due to a disk failure (Windows 7 Home Premium SP1) and hit a brick wall with trying to turn on Microsoft Updates instead of Windows updates.
I try to click on the link "Learn more" on the bottom of the page to update on the line "Get updates for other products Microsoft." and it opens just a web page with a graphic telling me to open my Start menu and click on Windows updates.
Catch 22 is that Windows Update has no options for anything other than Windows. He won't find the updates for the office or any of the other Microsoft programs I installed and there is no option to enable it in Windows Update settings.
Exactly what I am missing, and where has Microsoft moved the activation of Microsoft Updates page too, because when I click on the link need me to http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/thanks.aspx?ln=en&&thankspage=5 that makes a whole lot of nothing.
Thank you!

What is Microsoft - other hardware - HID Non-User Input data filter (KB 911895)?
What is Microsoft - other hardware - HID Non-User Input data filter (KB 911895)?
and what is it for?
What is Microsoft - other hardware - HID Non-User Input data filter (KB 911895)?
and what is it for?
In simple terms...
It is mainly for wireless devices that you have installed on your computer, such as keyboards and wireless mouse.
If you use the hardware wireless with your computer, the update is necessary. Without it, your computer won't be able to go to standby mode because the wireless hardware will keep the computer awake.

Commissioning is slow to open programs on my computer is very slow! I have used the disk cleanup and Disk Defragmenter. My clue is 2.1, which is pretty slow! Is it possible to buy several megabytes or gigabytes of Microsoft online store.
Hello Zennie371,
Here's a link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Optimize-Windows-Vista-for-better-performance from Microsoft. Also, you can watch by adding RAM (Random Access Memory) to your system. It may ask you to take it to a computer store, to add RAM, which is very cheap and is the best way to boost the performance of your system. See also below to ensure that your system is not infected:
Try to start your system in safe mode:
- Restart your computer if it is running.
- Press and hold the F8 key after your computer powers initially on.
- Once you see the Advanced Boot Options menu (or beep) you can stop.
- Up/down arrow keys to highlight your selection.
- Select Mode safe mode with networking and press ENTER.
- You should see drivers loading, it may take a few moments.
- You should then be at the Welcome screen.
- Connect to your computer using an account with administrator privileges.
- Now, you download (free) MalwareBytes from here: http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/ install, Update then do a scan of your system in safe mode, to ensure that it is indeed clean! Once the scan done remove anything it finds. Simply restart your PC to see if your problem has been resolved!
Hope this helps you. Let us know anyway. Make it a great day!

I completely uninstalled Intune to the machine, through registry and deleted all entries that will find there for Intune and Endpoint Protection.
The issue is that Intune installs successfully, but will fail to install all updates or endpoint protection. Initially, I removed the software because it has problems. In other cases, I've never had problems with uninstalling and reinstalling.
How I uninstalled:
From the console, I recused myself from the computer, whereas delete the software. I noticed that the deleted computer Intune EndPoint protection, so I had to manually remove the program from endpoint protection.

Apple TV: How to remove the suggestions "what others have looked at" the bottom of the screen
When my children watch shows on Apple TV, there's the line shows in the title of the episode they are about to watch in the "what others look," they often shows inappropriate or scary even if I have ratings on TV 7. Is there a way to disable this feature?
I don't believe it. You could make the use of The Apple TV Feedback. At least one doubt suggestions to conform to any definition of ratings.

'Need permission to use microsoft online services' cannot open a session!
That's what I get by trying to connect to msn or hotmail:
You need permission to use Microsoft online services.
Before you can log in and use Microsoft online services, a parent must give you permission. You can get permission right now by asking your parents to come to the computer. Or, you can send an e-mail asking their permission to your parents.
After your mother gives you permission, you can sign in with your new e-mail address, * address email is removed from the privacy *.
Parent: To give or deny your child to sign in and use Microsoft online services, click Get Permission Now.

How can I change my PC start up login information so that it will automatically connect to my Microsoft online account?
I would like to be able to set up my startup of Windows 7 on my PC, as it relates to my Microsoft online account. My startup password when I turn on my computer first would be the same PW that I use for my Outlook and other activities online. I hope that this would help sign me in the 'cloud' and take advantage of some of the features available in Office 2013, recently downloaded automatically. Thanks for the replies! Detail is appreciated.Hi Michael,
Unfortunately, this is the only way to accomplish this task.
