  You did an excellent job so far! Then I recommend the system management controller (SMC) reset. This system can solve some unexpected behaviors. Follow the steps below:

  1. Stop the Mac.
  2. Unplug the MagSafe from Mac power adapter.
  3. Remove the battery. (Learn about removing the battery in the MacBook and MacBook Pro computers).
  4. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
  5. Reconnect the battery and the MagSafe power adapter.
  6. Press the power button to turn on the Mac.

  The LED on the MagSafe power adapters could change State or temporarily disable when you reset the SMC.

  Reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac.

  If the problem persists, test this problem in safe mode. This will allow you to exclude the software as the cause. To help get started in safe mode and additional steps, use the steps and the link below:

  Lightroom keeps all your changes in the catalog. It does not modify your original images. To get the images to burn to disc, you must go through the export dialog. As long as you do not specify 'Original' in the Format field in the file settings section, your changes will be incorporated in the exported files.

  In LR, import, change to develop and when you have the files on the Web, send email, or send to your friends on DVD-R, you export and remove the exported copies when finished with them on your computer. Whenever you need a copy for a design, Lightroom can create in a blink of an eye.
