What part of fan should I buy - HP Desktop

I have a HP Pavilion elite e9220y award-winning House.

prod # NY553AA

Windows 7; 64 bit

I think my fan is going; should what part I buy? must be a part of HP?

I posted a similar question yesterday, but the answer was a hard drive! So I try again... Thank you very much...

denise14107,

The part number for several rear case fans stock is 5188-3722. The same number is used for several units of HP. Also, it does not reference a specific manufacturer. Reference is made to the specifications of the parts.

Now, regarding your question and quandry.

You can measure the fan using this model. ' 92mm 3.6 ", is 80mm 3.15.  Back the box (normally a 92mm) is a 3-wire fan and is set at 1600 rpm. The CPU fan is usually a 4-wire, rated at 3000 rpm PWM fan. Where several users mistake is to select low fan RPM, causing the system sensors trigger a 'failure '.

Your real problem is subjective. First hard drive, now you think the fan. You will need to open the case and a Visual inspection and locate the problem.

I want to burn files to a cd, there are two files, one is 8.1 GB and the other is 3.5 GB, what capacity of CD should I buy to take account of these files, or is there any method I can use?

First of all, you cannot use a CD for each file - they do not provide enough space (and I'm pretty sure same compression help not enough).

You can burn the 3.5 GB on DVD or DVD-R DVD - RW file, as long as it's a guy with enough space http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD.

8.1 GB file CAN be turned into a DVD, but you need a very special type (and maybe special software - I'm not sure about this).  An article on the different types of DVDs and their abilities of here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD.

There are a few 3rd party software products that allow you to split a large file inot several pieces to fit on a game sequenced CD, but I couldn't find one that was free.  To do this, you can check on www.download.com, www.tucows.com, Bing, and Google.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • I'm going to buy a new laptop, what windows operating system should I buy?

I'm going to buy a new laptop, what windows operating system should I buy?

No one can tell you that, until you tell us what you want to use the machine for. A laptop to read PDF files, is different from one for the use of Photoshop or After Effects. Indeed, some might tell you that a laptop is not suitable for After Effects. Let us cast the additional question: do you plan to upgrade to Windows 8? Which could also affect the recommendations.

  • What type of DVD should I buy to burn my Windows Movie Maker movie? Also, I have Windows DVD Maker, but no DVD burner. What should I buy?

I created a movie in Movie Maker.  I bought some DVD + r's - the correct burn the movie on?  Also, I don't have a burner, I thought that I did, I can only burn a CD what should I buy?  I don't have a Windows DVD authoring program.

    Hi rondah,.

Welcome to the Microsoft community newsgroups.

The type of recordable DVD, you need to use depends on your DVD burner, as well as on your DVD player. Some DVD burners can burn only to certain types of DVD recordable. For example, with some DVD burners, you can only record to DVD + R discs or DVD + RW or DVD-R or DVD - RW discs, while some other DVD burners will let you burn on all of these recordable DVD types.

As long as your DVD burner supports burning to these types of discs, you can use Windows DVD creation to burn a DVD using one of the following types of recordable and re-recordable DVD media: DVD + R, DVD + RW, DVD - R, DVD - RW, and DVD - ROM. These recordable or rewritable DVDs can be either simple single laminate or single sided double layer.

You should also consider the device you're using to play the DVD once you have engraved, if possible. Some DVD players and DVD - ROM drives play only certain types of DVD. To determine what types of DVDs your DVD player or DVD - ROM drive can play, see the documentation that came with your device or go to the manufacturer's Web site.

  • What pci firewire card should I buy for my desktop HP Envy h8-1430

I wonder how fire wire pci card should I buy for my HP ENVY H8 1430 running WIndows 8.

I'm looking for card firewire 6-pin

    Hello:

Use a firewire PCI card does not work in your PC.

You must use a PCIe x 1 firewire card.

Here is a link to several models. Take a look at the review and buy the one that seems to suit your needs and budget best.

  • What kind of RAM should I buy for my Pavilion dv2351ea?

I want to improve my 2 X 512 MB RAM memory.

the problem is that I don't know what type of memory to buy. I don't really know the difference...

    Thank you

    Ran

It will take the most common memory and the cheapest laptops, that you will find at Best Buy or any store similar electronics... that's 200 pin DDR-2 667 or 800 mhz, also known as memory PC2-5300 or PC2-6400. Here is a picture:

    http://crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=Pavilion%20dv2351ea

Here you can see that 2 1 gig sticks of memory will cost like $30... very reasonable.

If you need assistance with installation, let me know.

  • what external hard drive should I buy to save a 2009 MacBook Pro with USB 2.0 port?

I want to back up the hard drive on my circa 2009 MacBook Pro (13 '') with Snow Leopard.  There are so many things out there and I want to get the right one!  My MacBook has only a USB 2.0 port.  I need to do this because I take the machine to have the battery replaced and because I am buying a new machine soon and would like to transfer things I backed up on my new machine.  Any recommendations for what is the most appropriate portable drive would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

    Frances

I use this external enclosure: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/MSTG800U3K/

Can take any 2.5 in drive (HD or SSD).  I swap currently 3 bare drives (WD 750 GB Black) for familyvideos/data, clones, test data discs.  $72 seems expensive, but it has Firewire 400/800 and USB 2.0 and 3.0 interface for use with many computers.

  • What kind of cable should I buy to connect my iMac (late 2009) on my HDTV?  It seems that I have a mini view port on the back.

I would like to connect my iMac (21.5 inch display on a recent model of 2009) on my HDTV.  I live in rural and can not get dish or cable TV.  I like to watch movies on Amazon on television.  The back of my monitor a firewire, mini display port and ethernet as well as USB ports.

Why not get an Apple TV? There are currently two versions available, the most recent being about $150, the previous version is on sale for $69 (was $ 100 until the new came a month or two ago) by Apple, maybe from a local retailer. You can then broadcast a wide variety of content wirelessly on your TV TV & film. I have a $100 models, and it runs great on my i - Mac.

  • What Macbook should I buy AutoCAD?

    Hello!

I just want to ask, what macbook should I buy AutoCAD? I plan to buy the Macbook Air w / core i5 but I saw in some discussions that it is not recommended for autocad... is this true?

BTW... I am a student in engineering, and I'll use it at school it's why I do not prefer the Macbook Pro because it's big, bulky and heavy. I want the Macbook Air because it's elegant, light and it fits into my bag. And also I need the cheapest possible that's why I prefer really the model of Air. (because I'm just a student and my savings from my job part-time is not big so my budget is tight and only around $ 400-600)

I need it after this break.

Thank you! Prospects for a helpful answer.

I'm not familiar with the application, but I suggest that you contact the school and get recommendations from them for minimum requirements as well as the developer of the software.

    Ciao.

  • What type of disc hard caddy should I buy Envy 15 laptop computer 3040nr?

    Hello world

I plan to replace my optical drive with an ssd in my 3040nr feel like 15. Given that I don't have much experience would be nice if someone can share on this topic. What I need is the full specs on the caddy should I buy and measures.

    Thank you!

Some models Envy 15 came with the second span inside aleady but need to reference your model against the downloadable repair of hp on the link to support this site.

If you do not have model with the second drive Bay, then indeed a caddy for optical Bay is the easy way.

Your optical Bay is 9.5 mm Sata interface & they are so simple to buy standard inustry.
