  I'm trying to run an old program, manage his money, on Vista Home Premium 64 - bit. It ran OK on Win XP. When I try to run the setup.exe, I get error - "the version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows hou are running." I tried to use the program compatibility Wizard. No help.   If you get this error and the Compatibility Mode doesn't help, then the program simply is not compatible with this version of Vista, and if you want the program, you will need to check with the manufacturer to see if they make a full install version which is compatible with Vista and buy the program more recent.  If they do not have such a version, then I'm afraid you're just out of luck with this program.  The only other option MIGHT be Virtual PC, but even that is not a guarantee and is a little extreme just to get an old program running.

  I don't understand. What makes you think the reader 'is not compatible' with Windows 7? Windows (or any other OS besides) sees no external hard drives as "compatible" or not...

  Creative cloud is compatible with windows 8.

  Please follow the steps below:

  1. Uninstall CC program and features

  2. run cleaning CC tool: use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems
