  HP sells more recovery disc for this series of models... and they be for Windows Vista, W7.

  The only available software that you can download is on the dv9700 support page.  The vista software should work on W7 excessively.

  If you want all software original came with the laptop, you will need to see if you can still get a set of recovery disks Vista from a provider of 3rd party as the surgeons of the computer.

  Install Vista using recovery disks, and then create an inplace move to W7.

  I tried to install Win10 on my MBPr for a few hours, but the software download Support from Apple through the Boot Camp Assistant takes somewhere between 120 and 10,000 minutes Yes, ten thousand minutes. It's because of my boyfriend very slow network, so I went to download it directly from Apple's site, where it should be a lot faster after what I read. Indeed it took me 20 min, but trying to run from Win10 (all installed, no problem) it says "this version of Boot Camp is not intended for this model of Mac" (or something of the sort). "This model" as keywords, then I tried to look for download Apple focus again, this time by model and downloaded a different Support Software version... which did not also.

  So now, I come to you. Should what version I download? My MBPr appears in the footer, the version of Windows is education 64-Bit. I shouldn't be that I installed it without any hiccup at all on my iMac 5K at home, so I guess that this version should be good. I can't connect to Wi - Fi or play games on Windows, so please help me here D:

  W10 drivers can be downloaded using three different methods.

  1. use OS X BC Assistant on a wired network. Older versions of OS X are also the same.

  

  2 use the Apple software update...

  Complete the installation of the printer using the following steps:

  1. Select start > settings > Control Panel > printer and faxes > Add printer.

  2. during the process of the Add Printer Wizard, you will be asked to select a port. In the drop-down list, select a port USBxxx (virtual printer Port).

  3. navigate to the location where the printer files are located, TPG A794 CD full #1 and select the printer.

  4. once the test page prints the drawer will open automatically. NOTE: The TPG A794 CD #1 version generates a pulse of cash drawer 1 after each document, open the cash drawer.

  Even though this is listed as a solution for the RP5000, it worked perfectly on the RP3000 using printer HP A799.
