What size large document format please?

I work on a canvas of 60 x 40 inches in size in photoshop, I use the large document format?

If it saves OK in. PSD and isn't close to 2 GB in size on the disk, then you probably don't need to worry about this.

    Try to make a collage of great wall.  The wideth is set at 100 "/ height 54" - resolution down to 290 so the image/canvas size is less than 30 000 pix.  There are 12 layers - each with a photo from 18 to 28 "wide and 8 to 16" high.  When the document was saved he changed post to the PSB.  I still need to open this document in another program, so I can print.  I have recreated the collage with different framework, but has always failed.  Anyone have any suggestions.

    Thank you

    How closely do you can look at this image, and the amount of detail you want to show?  Similarly a modest look at a distance of, say, 3 feet with a very large presentation really just 150 dpi, and with your image, it might even work well at a lower resolution than.

    What is open in another program once printed, you entered your master file .psd, you can not only record a copy of collage as a JPEG of high quality and printing from that?

  • What size Maxie pdf format may be?

    How many MB format pdf can be before it explodes?

    ">"> ">

    Hi sectest33 sectest33,.

    There is no such limit on the size of the PDF file. This mainly depends on the file system used on the machine and the operating system.

    Maximum FAT32 file size is 4 GB. The cluster size is 4 KB up to an 8 GB partition. Beyond 8 GB, the cluster size up to 32 KB. NTFS, that's what almost everyone should use on their hard drives today. Its maximum volume size is 2 ^ ^ 64-1 and its maximum file size is 16 × 1024 ^ ^ 6 bytes (much more than the largest hard drive available today). Cluster size is 4 KB, regardless of the size of the volume.

  • now what? default index + insertion of large documents

    back to my problem inserting a large document which was not due to the specification of default index in the container I'm now face a different dilemma, please help.

    Because the default indexing is prohibiting the addition of large documents in my container, how should I proceed given that indexing strategy will generally help my application?

    Whereas the container will have already (or could have) several documents and because the following document will be inserted, there is a great beast that will crash any JVM/cache config, what to do?

    At this stage, I can only naively think I'll create a dummy nonindexed container to insert the doc of Monster and then gradually scan the doc while recreating it little by little in the container indexed in a threaded operation that can take his time.

    Help?

    Hello

    We should discuss this in a single thread, and not both :-) What default index you put? For default presence are not a problem; default substring index are never recommended; index of default are also suspect according to paper size/shape because they will create indexes on mixed content that not only takes place, but these topics are rarely useful.

    Kind regards
    George

    What is the difference between DC of Acrobat Reader and Acrobat Standard DC? I'm looking for the function to extract pages of large documents.

    Acrobat Reader is just a viewer/reader PDF; It cannot modify or create PDFs.

    You will need Acrobat Standard or Pro to extract pages from a PDF.

  • Script to display the size of InDesign pages instead of the size of the Document format

    Hello, I have been very kindly helped with the script (using a text variable), which displays the size of the current page within an InDesign document below.

    The result gives it is based on Document format, and I was wondering if it was possible to amend it to base the result on the size of the Page instead (as you can now change the size of the page regardless of the configuration Document in InDesign using the Page tool). I don't know anything about the scripts by the way!

    Thank you very much in advance for any help.

    var doc = app.activeDocument;

    doc.viewPreferences.horizontalMeasurementUnits = MeasurementUnits.millimeters;

    doc.viewPreferences.verticalMeasurementUnits = MeasurementUnits.millimeters;

    var l = doc.documentPreferences.pageWidth,

    h = doc.documentPreferences.pageHeight,

    PageSize = app.activeDocument.textVariables.itemByName ("PageSize");

    pagesize.variableOptions.contents = h + w + "X mm", "mm";

    Try this,

    var doc = app.activeDocument;
    doc.viewPreferences.horizontalMeasurementUnits = MeasurementUnits.millimeters;
    doc.viewPreferences.verticalMeasurementUnits = MeasurementUnits.millimeters;
    for(var i =0;i

  • Cannot change the size of the Page using Document format

    I created a working document which is a long page, 800 px by 4000 px. It's a document that has grown as it has been assembled, and I would regularly change the page size by using document format to lengthen the page so I could make room for additional content.

    Now I'm trying to reduce the length of the page, because we have removed some of the content. I need to change the page size of 4000 px long 3380 long PX. I'm going to the preparation of the Document, type the new page size, click OK and nothing happens. I tried to resize the page to 6000 px, and nothing happens. I tried to resize the page of 2000 px, and nothing happens.

    Did somehow lock the page size? I can't understand this one out, and the representative of Adobe tech (in India) including support less on the problem I did.

    In InDesign CS6, you must choose the tool (3rd from the top) Page to change the size of the page.

  • The best apps/programs for scanning large documents?

    Suggestions for the best apps/programs for the digitization of large documents in PDF format

    I do a lot of contract and during the analysis of a 20-page document becomes 28meg using the built-in scanner.  No email-able so any suggestions would be great.

    IM pretty new to a Mac from a PC so just need some advice. That maybe I need to adjust the settings.

    Help, please!

    Thanks in advance

    Use dropbox to allow your recipients to download large files: Dropbox

    You should be able to reduce the size of the file and keep the good resolution by changing the application settings for the scanner.

    If you want a test of improved scanner app: Vuescan

  • HP Envy 17 t: what size usb drive is necessary for the recovery of HP Envy 17 t 10 (64-bit) Windows?

    I just installed my HP Envy and wanted to set up a recovery disk.  The USB key must be less than 32gigs, but the example has not been updated for Windows 10 the instructions say.  It shows a recovery screen for a laptop of Win8 with the source of recovery like 17 concerts.   Is there a way to check the requirements for the front to accept the HP one time recovery option.  I have a new 16 GB USB key and wanted to make sure that it is large enough.

    Also do a backup image to DVD?   If so, how many DVDs?   The laptop is new and I added only Chrome and some minor programs.  My data files are always on an external hard drive.

    Hello

    Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

    To be honest, I don't know what size will be that these recovery files are because they can vary from the version of Windows to another. They can vary from a model.

    In my opinion, 16 GB is probably not enough.

    DVDs are usually 6 (6x4.7 GB = about 28 GB) but this can vary from one model.

    This possibility of imbedding maybe once, there are other ways that you can save your system indefinitely.

    This is a free option included in all windows (creating system image, it's free as included in Vista from the outset).

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03544793

    However, this option requires (e.g. USB HDD) external HARD disk or DVD. It does not work with USB flash drives.

  • What is the best format to select then copy music from a cd to itunes

    I copy my cd collection into iTunes. What is the best format that should be selected for the best quality of music? Thank you.

    "Better format" and "Better music" (sound quality) are not the same question, for audio encoding.  The best sound comes from a "Lossless" format  The encoding using the Apple Lossless Encoder encoder in iTunes provides without loss of sound quality, compared to the songs on CD (which are in AIFF format).  You can also use the AIFF encoder, but the files of the song will be a little bit bigger compared to Apple Lossless.  However, TWO Apple Lossless AIFF formats and create larger files of the song, so they take more space on your computer drive (several times over).

    iTunes Store sells songs in format AAC , compression ratio 256 kbps.  This format may provide the best combination of efficiency (small size) and the sound quality.  There is a minor loss in sound quality due to compression, but I can't tell the difference between lossless and AAC at 256 Kbps, format with my headphones and speakers (and ears).  To use this format when you import your CD, select the AAC Encoder value encoder iTunes more.

    NOTE: Import encoding settings run the button import the settings of iTunes preferences General pane.
