What type of drive used to burn an .iso?

I just downloaded Google Chrome OS on getchrome.eu and I also had a software burning .iso. When I click on "Copy to Disc", he said that the media are not supported. I use a disc of DVD - R Memorex with 4.7 GB of data. Wut do? ~ Mystery.

You did not say what software you use, but "copy on the disc" normal will not create an image from an ISO file. Looking for an option that involves copying an ISO. If not, look here for a simple way to burn image ISO of CD or DVDhttp://neosmart.net/wiki/display/G/Burning+ISO+Images+with+CDBurnerXP

Also, I assumed that you have a DVD - RW drive.

    Sannia Hello,

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

    1. do you try to play audio files. WAV extension?
    2. If so, what happens when you play the files? They do not play, or you receive an error message or a code?
    3. What is the brand and model of your tab Windows 8?

Thank you for details on the issue.

File (WAV) Audio Waveform format is a Microsoft and IBM audio file format standard for storing an audio bitstream on PCs. It is an application of the Resource Interchange File Format (RIFF) binary stream format method for storing data in "chunks", and thus is also close to the 8SVX and used the format AIFF on Amiga and Macintosh computers, respectively. It is the main format used on Windows for audio usually compressed gross systems and not compressed. The usual bitstream encoding is the format for linear pulse code modulation (LPCM).

Audio driver is common for all types of audio files. However, in order to play an audio file with a specific extension, you may need a special codec that you can install. You can refer to this article:

  • What type of encryption using Firefox Sync?

Can someone tell me what type of Firefox Sync encryption encryption using on the server? This has not been answered in the FAQ.

There is probably no additional encryption on the server. Everything is done on your computer before you transfer the data via a secure connection

    Of https://wiki.mozilla.org/Labs/Weave/Crypto

The Weave password is what makes this work. Remember, your browser already knows your passwords and the history of the form: it is decrypted everything in your local memory. By using the password, we encrypt your information on your local computer. Then, we use industry standard SSL to relay information encrypted to the server.

  • What is the driver used for the PCI8360.

    Need your help

We installed the PCI 8360 in the host PC and installed the latest version of NI PXI platform services, but he still sees the device as an unknown device. IUS the PXI platform or services the source of the driver for the PCI 8360? This condition of unknown device should when we do not have the PCI8360 still connected to the PXI8360 on the PXI system?

    Hoping for any response there.

    Thanks in advance.

There is not much that a PCI-8361 does by itself, but if you want to find in device manager it will appear as a bridge PCI to PCI.  In some systems, it may be something like "reverse PCI to PCI Express bridge".

Bridges will appear under system devices.  If you open the properties for the PCI-8361 bridge, go to the Details tab, and then select "Hardware ID" in the property list, you should see "1093" within the description of "SUBSYS_.  Good luck.

  • What type of DVD should I buy to burn my Windows Movie Maker movie? Also, I have Windows DVD Maker, but no DVD burner. What should I buy?

I created a movie in Movie Maker.  I bought some DVD + r's - the correct burn the movie on?  Also, I don't have a burner, I thought that I did, I can only burn a CD what should I buy?  I don't have a Windows DVD authoring program.

    Hi rondah,.

Welcome to the Microsoft community newsgroups.

The type of recordable DVD, you need to use depends on your DVD burner, as well as on your DVD player. Some DVD burners can burn only to certain types of DVD recordable. For example, with some DVD burners, you can only record to DVD + R discs or DVD + RW or DVD-R or DVD - RW discs, while some other DVD burners will let you burn on all of these recordable DVD types.

As long as your DVD burner supports burning to these types of discs, you can use Windows DVD creation to burn a DVD using one of the following types of recordable and re-recordable DVD media: DVD + R, DVD + RW, DVD - R, DVD - RW, and DVD - ROM. These recordable or rewritable DVDs can be either simple single laminate or single sided double layer.

You should also consider the device you're using to play the DVD once you have engraved, if possible. Some DVD players and DVD - ROM drives play only certain types of DVD. To determine what types of DVDs your DVD player or DVD - ROM drive can play, see the documentation that came with your device or go to the manufacturer's Web site.

  • 2016 iMac, purchase decision: why I'd get a 2 TB vs 1 TB disc fusion? What type of use requires a 2 TB with vs 128 GB 1 TB 24 GB flash version?

2016 iMac, purchase decision: why I'd get a 2 TB vs 1 TB disc fusion? What type of use requires a 2 TB with vs 128 GB 1 TB 24 GB flash version?

At first, we thought they were SSDS but learned that they are only partial. It really takes the extra storage space and our practices are mainly applications to business and other things like google earth, photos, the light using google sketchup etc. To know we are not the players or the designers. However, we do tend to keep our computers for a long time. We still have our 11 year old iMac. Are there benefits hidden suspension for the 2 TB drive that we regret or should stick us to the 1 TB version?  If we were to get a 2 TB we would notice even the difference account required to our practice?

It depends in part on the total amount of storage you need. One way to help determine which would be to analyze how much space you use on your current iMac. I currently have a MacBook Air, which has only 128 GB of total storage (all the flash) and it's big enough for me (though I'm not typical) and I really enjoy his performance. If I was in the market for an iMac, I'd be buying the 256 GB flash storage option - but I don't need total storage space. The information below from the link "how much storage is good for you" in the http://www.apple.com/shop/buy-mac/imac?product=MK442LL/A & step = config

    can help

    Flash storage

Flash storage offers significantly improved compared to a traditional hard drive - performance speed you will notice when you start your iMac, launch an application or browse your photo library. Storage Flash also uses no moving parts, so it works silently. For maximum performance, you can configure up to 512 GB of memory flash on the iMac 21.5 inches or up to 1 TB on the iMac 27 inches.

    Fusion drive

Fusion drive handset storage quick flash with a large hard drive. OS X intelligently manages what goes where, using the Flash for files you access frequently and keep the rest of your digital life to the larger hard drive. Over time, the system learns how you work, so it suits the Fusion drive management view for work best for you. You can choose a Fusion drive up to 2 TB on the 21.5-inch iMac, and up to 3 TB on the iMac 27 inches.

Merge to disk 1 pairs of a hard disk of 1 TB with 24 GB of quick flash - enough to store files of OS X and applications in order to ensure a quick start, near wake instant sleep and quick application launch, with room remains for the most frequently used files and important applications. 2 to and 3 to pair of Fusion results in a hard drive more than 128GB of quick flash storage, offering even more space for your most frequently from the files used. For best performance, systems iMac with 32 GB of memory must be configured with a 2 to big merger or any flash storage.

  • What type of DVD can I use for backup of Windows?

I'm wanting to make my backup of Windows and I was wondering what type of DVD media I use. Is it better to use a RW or one R type DVD.

    I have a HP Omni 220-1180qd, A5W89AV #ABA, Win7 64 bit running.

I thought I read it can use CD, DVD, but I want to know which would be the best choice.

Thanks for any help and any help is appreciated.

Honestly, an external hard drive would be a better choice. The difference between-R and + R/W is only + R is "Writable" and + R/W is "Re-Writable. If you intend to do periodic backups, go with an external hard drive... If you intend to make backups very little, consider DVD + R discs.

  • How do I know what type of hardcore is used?

    Hi all
I'm a newbie dba. I was doing a bit of study on the optimizers. Can someone help me to find out what type of optimizer based on CSSTidy is currently used in my database. Is there both table where I can ask questions and whether it is a RBO or a CBO.
I have another doubt. some body help me please with the difference between the use of "in" and "exist" in a select query.
    Thank you!

OPTIMIZER_MODE is a level parameter Instance (in initSID.ora or spfileSID.ora file) that you can view with an OPTIMIZER PARAMETER SHOW
    (or by querying V$ PARAMETER).

Individual sessions can also define specific settings that influence the optimizer with ALTER SESSION command while the SQL statements can include advice (from a large number of tips available) that influence the optimizer.

IN and EXISTS are semi-join operations. If you use one or the other used depends on which table would be the best driver. However, apparently since the 9i, the optimizer is smart enough to transform queries.
